NYCityBikes is a really good app if you want to easily find the closest available bikes or docks available. Previous reviewer‘s were complaining that they could not rent a bike easily from NYCityBikes . That is not what NYCityBikes is meant to do. The native Citi Bike app is great for unlocking bikes but not so great for easily finding the closest available open bikes or docks. NYCityBikes gives you a list by distance making it really easy to find the closest available bikes or docks. Highly recommend!

Terrible app. It used to be great, but now nothing will load without location services (GPS) turned on. You can’t use the map like a map. Will be deleting NYCityBikes now, because it’s entirely useless.

Careful, this is a ripoff scheme. If you do not opt out actively, you have a subscription for crap nobody needs and canceling this is only possible by phone. If this is the only way you can make money, I pity your sad enterprise.

Terrible. Can not figure it out. Want to use a bike for 3 hours. Even if we return and take a new one that’s fine but can not figure this out!

Instead it leads you to enter your credit card data and then charges you for some entertainment stuff that you’re not interested in. There is a real CitiBike app; don’t be fooled and waste your time and money with this one.
