Big Clock - Pro Time Widgets Reviews

Seems great so far, but sometimes I don’t want to the second counting and there is not an option for that. If I’m forced to give it a rating for my purposes right now, other than the seconds issue, I would give it a 4-5. I’ll give a 5 just because the
Developer doesn’t deserve a bad review. However, again, it was annoying to be asked for a review every couple minutes or so, and it blocked BigClock . So give people a chance and don’t have that pop up so often. It honestly annoying. However, BigClock has great potential otherwise!!!

One of the best I’ve found for displaying hours, minutes, and seconds on a 2x2 widget. Only drawback is that it seems to have trouble displaying 12:xx:yy — sometimes it works but usually it leaves off the hours and just shows the xx:yy (or sometimes “1…”). I sent a message to the developer with screen shots, and received a reply that they would be looking into it. If they can fix it I will give them the 5 stars it otherwise deserves. (Note: This bug doesn’t seem to exist in the excellent full-screen display.)

I like everything about BigClock, but on the home screen widget it is stuck in the 24 hour format. It shows the 12 hour format on full screen, I tried reinstalling app but widget is still in 24 hour format. If I could get 12 hour format on my home screen widget I will change to a 5star rating. Thanks!

Today was my first day using BigClock. I believe I’ve seen a dialogue asking for a review for different times. The last time was when I was using it today so I could see from the shower what time it was so I knew how quickly I needed to get ready. No sooner had I gotten in the shower than words came up blocking the complete time. When I got out of the shower I saw that the words were another dialogue asking for review. So here’s my review it’s a great app but it defeats the purpose of being able to see the time by repeatedly being asked to leave a review.

Might be nice. But the first time I’m trying to us it, pop ups demanding this review keep blocking the clock. That means I have to constantly interrupt what I’m timing to dismiss the pop up, only to have it cover the clock again moments later. Might have left a better review if I could actually use it without interruption. Lighten up on the review-begging. Let me try it first. If the pop ups continue, I will have to delete it as worthless.

Have lots of clock apps, but this is one of my new favorites. Clean simple look with just the right amount of information. You choose as much or little that you want in your display with a simplified selection system. No adds plus a great little widget is included.

Great app to see what the time is across the room. writing a review resolves the 5 minute pop-up that obscures 50 percent of the viewing screen. Great app works perfectly. Need to move on to “pro” edition to customize fonts. Thanks!

At least let me use BigClock more than a minute before bugging me to death for a good review. I will give you a good review when I have seen enough of your app to give an honest review. If you keep bugging me I will just delete BigClock .
You started the review request again less than a minute after giving the last review. You would have a great app if you would just let us use it. I am going to delete BigClock and wait for your next update before trying to use again.

Better than thought it would be. Modifying the in-app appearance to change the widget is a clever way to not have 1000 widgets cluttering up your section. It is a bit too plain for my liking though—I'd like it to look a bit more modern, or elegant, or … who knows. It just needs a lil -something- to look nicer.

I would love if there were an option to change the font the clock or calendar appears in.

It’s a clock that does what it’s supposed to do. I would’ve given it five stars but a nag screen keeps telling you to please write a review — which gets pretty annoying. You can’t say no without getting reminded later. So, I’m writing this review in hopes that I don’t see those any longer.

Get BigClock if you want a box over the screen all the time that wants a review.

No, I just opened BigClock . Give me a second.

Changed the color of the background: want to review?
No, I just found one color.

Every color change thereafter: want to review?
No, I want to see my color options.

Tried it for the night as a nightstand clock. Every time I looked at the clock: want to review?

Okay, here’s the review: if your clock adds value to my life, is easy to use, clean, has backgrounds I want... I am happy to leave you reviews.

But if you just want reviews regardless of the quality of BigClock ... then here’s your review.

One star. Useless. I can’t see the time... ever.
Deleting app.

BigClock changes on a daily basis from showing the hour and minutes to showing minutes and seconds. Rather irritating but it is the best one I have found so far.

It’s difficult to select the color you want. A pallet would be better. It would also be better if the color was the same across the screen instead of fading. It’s hard to make the screen dark.

Another decent app marred by the developer's insatiable appetite for good reviews—showing up with a beg screen every 2 minutes.
You are better than this, and you really should fix this. If I can't read the time from across the room because of your incessant insecurity, I might as well remove Big Clock from my phone.

BigClock is very annoying and will be deleted. I set it up as my clock tonight and every time I looked at it there was a banner blocking the time and asking me if I wanted to leave a review and since it’s almost 12:00 I clicked “later”. 5 minutes later the banner was back and I hit later and 5 minutes later it was back again. I guess I’ll go back to my old clock app as I’d like to get some sleep.

Love having a big clock face that I can dim and select colors for. Hopefully the request for a review will stop popping up now that I’ve given one. 😬 Otherwise, I will be much less happy with it.

Quite pleased, particularly by the 24hr and color change options. 5 stars for BigClock and the developer who answered a question within a day.

Fantastic for weight lifting, you can easily see the rest interval time far away. Best and simplest clock app I have seen to date.

Basic functions work well. Limited color options. Is well done for basic functionality. 👍

I have to use a timer in my sound therapy practice and BigClock works great. It’s easy to see from across the room.

Would like some additional control over the display but it works as describe. Changing the fonts used for the date and control colors more would be nice.

I love having the clock widget. I wish it were easier to turn off the seconds counter. Still haven’t figured it out. Not the worse issue, but I’d like to resolve it.

I don’t understand how a developer can make a simple clock widget confusing, but this guy managed to do it. I upgraded the widget to “Pro” in order to rid the clock of that annoying moving seconds display, but the result was no different from before. Also, the default for the ticking sound should be OFF, not ON. Yikes.

The Home Screen widget didn’t change with the time change. When you open the widget the clock did change. Other then that love BigClock.
