Worked amazingly for the first few months and now it has stopped working. I’m a lifetime member and I don’t know what to do.

FocusLock is not working properly. I can’t start the lock. I can’t program or edit it. Buttons are not responding when I click on them.

This was really helping me, but it’s no longer working. I’m honestly very sad about it because it’s the only thing I’ve found to really help me stay focused outside of my phone.

FocusLock is fully updated, the settings are correct in my phone, and my usual process of deleting and redownloading FocusLock is no longer working either. Very frustrating to pay for an app that doesn’t even work. Heads up to anyone that is considering buying the annual or lifetime fee, I can’t even find a customer service email online.

I’ve been using this app to block apps during my 8-hour workday, but while the focus lock starts, it doesn’t actually block any apps. Per other responses to reviews, the Team says reach out for support, using the in-app support (which the bugs prevent) or email them (which I did six months ago with no response). It’s frustrating to encounter the same issues with no real help. FocusLock has potential, but the bugs and poor support make it hard to recommend.

It’s stupid that you have to pay to use this. Its gives you 3 free uses and after that you have to do a subscription.

When I first bought it , was able to lock myself out without any access.
Now the New version is connected to screen time , so if I won’t to open up apps before desired time , just go to settings and unlock, can not see the point of buying FocusLock

I paid the $100 for a lifetime subscription only for FocusLock to stop working shortly afterward. I contacted support who said they couldn’t find my email listed as being subscribed (lol) and when I sent several follow up emails, I never heard back. FocusLock started working again, inconsistently; today it has decided not to work, and I’m at a loss for what to do as I am now out $100 to an app that lacks competent tech support. I cannot recommend FocusLock to anyone. Based on other reviews, which I deeply regret not reading prior to purchasing, other users are having the same issues.

I tried to figure out how to use focus lock on my iPad and MacBook since I have an account and there is a download for IOS also. No info in Help section, and I contacted Customer support twice, no reply. It’s an expensive subscription for that.

If you try blocking apps on Flipd, you can easily turn it off in setting and have access to the blocked apps again. Why can’t apple allow FULL BLOCKING - where you cannot cancel the block. Something tells me it’s because Apple wants us all hooked.

FocusLock worked well at first but now with the new iOS update; FocusLock is not locking properly. It’s either not locking at all (but the timer is going) or the timer will be up and the apps are still locked with no way to unlock.

FIX THIS

I regret buying FocusLock. The concept is great but half the time it doesn’t work. Very buggy. No support.

I have premium and have been using FocusLock on off for a few years recently I noticed it no longer locks app just turns on the timer in FocusLock . In fact I am literally writing this review while I am supposedly locked is this a bug or is FocusLock no longer supported with upgraded iOS? The

It’s actually great for blocking apps. But it has so many bugs and glitches that it is more frustrating. I can’t add any extra apps or it freezes. I can’t start the lock unless I do it from the first session I created. So disappointing to pay for this and then have this many problems.

I can’t figure it out or how to delete one to make another!

I was hoping I could block out certain hours on particular days of the week. Too bad I paid the subscription fee to find that out

Overall FocusLock is nice to help keep you focused and force you to not use apps that would otherwise distract you. My only big annoyances with FocusLock, are the fact that you have to pay a subscription after the first three uses and that when you try to set which apps you want white listed or black listed it will often glitch out and not save them (plus your limited to 50 apps, this includes basic ones such as messages, photos, App Store, maps, etc.)

Overall I LOVE FocusLock. Huge game changer for me. Recently however I’ve been having an issue where I set a lock and it just… doesn’t work. I’ve had to delete and redownload and that will work for a couple days and then I have to start all over again. Really hope this gets fixed because I love this product

I will reclaim my life with this. I believe we ALL need FocusLock in our lives. Eliminate distractions and reclaim your lives. Control the tech, don’t let the tech control YOU!

I tested out multiple apps for trying to reduce time on distracting and addictive apps like Instagram and even Reddit. Focus Lock works great and is hard to bypass. Simple UI too. Highly recommend

like a coach it forced you to do the work because you don’t have anything else to do😅
