This games first red flag comes from the graphics being nothing like the advertising which is 1: lazy 2: makes no sense as you would think if they went through the effort of making an ad with that much detail it couldn’t be that hard to make the game look appealing but then again I think this might be a rip of of another game so who knows. While playing I was getting annoyed by the ads because the beginning levels were so easy that I was spending more time on the ads then the levels. Maybe it would be different for harder levels. That would be if the game would let me get to the harder levels. When I got to level 8 which wasn’t that much different than the others but for some reason after 3 plays the game bugs out and doesn’t let me move. It’s not like it’s a limited turns deal the game just doesn’t let me move the selected ball for some reason. It think I’m selecting a different one or something and I might be able to figure it out but with all the other inconvenience in then game I couldn’t be bothered. DONT PLAY THIS GAME IT IS TERRIBLE. If your reading this developer just know you need to put more effort in this kinda laziness won’t slide in the real world outside your moms basement when you get kicked out for not being able to pay $100 rent because nobody is spending money on your stupid game. Do better.

There is an ad after every level, as well as ads every time you refresh the puzzle you’re working on. The skip button and exit button on the ads are both fake, even though they show up on the screen touching them does not work and you need to sit there and wait until they just close or they will redirect you to BallSortPuzzle Store anyways even if you are just trying to skip the ads. I hate apps with these predatory, fake skip ad buttons and absolutely do not support them.

I’m all for giving the creators a way to make money on a free game, but $3 to get rid of the INSANE amount of ads, without any other kind of benefit (like maybe custom ball colors or something with your purchase) is just too much. Getting rid of ads either needs to be $1 by itself or needs to include other content to make it worth $3.

I also hate how you really never get as many tubes as you see in the advertisements for this game or the water sort game. But I guess this game is just for making money and not really for fun.

I get addicted to playing this game. I don’t understand why others complain about the mystery ball levels… there aren’t very many of them and it makes the game more challenging. I play this almost every day and feel like I’m using my brain to figure out the puzzle. I also appreciate having the options to undo a move or start a level over from the beginning.

The only thing I don’t like or understand is the scoring. It seems very arbitrary and doesn’t seem to match how you play the game. I could get a perfect game (no undos, no start overs) and I get 30% score. I have intentionally moved the balls all over the board to increase my moves, redo, undo, etc. and I get 100%? Makes no sense. I just ignore the scores now and would rather have no scoring at all.

The game is fun and well made, but there are simply too many ads to give it four or five stars.
At first it was just an ad between each game, which was fine with me, but eventually these ads started popping up in the middle of my game. The would be an ad interrupting my game every time I played as well as ads between games. Normally I don’t have a problem with ads because it gives the developers profit the need and/or deserve, especially if the game is good. But this is just too many ads. I am not sure if anyone else is having this many ads, but I am not able to play a full game without one popping up. Another problem is that these ads consistently freeze and force me to close and reopen my game losing my progress. If you are willing to deal with these problems, or if you are able to buy the game with no ads, then go ahead and have fun. It just isn’t working out for me.

When I first got this game I couldn’t put it down! I gig my husband and kids playing it too! Hubby and I would compete. This was my favorite game. Strategizing. Critical thinking. Plotting and planning each move. What an awesome way to exercise one’s mind. I would have given 5+ stars if I could.

But now… yeah, no. This last update brought an end to EVERYTHING! The first time I opened the game after the update, I actually restarted my phone and deleted then reinstalled BallSortPuzzle . I thought my phone was acting up. This seems to now be a “mystery” game. A game of chance. No more strategy. No more planning. Only the top balls are visible. The bottom 3 balls are all gray with a question mark. What the what?!?! What do y’all want me to do with this?! I’ve checked back a couple of times, just to check and see if all is back to normal. But that’s a big, “NEGATIVE”. So, I might be deleting this. Please consider going back to the format that we all loved. Please and thank you….

This game started out okay...moderately fun, but easy as most games are at beginning...and surprise surprise...no ads except a banner ad at the bottom. Then at On my way! random level, a pop-up box asked me if I wanted to continue with ads or purchase ad-free version. I did not answer either; just closed the box....and the onslaught began. The game was functioning well prior to ads, but when ads began, the game began to freeze up and screen would disappear and not come back. Ads would not close. When the game was playing, the balls would freeze mid-air and not move. I do not need these headaches...when a game does not work or the ads are intrusive or disruptive, I am done.
This game has been deleted. And do not respond about how sorry you are that I was having problems, but that ads keep the game free. I have heard this a million times...do not need a refresher course on why ads are used....I already know. Just start using them responsibly and make sure they function properly.

