The news broke that spring was coming early this year and as a highschool student this is very exciting news to me. we all know that school and cold combo ain’t it. so happy little me wanted a this app on my lock screen til spring so i downloaded Countdown. I made the cutest this app and was ready to slap that baby on my lock screen ONLY TO BE STABBED IN THE BACK BY Countdown TRYNNA CHARGE ME BANDZ ON BANDZ JUST TO SEE THE this app I PUT SWEAT AND TEARS INTO MAKING. y’all are out of ur minds. don’t get Countdown. oh AND ITS REALLY EMBARRASSING YALL HAD TO PUT “Don’t delete Countdown ! give it a second chance.” WHEN I HELD DOWN Countdown TO DELETE IT. EMBARRASSING. O HAVE SECOND HAND EMBARRASSMENT FOR YALL.

Fairly certain this is a scam. It is 100% true Countdown doesn’t do much without becoming “premium.” I promptly went to delete it and was offered a deal of $5 for the first year. So I took the bait. Countdown said for an hr it was updating before I’d have the ability to make a widget show. Hour later it says I need to sign up for Premium in order to do that. I’m still “subscribed” in my Apple Settings so obviously Countdown is just an endless cycle of trying to get you to pay them to get it to work. Shame. It really looks cool.

Spent $20 for the premium version so I could use the widgets. First one I made does not calculate the time properly. I set a this app for a month from now. In Countdown itself it says 5 weeks. On the widget it says 35 weeks. It is no doubt supposed to say 35 days as that is the amount it should be. The date on the widget is correct. But the math it’s doing or displaying is incorrect. Needs fixing before 5 stars for $20.

First of all there are too few options for customization - even for doing things like recognizing a lifetime purchase if you have already started entering timers.
I brought another app that cost less than $20 for lifetime. It synced across devices perfectly and recognized purchases without having to delete and recreate entries made during the trial. The two things missing from that app was the multi timer display widget and the cloud based photos for timers. That was resolved by temporarily downloading an image from the web selecting it in Countdown and then deleting the temp image from iCloud Photos. Until that app adds multiple timers in a single display widget, I can live with that.

With all the other conveniences of the other similar app and much lower lifetime membership is, for now I would be using the other app.

I loved Countdown and let it do the auto subscribe when my free trial was up. I went ahead and cancelled my subscription (after paying) so I wouldn’t forget, and it says it expires in March of 2025. I paid $20. Now it says that I can’t use premium and I would have to buy it again to use it - when I already paid for the year. So I would recommend waiting to cancel it. I knew I would forget and I won’t need it next year. Frustrating because other subscriptions will allow you to use it fully until it expires. I asked Apple for a refund so we’ll see.

If you told me widgets were a premium feature up front I probably wouldn’t have downloaded Countdown . I can’t pay a subscription for every tiny thing on my phone. Not even one free widget? Please be clear in your App Store description about what features are free vs paid. Good design and easy to use but I can’t afford to pay a subscription so Countdown doesn’t meet my needs (widgets).

I downloaded the free trial and liked the product enough to purchase the pro version. I did this because the trial version does not show the elapsed time complete and uses an ellipse (…) after the first character. Upon purchase, the ellipse continues to show. I tried re-downloading Countdown with the same result. Tried contacting the developer, no answer. So I basically paid for a pro app version and have been receiving a trial feature for 2… days (that’s supposed to be 20).

I have two big trips coming up, both have widgets, yet often both widgets show the same trip. I’d love to be able to share with husband, as he is on the same trips, but he has to buy Countdown separately. It is def not worth two subscriptions for the same two trips. A great addition would be to add other “guests” and they could follow along as well.

Ok, before you download Countdown. There is one thing I do not like. You have to PAY to use the widgets. Like what? I downloaded Countdown so I could use a widget, it’s a five star app. So I wasn’t expecting to have to PAY. But the good thing about it is that you can customize the background with your own photos! There’s title ideas you can use, and some other stuff. It’s really cool.

I got TimeCount to keep track of all my exciting events coming up and it’s really easy and saves memory in my brain which I need😉
I would’ve added it as a widget but am not paying all that to just add it as a Widget. That is one thing that I don’t like about Countdown . Other than that, I highly recommend Countdown. I also like how you can change your background to anything you like and seeing the this app and that just makes the this app to the event so much more enjoyable and thrilling! Would recommend!

