The whole point of a metronome is to be like KAMALA: keep the beat and keep it strong! This stupid thing slows down and speeds up when you move your arm, and it doesn’t even tap hard enough to feel when you’re moving your hand around, which basically means any instrument that uses your left hand obviates feeling the beat. This was a great idea, but the execution is a complete failure.
Also, go eat a bag of chicks for subscriptionware! 🤬 If this actually did what it promises to do, I would happily pay you $.99 for it, but you’re just insulting the customers by demanding a constant tithe.

I tried this app a while back and it didn’t work for me. Trying it today I still cannot adjust the tempo. On the tempo number in the middle of the phone screen it’s locked at 60 bpm. On the Apple Watch when attempting to adjust the tempo (still 60 bpm) via the crown it brings up the pricing for the app. I can initiate the tempo on both the phone and watch but neither will respond to anything else. Seems broken behind a pay wall.

As soon as you turn your wrist away from your body the watch goes to sleep and the haptik metronome stops. On older iPhones there is no option to keep watch always awake.
Unless you plan on using this while your watch face is continually pointed at your face it will not work. This kind of ruins the entire convenience of having the metronome on your watch.