I love this game! I just got it, and I’ve been playing for about a day or two, and I’m absolutely addicted!!!

Although there are a lot of ads (one after every level to be exact) it’s sooo worth watching them! However there is an option to remove ads by paying, like, a dollar, but I don’t think that’s necessary. The ads are mostly short, and there is no harm in giving the creators some money.

I think the satisfaction of having the power to sort all of the balls with just a tap and another tap, and the satisfaction of finishing the level is very rewarding. I’m sure this game makes you smarter or something, because you’re sorting, it’s like a brain game (this is awesome because my mom lets me play brain games on my phone whenever I want, as long as she hasn’t asked me to do anything else.) I mean, if you want an addictive game to pass the time, that has brain training qualities, Ball Sort Puzzel is certainly the way to go!!!

So I went a LONG time avoiding paying for BallSortPuzzle , but after a while I figured I’d gotten the meager $2.99 worth of play out of it, so I did my civic duty (or whatever) to be able to play ad-free…

…when what to my wondering eye should appear but ads when I use 5 undos EVER—not just one level, but after every 5 undos, I have to watch a video ANYWAY. That is, if I use 4 undos on one level, the next undo I use—regardless of whether it’s the same level—I still have to watch an ad. On the “free” version, at least if I restarted the level, I got my undos back. I’ve been forced to watch MORE FULL ads AFTER having purchased than I ever did before.

I’ve paid for BallSortPuzzle . Remove all the ads for purchased users. Then we can talk about fixing this rating. Seriously, it’s an addicting game and I really do enjoy it, but being punished by these long-form ads because the undos don’t reset is beyond unreasonable.

The NO ADS they REALLY mean is that you don’t get an ad between games/levels and you don’t get a banner ad at the bottom of your screen. But you DO get ads every time you ask for 5 more “un-do’s” or an extra tube. And a LOT of the time those are 30 second ads! So what they REALLY mean is for your $2.99 for NO ADS is you really get LESS ADS. I’m at Level 1317 so I’ve seen a LOT of ads after paying for NO ADS!!! There are some games you can breeze thru and not need the back-up or new tube options, and there are games you can NOT solve without them. And every time an ad comes up, I grit my teeth and laugh about the money I paid for NO ADS. I think I’ll be deleting this game now and calling it quits. Next time I’ll be more careful and read the comments and see what the developer’s definition of NO ADS is before allowing myself to be robbed of any more money. I would be totally fine if they had been honest and said FEWER ads. But NO ADS???? NO WAY!!!

This game is SO entertaining! Not only is it satisfying, it helps me when I’m stressed or upset. There aren’t even that many ads either, normally you’ll get a short 15 second ad after 2 or 3 levels. The ads I get are interactive and aren’t boring to sit through. I love the mystery balls which you can only unlock by moving the ball on-top of it. Overall I would highly recommend this game. It’s super fun to play when you don’t have internet and the ads aren’t overkill at all. I have a ton of other fun games on my device but this one I play all the time. I checked my screen time on it and my playtime is 3 hours and 53 minutes. I promise this game will keep you entertained. Love love love it! - Emma :)

Problem is though, there are many many lengthy ads. I purchased the ad block for a couple dollars. It stopped the ads between games, but if you need another flask, the ad is about 2 min long. (Or so, it seems a lot longer) Also, I was having problems getting the flask icon to give me a new flask. I’d sit through the long ads and when I could finally get back to my game, I’d find myself in the same place without a new flask. This happened over and over again, so I deleted from my phone but not the cloud, and reinstalled the program. I had been on level 367 and found myself starting over again, and still having the same problem of not getting a new flask. I haven’t found a way to contact anyone to report this issue. I’m on my last straw. It’s too bad because I love playing this game.

I’m really enjoying this game, plus it makes you think! Realizing it was well worth it, I paid the $2.99 to get rid of the ads that showed after every level. You need to be able to plan ahead to decide which balls to move. In case you make mistakes, you get 5 free “undo” chances and, as far as I know, unlimited additional 5 undo’s for watching an ad. I just started a few days ago, and am up to level 60. My only problem is how hard it is to stop playing! I do wish I could find instructions somewhere; I’d like to completely understand the percentage rating you get when you solve the level. Thanks to the makers for a great game!

So first off, only one of the pictures in BallSortPuzzle description is actually what the game looks like 😂

Next, this update makes the game MUCH harder. For me, it’s not enjoyable anymore. The update has made it so that you can only see the top ball in each tube (unless you’ve previously moved it). This is even for early levels. What I liked about the game was that you had to analyze where everything is and then figure out your best move. Now it’s 100% guess and check and hope you remember where everything is placed. It takes the strategy out of the game. I think it can be fun for some types of players, but now the game is unplayable for me. I wish it was something you could toggle on and off so players who like it can play with it and players who don’t can still enjoy their game.