Pretty good, you can set images as the background for your this app. I have a this app for my trip to AZ going right now. It shows how many days and if you tap on the this app you can see the exact time. Like '1 Month, 27 days, 25 minutes, 40 seconds' or whatever. Which is cool too.

I like it. One thing I don’t understand is the days remaining is a bit inconsistent depending on the view… example… on my Home Screen widget it says 12 days… when I click on the widget it says 11 day. I assume it’s rounding… makes sense. But then when I go into Countdown to see all events it says 13 days?

One wish list item would be the ability to share the event with other app users… family and friends.

I’m currently a nursing school student, and as silly at it may seem, Countdown is really beneficial for keeping good morale so that I know when each semester ends and how many days till graduation. I also love it for exam dates, it’s nice to see how many days I have left to prepare. Overall 4/5 star rating as you have to pay to be able to use these widgets portion of Countdown .

Countdown would have been better if you didn’t have to pay for a subscription for most of the options . Overall other than that it is a great app it has great features and it is very handy . I hope others think the same because to me Countdown is great .

I think this genuinely is well set up and the design is very sleek. It would be nice if you didn’t need the premium to create a widget but everyone’s got to make money somehow 🤷🏻‍♀️. I personally would love if they offered an option of how you wanted to measure the time (ex. minutes and seconds only), but I think it functions well as it is!

i love Countdown! keeps all my countdowns ready to go!
the only thing i don’t like is you can’t edit the photos outta your camera roll to make them fit for the backround of the this app.
ex.- i made a 1 yr anniversary for my bf and i and i can’t put a picture of him and i cause it won’t fit because it won’t let me edit it.

I’ve been looking for an app like this, that has the ability to keep track of time SINCE a specific date. Most other apps are only countdowns to an event or they are directed towards marriage anniversary’s or dating. I love that Countdown has an extensive photo gallery for backgrounds also.

Only thing that’s missing is widget capability. I’d love to be able to see my time tracker as a widget on my Home Screen!!

This works perfectly for my needs. I only need it for a single time that is out by a few hundred days. But I have not really looked into the depths of what I can do for free.
I have however found an issue with it. Sometimes the this app in the widget will become unsynced with that of Countdown .
For instance right now Countdown says 221 days, but the widget says 14. This is the first time I have seen it, and hope it is fixed. But this is my only complaint.

I used Countdown to keep a this app of the time until my husband returned from his deployment. It was easy to edit and I like how clean the design/layout looks. I also like how it breaks the time up into different measurements. Would recommend!

I like Countdown a lot, just frustrated over the ads coming up the very moment you open it and then they won’t go away even tho you hit the ‘x’ a bunch of times. I have to put phone on airplane mode just to see my this app events.

It’s a pretty good app, and does exactly what it says. Only thing is that I feel a bit misled on the whole widget thing. You have to pay extra for it, even though that’s the whole reason I found it. That being said it’s still a good app, just a bit misleading on that part.

Countdown does exactly as you expect it to. However, in order to use the features to the fullest extent you have to pay a monthly or yearly subscription. I'm all for developers needing to be paid, but this subscription craziness is out of control.

Countdown is efficient with keeping track of my day to day schedule, especially in regard to important tasks. However, the only problem I seem to be having is, when I open Countdown it has a tendency of backing out constantly. Overall, Countdown is great but just the loading of Countdown is trouble.

Most apps like this make you pay to use it. You can still use Countdown without having to worry about paying. There is a premium subscription but you can still use Countdown without having it. You can also skip the ads because they pop up a lot.

This is the only timer/ calendar I will ever need, you can plan anything from the years until you can move out of your parent’s house to the days until your favorite anime releases. I highly recommend using Countdown to keep your life organized 😋

I’ve tried several counting apps but didn’t like the interface or general appearance. At first I though you could only count down to an event until I played with the calendar and found that you can count days since.

It’s true: totally ad free awesome features, flexible settings for reminders, even tracks “days since” once an event passes. Never thought that would be useful but I have grown to live that unexpected benefit👀

I honestly will never need another this app app. Countdown has so many amazing features!! my favorite being that you can customize the notification message you get from Countdown . The best part about Countdown is the cool features are all free. you literally do not have to pay for most of the features.. the ones you have to pay for are bonuses that you don’t absolutely need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Countdown, DOWNLOAD.. you won’t regret!!!

