After "tapping & connected", the app said like secured connection, but the ip adress didn't change a bit, and, of course, I couldn't access the websites which is easily accessible through other ios free vpns. I'm not really complaining about a bad service coming from free plan, but just pointing out that it is really dangerous and misleading for the customers who thinks they are secured and protected by the "connected vpn". For free vpns, there are so many real vpns available on ios completely free or with ads or up to two-weeks free trials. But, I tried this one because I need a user name and password for setting up in linux, and found out to be misleading & dangerous.

Big heads up with this company. The day you want to cancel they play all kinds of games of cat and mouse asking why you want to cancel, original receipt information, user name, last 4 credit card digit number and then they keep asking you the same questions all over again. If you log in you account from a browser is impossible to find a cancel option. Don’t waste your time and money with this people, to cancel a subscription shouldn’t be so hard to customers.

I wasn't able to sign-in because it stated account already exists. Yet, there is no record of registration. I asked for a password reset and customer service states use "Chrome or Edge browsers" to reset. I registered with Firefox. Just to price they didn't know what they were doing, I installed Chrome and still, it didn't work.
No one uses Chrome or Edge for security! Yet, a VPN company that's about security telling customers to use the most breached browsers?
Finally, they ignored my email to sort out the log-in issue because they just aren't qualified to assist for troubleshooting.
Your customer service is the worst I have dealt with from all VPNs.
Stay away from Privadovpn. If you get locked out, you'll be out of the money you paid.