Lastly, the “feedback” button in BallSortPuzzle no longer works 🤔 I wonder why.

I love this game, but it changed format on me randomly today with no warning. I think it was with an update because the tab on BallSortPuzzle changed too.

Basically, you used to be able to see all the colors. Now, everything below the row you can play is gray with a ‘?’ mark. (Kind of like Solitaire). This is a fine option, but I wish there would have been a warning. Now it feels like a game of chance instead of strategy, and that’s very frustrating. For future versions, it might be helpful to provide people with a choice as to whether they want to play the ‘mystery version’ or the old (?) version where you can see every ball’s color.

Additionally, some of the ads are wholly inappropriate. At times this occurs in NSFW ads and other times it is related to violence depicted (and blood even shown) with little to no advance notice of the types of images the player is about to see. (and when I say ‘little’, I mean there are sexual images of females already on the screen when it says ‘NSFW’. That’s not a warning, that’s a title.)

Now let me be clear, I have no problem with having an ad experience in and of itself. But I do object to not being able to have the option to mark something that I do not enjoy seeing, especially when those things are inappropriate.

I will be deleting this game.

This ball sort game issssss fun. Having to think multiple moves ahead to avoid getting stuck can be challenging. And the ability to restart or undo moves is helpful

But.....
Watching waaaay toooo long samples of other mindless games is beyond annoying. Everything you want to do requires wasting time watching these that you cannot over ride. So I spent the money and bought the “no ad” version. And guess what???? Except for leveling up...STILL ADS!!!! Totally false claim in BallSortPuzzle . POBB.

And as you play (after enduring yet another mind numbing game sample) or if you choose to watch the mindless samples over and over, you get coins that you can use to get different backgrounds, types of balls to sort, types of tubes (which are not all that great-by using in game coins at least it’s not real money). Now that I’ve gotten all of the options there is nothing left to get in BallSortPuzzle .

The game is addictive and the game is a way to pass quarantine time. Which is why I gave it a two. Would be higher except for the brain cell sapping game ads (the music with the samples makes me cringe. Have volume off it’s that annoying.) Would be higher IF there were less ads in general and more specifically if my purchase got rid of them totally. If you download this don’t waste your money for the no ad version. Cause there is no such thing. Good luck!!

Very engaging and challenging game with both game reset (start over) and undo (one move back) options. However, the ads are excessively long. Advertisement is an understandable component of free games, but the amount and length in this game is unreasonable and excessive, especially considering the competition. I mean 30 seconds is what it says, but the 30 seconds is broken down into 3x 10 second portions that will not continue unless the player hits “next”. In most ads, there is a 5-10 second pause before and after the 30 second count down, which adds it up to about 45 seconds. Many other ads start a second part after the 30-second ad. I am not going to play it for this exact reason!

Have been enjoying this game... It's both challenging and relaxing... but I've been stuck on Level 105 for a while no matter what I do... and that's frustrating, which takes away the most important benefit - relaxation...

It would be great if you would add some help tools, such as "hints" or "skip this level for now" or "assistant" or "reveal next play" or "shuffle balls" or "?" Perhaps incorporate a way to collect points that, when needed, can be used to "buy" these various new helps options? (When I go to Levels, it only lets me click on prior levels, but not on the next one). Am guessing this is a new app and "bugs" will be fixed and improvements will come along as it matures... Thank you...

I love this game. I’m already on level 361. But, the videos to get an extra tube and for the “Free Gift” have stopped working. Why? I’ll change my rating when this is fixed. Also there is an appalling lack of instructions in regards to how anything like rolling the die for backgrounds, free gifts, Gift Boxes, etc work.

I AM IMPRESSED! I wrote the above review in the early evening, watched a movie and then tried the game again and it was working. Either it was a glitch in the game or very rapid response by the developer. I paid for ad free very early on because I love this game so much. So, an occasional ad to get that extra tube is ok. I’m already past level 400.

This is a fun and thoughtful game in which I was quickly addicted. The kind of game you say to yourself, “I’ll just play one more level,” but that was five levels ago and I still want to play just one more level! The only thing I find a little frustrating is the lack of information concerning levels of difficulty. Does it get more difficult as you go along, or is there some magic button I’ve not located to change the degree of difficulty? Too, for what are all the coins I’ve collected? Guess I’d like a bit more info. I did pay the big bucks for no ads and have no complaints for doing that. Game play is 100% more fun without 30 second ads popping up at every level. That was overkill to say the least. Anyway, I’m a fan...good game.