This is a perfect app if you love to keep track of all your exciting adventures you will go on like your birthday, holiday or even vacations! You can set up on Countdown to get notifications on that day you can even set up the time on when you are going or when ever you want that notification to pop up on your phone when you have what ever special day that you are planning on having! All I want to say is you should get Countdown and rate it 5 stars if you do you get a special reward in Countdown so make sure to rate 5 stars on Countdown!!!!

Countdown is great and has soo many features. It even gives you options to pick your own backgrounds. I have no complaints. The only thing I think could be a game changer is if they gave you an option to customize the font and color.

I like Countdown, you can do as many this app dates as you’d like, and I love that you can add it as a widget so that when you open your phone, it’s the first thing you see. Especially if you need a reminder. It’s also cool seeing the time go down by the second or day when something is upcoming. I recommend downloading Countdown %100 !! 😊

DO NOT GET Countdown Nah I’m jk so back to the point get Countdown because it keeps track of time until you birthday, flights and keeping track of how many hours that you’ve used your device!(the device thing is screen time lol😜)
This even counts the minutes to seconds!!!
That’s why this is better than calendar (no offense to google and apple.)

I love you so so much. It helps me track of stuff that I forget like my birthday cause I didn’t want to say this, but it’s actually Selena Gomez. I always forget when my birthday is I don’t know when my birthday is I wish to get like this and I always you know like remember and come home late at night and then when I just remember, and then I were like or anything and then Countdown helped mea lot

I set this up to this app an event. I loved being able to customize the backdrop and other general features. I just don’t have anymore need for Countdown so I’m freeing up space on my phone. If I had things I was regularly counting down to this seems to be a great app.

It’s a good app to keep track only thing is I can’t put the displayed on my phone to show idk if u have to pay for it but I would like if tht was the only one free seeing as graduations coming up I would like to be reminded & my birthday on may 5

I truly love Countdown! I love that it gives you notifications when something is either close or on the day of. I would totally recommend!

So many choices of back grounds and you can search for backgrounds that go with your this app. You can also change the brightness of the background picture. Easy and quick to setup.

the only way i can have my widget on my lock screen is if i get the premium, im not paying 20 dollars a year just to see when my event is coming up. In all the widget should be free! (I only rated it 5 stars because it said i might get a surprise)

Great App! Does what it’s supposed to do and then some! I got Countdown because I’m a basketball coach and I was looking for a this app app for each game. I like that I’m able to add images to each this app, so I put the other teams mascot.

It’s an amazing app. It’s so pretty and helps me keep track! I wish I had premium but it’s also pretty easy to use without it! Oh, and did I mention it’s really cute??? if you customize it well enough, you can make it so aesthetically pleasing!! 100% recommend!!!’

Unlike many apps, the free one still lets me do several things like organize by what I want to see first and put a widget on my Home Screen. The paid features are nice, but the free still works fine.

Love Countdown so much, I love customizing my countdowns and how easy it is to add more. Also i love that you can display them on your lock screen or home screen. Only thing i dislike is how limited you are unless you pay for the things in Countdown .

I’m impressed and it’s quite easy to do unlike other apps who make you pay to have more than one reminder, definitely love it!

I just started using Countdown so far so good. Love the fact there is a count down and they remind you too like it makes me feel so happy and make my life easier

If you enjoy being an organized person and have everything ready for you, this is a good app to have for your future trips

I just downloaded but so far it’s pretty good. I used another this app that I loved, but can’t find it. This one is pretty close to that one. I’ve had a few and the original was my fave but this is a close second.

I think this is a great app and it’s super easy to use. I just clicked on the + button on the middle bottom. And then I made a name for my vacation or event, set the date ,and picked a background and it was all set. You can also add this to your widgets on your Lock Screen.

I have been a faithful user of another time recording App and seriously I am impressed with this one. It is so easy to use and I love how you can add personal pictures. The best part is that it’s free! It was by “since” and “until”, so it’s perfect for tracking your habit breaking progress and how many days till Christmas! Very pleased.
