Volume Boost – Sound Amplifier Reviews

Hello there,
this works just as well as it is advertised,
but for the developers I would make a request of having a frequency mixing board to identify specific frequencies to turn up or down to deal with specific sounds in the environment that the software has a hard time catching or for those that have tinnitus.
That would get a 5 star rating from me

Please refund my money. I did not mean to purchase anything from your app. VolumeBoost itself does not boost the volume on earbuds. I don’t have hearing aides. The random pop up that I was trying to get off my screen ended up being some type of purchase request and before I knew it money was taken from my account. Please refund my money. You don’t have to scam people. I’m sure there are others that would have use for your app. But based on the fact that it doesn’t do anything at all, VolumeBoost is not for me. I read someone else’s review. They gave you five stars but still had the same issue as me and were also requesting a refund. I’m sure you guys are nice but I see a pattern of deceptive practices. Good luck with your app. I still want a refund.

Would be a great app if I was deaf. Actually works pretty good. I did the in-app purchase, as I was trying to get my music to work, my headphones turned into hearing aids🤣🤣. For someone that is deaf, I would give this a try if you didn’t want to buy hearing aids. This unfortunately is not what I need. I’ve requested for a refund, I will be deleting VolumeBoost . (5 stars) though it is now what I need, you app could work great for someone who needs this.

So... besides the shady forced purchase this Russian dev is trying to pull, last version actually worked. Now there’s modes each one more useless than the other and you cannot turn off noise suppression as a free user. Very frustrating and confusing because apparently noise suppression is a paid product behind that huge paywall of China.

Now when I try to use VolumeBoost with configuration at 95 dB boost all I hear is bits of audio although the person is right next to my microphone. Noise suppression cannot be disabled as a free user essentially making this a dummy app. Just eating space on your phone.

You have to revert to the last version, you borked it. At least one could hear continuous audio, now it’s useless.

While you’re at it, lose the Russian arm twisting to force on to pay. Make it obvious that you can continue without paying and stop linking every stupid button to the pay wall. Disable buttons that are not available in the free version, don’t clutter up the UI just to make a dishonest buck.

This is highly offensive because deaf people struggle to hear better and coming across VolumeBoost just takes my breath away. The Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act section 255 - User Interfaces. This section requires devices used to receive or display video programming, including devices used to receive and display Internet-based video programming, to be accessible by people with disabilities so that such individuals are able to access all functions of such devices related to video programming (such as turning these devices on and off, controlling volume and select programming)

I did not mean to buy the add on for VolumeBoost. I don’t have much money either so when it charged my card that was bad please refund my purchase. I would really appreciate it. Your app is good for hearing aids I didn’t know that’s what it was for I’m sorry for this inconvenience but please refund my purchase

VolumeBoost is not a volume booster. It does what’s called active listening. It takes audio from the mic in your phone and replays it through your headphones. iPhones have a feature that does this for free. Not to mention they’ll spam you with ads to buy something for 10 dollars a month when Apple offers it for free. Also they’ll hide the “X” button to close the ad. Trying to bait you to click the “continue” button and accidentally make a purchase. Don’t get VolumeBoost it’s basically a scam. If I could rate this a 0/5 I would.

I bought a pair of Soundpetes Sonic earbuds and could barely hear them, I downloaded VolumeBoost used the three day free trial to check it out and my earbuds are much louder and I love it. It would be nice if the price for VolumeBoost service was lower but other than that I’ve got no complaints. Good job

So I got VolumeBoost hopping that it would help boost my speaker for when I’m on the for wheeler. It does not do that. I can’t find a way to cancel my subscription and was hoping u guys could reach me through this. It def is a good app but now what I was looking for. Thank you tho

VolumeBoost is perfect but one suggestion. You should offer premium to those who leave a review and you should get Twitter and Facebook to promote your apps and get more people to buy the premium features and leave more reviews

After the last update, the volume doesn’t boost anymore. It also crashes every time you open VolumeBoost

This isn’t what I was looking for, I thought I could put it next to a source and use as a speaker.

How do I request a refund and/or delete VolumeBoost ?

I can’t figure out if this was a one time charge or reoccurring.

I need a refund VolumeBoost never worked for me I would click to open it and it never opened and I still Got charged that is not ok!!!and since VolumeBoost doesn’t even work I was never able to open so that’s pretty much stealing from someone. Plus I wasn’t aware it was for hearing aids only. Didn’t specify that’s all there for when downloading it so please refund the money u guys stole

This a great app I put my music to low tested it barely could hear it then I turn it on to make and it’s louder

I literally opened VolumeBoost for the first time, was going through the process and as soon as it asks to turn my microphone on (which i hit allow for) it crashed. I reopened VolumeBoost and it crashed again immediately . Then I deleted it and redownloaded it to restart and it crashed again in the same part. 👎👎

Florida app it’s OK I was able to hear sound ringtones for each year made a really balance it out at least to some music and listen to some podcasts and hit you back with a different review.

I did not mean to pay for your app... I’ve not used it, I’m so mad at your disgusting business practices, I don’t know that you can amicably resolves this. Contact me ASAP and let me hear how you propose to make better this “ huge “misunderstanding” that I’m quite sure you’re “very sorry” about. I’m waiting...

This “Free” version of VolumeBoost won’t let you even load the main screen unless you agree to a 3 day trial then auto billing of $10 / month. That’s $120 / year if I forget to cancel before I even know if it’s worth one month.

I need to have VolumeBoost cancelled and for my debit card not to be charged. I didn’t end up needing this after all

You cannot unsubscribe from VolumeBoost from your iPhone subscriptions and then you can’t get in contact with the developer to unsubscribe so they’ll take the money out your account anyway