I simply do not understand the poor reviews. This is an awesome game. Yes, there is an ad in between levels. Paying $2.99 for the privilege to use a game to remove those ads AND where there are no further game charges is awesome and unheard of. I’m sorry for the little kids who think that once you pay to have the ads removed that you don’t have to ever watch another ad to get a BONUS. That’s just silly. You are supposed to be able to beat the game with the amount of tubes that you have. If you need to cheat and get an additional tube, then you need to watch an ad. Otherwise where is the challenge? It’s no longer a game.

The puzzles were wonderfully addictive and were the perfect game to play when I had a spare moment. However, with ads (I did not purchase the no ads feature) my phone would: overheat to the point of becoming too hot to touch, become slow to the point of a 5-20 second delay when completing puzzles, or in a few cases freeze my phone. Sometimes this also caused my phone to forcibly shut off, either because it was frozen or too hot. I understand that all of that could probably be avoided if i had spent the 2 dollars to get rid of the ads but the game become unplayable, which is the point. Sure ads are annoying but having them should not negatively impact gameplay to the point where the device itself doesn’t function and the game is unplayable.

I LOVE the game, but I am VERY upset with the last update. I paid for no ads, but still had to watch the occasional ad to get an extra tube. Fine. But now I watch an ad and get a tube only big enough for 1 ball?!?! Then another ad for one more ball? So now I have to watch 3 ads to get a tube big enough to put 3 balls in, when before I only had to watch 1. Did I mention I have already paid for no ads?!? But I am accumulating coins like crazy, because I have already bought everything available. So there is nothing for me to spend it on. So I have 80,000 coins, have paid for no ads, and still have to watch 3 ads to get a useful tube. NOT HAPPY. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1 is because the game itself is very enjoyable.

Absolutely love it 10/10 even with ads, they aren’t that bad maybe one every couple levels which when you’re in the two hundreds and there’s 14 tubes to sort, it takes plenty long enough to finish those two levels to be worth it and I’m sure that even if I paid for no ads, I’d still have to watch them for extra tubes when wanted. But especially when you get to fifteen if you add a section it gets too small on my phone, and I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible to add a horizontal option. But I still can’t stop playing it… 🤣🥰

Full honesty, this is the first review I’ve ever written, but it is so annoying I had to say something. The game is a great way to kill time if you’re waiting for something. But the adds are just dreadful. There is an add after almost every level, and after every time you restart a level. And the adds aren’t just pages you can click out of, you have to watch them for at least 15 seconds (sometimes more). Also, the adds aren’t for anything useful that you could buy (like clothes or gear), they’re for other games the company makes. Some of the games they advertise are the exact same game you’re playing but with a different look (like underwater ball sort). Also, every 4-5 levels it asks you to rate the game, even when you repeatedly click ‘NO’.

The game itself is pretty good. Sort the balls into tubes, and the difficulty of doing so gradually increases.
Where I gave it one star lies in its ridiculous ad placement. I can’t do anything in the game without running into a 30 second ad that has a billion “skip” buttons I need to press. One or two of them per day, when I played it, was ok. But as I played it more I noticed the game put an ad whenever I wanted to restart a level, move onto a different level, or really do anything else. I stopped playing because I was so focused on solving a puzzle and then would get violently ripped out of that concentration by one, two or even three ads. And no, I will not pay the developer actual money to get rid of the ads. Because that would allow for this scam to continue. It doesn’t take a genius to make a ball sort game, and it also doesn’t take a genius to realize that people don’t like ads. But coupled with a sort game and lots of ads, and an option to PAY to get rid of them, the developer has two sources, not one, of income: the ad revenue which is quantifiably higher with the ridiculous amount of ads I come across within a few short minutes, and the poor fools who payed into the scam to get rid of them.
I refuse to be a party to this. There are plenty of other “sorting” or “puzzle” games out there.

I was enjoying this game so much that I paid for the “no ads” feature. It worked for a short time, no more than a week or two. I noticed when I paid for “no ads” that no time frame was given, but hoped that it would be like other, honest games and would last for as long as I kept the game. All of a sudden, I started getting ads right in the middle of the game. The makers of this game are hard to reach and unresponsive when finally contacted. I feel scammed and can no longer enjoy this game. I’m going to complain to Apple to see if I can get my money back.

I tried this game again years later. This time, I let it show the annoying ads. Now, however, it looks to me like they’re insisting on using my personal information to please their ad companies. I don’t want them to have access to my personal information, and much less do I want them to share it, so I’m going to delete this game again. There are plenty of others out there.
