Downloaded the new app to find that advertisements take up most of the home screen. And when trying to Zoom in to identify specific locations of interest (home, work, etc) full page ads popped up. When setting up notifications to receive for locations, the whole thing froze; no way to go forwards or backwards. Waited and it would not unfreeze. Was unable to view anything else this might have to offer. Had such high hopes for this overly-totted weather app — Uninstalled.
Note to WISH-TV and weather app developers, when severe weather is in the area it is imperative that we see what is happening NOW, your pop up ads are risking the lives of the people you are trying to protect. Are our lives really worth any delay in being forced to X out of your money making scheme?

Come on WISH TV you guys are my go to for weather. However the new weather app feels like a step backwards. It’s missing some of the features I like on the old app. I wish you would not have done the update. Bring back the old app or at least make all the features from the old app available. Nothing like trying to find another weather app. I ended up downloading a weather app from another Indy News Channel whose app is similar to the old WISH weather app.

I used to exclusively use this app, no matter where I was! This one is awful - deleting immediately. Not user friendly. No easy search function (does it even exist???never found it) for current weather conditions in various places. And the aaddddssssss. I get they need some to help generate revenue - but JFC I had probably 8 pop up in the 2 minutes it took me to decide to delete this. Awful choice WISH - stick to what works.
