As a puzzle game, Green is alright. The mechanisms of each level are different, yet are all solved the same – trial and error by tapping/sliding objects until you win. There’s hardly any logic involved in solving each level and it feels as though the developers created the game in a similar manner. Regardless, the puzzles are unique and unconventional.

However, the difficulty is static. Each puzzle is about as challenging as the last, so the game devolves into a mindless “idle” game that fails to impress as the player progresses. Some levels even take too long to solve despite the solution becoming obvious within the first 5 seconds (e.g. the snake game). It’s not especially engaging.

Although Green is a puzzle game, it should not be marketed as one. The game does not encourage critical thinking since there are rarely any repercussions for “incorrectly” solving a puzzle. It should be marketed as a mindless tapper game instead. It more closely resembles this genre of game anyways.

So all the puzzles are really good and challenging with a simple answer but the answer is easy to look over which makes the game really fun. The ONLY problem I had are with the number puzzles where you have to type in the numbers in the order that they appear. The only reason I have a problem with them is I’m on level 50 and I’ve typed in the set of numbers the only two ways you can for it to possibly be correct and it still doesn’t pass the level. Idk if it’s a bug or what but this is the only problem I have with this game.

I’ve been playing Bonte games since I was an infant (not really but almost) and I LIVE for greengame versions of some of these games. If you liked this game at all, you will love the other color games and probably the other ones too.
These are just the right amount of challenge with just the right amount of hints, in my opinion. Absolutely fabulous and I am patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for more!!
PS: I’m glad these are free!!! [but I would pay for them. no lie, no lie!]

Love the difficult puzzles. Most of them are clever, but soon becomes a bit repetitive after lvl 50. Some of the puzzles are literally impossible to start without first using a hint. This is where the designer fails in my opinion. Speaking of hints, no going back! Once you need another hint, your first hint is gone, and at least one puzzle the hint just doesn’t make any sense. I wouldn’t call anyone “smart” if they don’t use hints. As stated above, some puzzles are impossible without using at least one.

I have played the “Colors” series for a while now and I’m always impressed by the continual creativity put into every puzzle. I always enjoy playing these games as they are challenging, but never impossible. A quick note, level 41 I believe is bugged and the actual answer is not acceptable for some reason. I’m sure you’ll fix it, other than that the game was enjoyable.

The game isn’t that difficult. Most levels are easy, some are moderate, and a couple can be hard.
If you don’t like the music, you can turn it off in the in-game settings.
I did have to use hints on multiple levels, however, unlike most games, they are free.
I beat it in ~15-20 minutes.
The only level I recall disliking was the 4 G R E E N with the arrows in the “G”s, the left and right arrows were easy, it took me little bit longer to get the other 2.
A RESET LEVEL button would be nice to have, instead of quitting and resuming.
My only “complaint” is no Game Center achievement for winning, otherwise I liked it.

Level 22 for me was so frustrating (unable to reach objective on the right after ‘numerous’ tries) stopped there and will delete. (But, again, a clever puzzle game up til then)

Updated after dev response: (increased 2 stars) clearly I’m an idiot! I got trapped in a rut of trying to steer the cactus only to end up on either side, never considering the pattern that got me to the one on the left.

I’m currently at level 38 watching for the patterns to emerge and solve the puzzles. Thank you for taking the time to get me passed 22!

I’ve played all your other color games, and this is the last one :( I love the color series and I love how the things you need to do are very easy yet hard and when I understand it, I get so mad of myself.
Anyways, if your reading this you should play the game and play the others too!

I’ve been playing these since yellow first came out. The puzzles are inventive and sometimes hard to understand, but that’s usually what makes them fun. Green was an exception to this. Regardless of the hints, for the first time, I had to look up a walkthrough. I think these puzzles should be easy enough that hints are all that’s required but I’m not the game developer. Yellow, red, and black were the best ones. I hope you to go back to those basics for the next one. This one simply gave me a headache.

The puzzles are all really creative yet solvable, and they all form a certain logic—some trials and error might be needed to get to the underlying logic, but that’s a part of the fun—just like how you would approach a math problem. The only one I didn’t get (and had to watch a tutorial for) was 47 as I couldn’t see how the cactus resemble the letters... Also enjoyed the dev’s music 🎵

Great game! Make more ASAP! Make purple, white, neon, pink, and whatever other colors there are! These apps are so fun! Are those his apps I have black, red, yellow, blue, green, and sweet dreams, I am addicted to them all I keep starting them all over after I finish them, because I’m addicted! So make more color themed games as soon as you can! Pretty please pretty please!

I have played all the color games and each one is better than the last! I love these so much and I remember when yellow first came out! I was stuck on one level but I posted a review and Bart Bonte HIMSELF replied to tell me the answer!!! I totally and completely recommend this game to all ages! Have fun!!!!!

I used to play these games on Coolmath, and you have continued to make them wonderful for mobile! I’ll just keep this review short but sweet by saying I enjoy how in order to complete the game you can watch no ads for free. This is without hints, but it’s possible to look up walkthroughs for levels. Wanted to keep this short so I can go download Red!

I did some digging in greengame store for a decent pass-time and I stumbled upon this game. I read that this was the most recent of the series and immediately downloaded all of them. They were ALL absolutely beautiful games. The minimalistic style was able to prevail even if the wonderfully crafted puzzles were a bit challenging at times! Awesome games!

(Edit: I saw the developers response between the difference in 14 and 41🤪) I was stuck on that for like 20 minutes because I thought I kept pressing the wrong order before the screen flashed and faded from green. That’s so clever! 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This game was really fun and challenging, I enjoyed that it was complicated. I looked at the reviews that were 1 star and it was just people complaining about it being too difficult, which is no reason to rate this game 1 star. Great game, going to download the rest of this developers games now.

Kept me captivated the whole time, many levels started frustrating but when you found out how it worked it was simply great, the design of the game is very good and I look forward to playing all of the other color games

This is the most creative, enjoyable game that I have ever played. There was so much genius put into this, and it was a pleasure to crack these puzzles. I was extremely impressed, and am now going back to download the previous color games, as well as looking out for the next one!! Thank you!

Though it was a bit challenging it was a great game. If you aren’t looking for a very hard game then I wouldn’t recommend this. Overall it was a great unique puzzle game. Some of the levels are a bit confusing and the hints don’t help much but overall it was great

I LOVE this game, but I think it needs a “restart level” button, especially level 34 because it seems IMPOSSIBLE even with the hints. I have to restart the game and then reopen it, which is ANNOYING. But it still definitely deserves a 5 ⭐️ rating because it’s a great game.

I have been spending some time racing my friend to finish all of the color puzzle games. I have completed red, yellow, and blue, and am now working on green. The issue I’ve run into is that the puzzles in this game are extremely frustrating at points. It is near impossible to solve most of them without using hints. However, my main complaint is level 47. In this level you’re supposed to spell GREEN using cactuses in different shapes, matching the bottom halves to the top halves to make the letters. I have tried every combination I can think of to spell GREEN and none of them work. I have spent half an hour on this. Either your game is bugged or the solution to this puzzle is so difficult and illogical that I can’t even get it by literally trying every combination that could POSSIBLY make the letters for this word. It’s ruined the experience of this game for me.

Look up the solution online. Every other level I got on my own but they’re not super easy which is nice. Was sad when I beat the game. 10/10. I never leave reviews.
