iPhone 15 Pro Max - App does not load past splash screen. Tried two different phones.

As many know, IOS only works with WiFi adapters OBD2ScannerELM327 should be deleted from the store as it only works on Bluetooth.

I downloaded this I liked the program. I paid for the subscription but when I scan I can’t clear any codes. I tap on the code it says I need to pay for subscription (which I already did). So then I thought well maybe my payment did not go thru so I went to buy the same subscription and it says your subscription is good until 3/20/2021. So I paid for something that is useless now. If you decide to pay for this beware.

UPDATE - 03/09/21 - was finally contacted by developer - I returned device and was fully refunded for OBD2ScannerELM327 . I was sorry that this did not work out for me.

OBD2ScannerELM327 does not work with the VeePeak. I have asked for a refund but have heard absolutely nothing. Very disappointed. I encourage all to please beware when purchasing anything.

i am using OBD2ScannerELM327 in new tata safari and harrier. it showing false error codes. everytime i have to uninstall to connect with obd.

All it did when I tried to scan was say “fetching fault codes...” indefinitely. Does not work on BMWs.

Wouldn’t find codes or reset airbag on a 2005 Frontier. I’d love to get my ten bucks back, but I have a feeling that isn’t going to happen.

OBD2ScannerELM327 doesn’t work at all. Tells me I have no codes at all. I know better. Then it gets to a screen you can’t escape you close it and reopen same thing . Don’t waste your time like I did in 103 degree car.

OBD2ScannerELM327 has not been functional. Nothing worse than buying an app that is typically needed in emergencies or when you have enough issues to deal with, only to find out it no longer works. OBD-II module and vehicle never changed. Only change is updates the developer made. No response from the developer other than providing me last scan data from June 2020 when I report the issue in February 2021... Requested partial refund for failure to provide services, but have not heard anything back. You are literally better off buying the crap $20 scan tool from big box store... at least that will do basic function of pulling and clearing codes, which OBD2ScannerELM327 currently won’t do.

Using on 2014 vehicle that worked previously on when first purchased.

Requires creating an account before being able to use OBD2ScannerELM327 at all. After installing, on first run it simply launches a screen with 2 options: “log in” and “sign up”. There is no ability to even navigate the ui to see how it looks and functions without first creating an account with them. No thanks. This seems like unnecessary step and should just be optional if one wants to store their data on carpm’s servers.

I have never been able to get OBD2ScannerELM327 to work properly. I have a Carista OBD adapter and I got my activation code from CaRPM for a contest I entered with Carista. I would think since the two seem to have some kind of partnership, OBD2ScannerELM327 would work with the device. But never once has it worked properly. At first I couldn’t get it to connect at all. Now after the update, it tells me connection was successful but then when I go to scan it tells me to check my OBD adapter connection. Doesn’t make sense.

Support has been completely unresponsive to email and web form submissions.

Find a different program.

Updating my rating and review - uninstall/reinstall fixed it after the upgrade. Easy enough, delete, install, login. Garage was not saved however. No biggie tho.

You have TWO direct emails as well as TWO email form submissions from your very, very slow website from me. 2 contacts before I left this review, 2 more after.

Also - Found that Live View Advanced doesn't list (or find when searched) the PIDs available on the basic page. Makes it not usable for troubleshooting codes reported.
Example: Short term fuel trim. Long term fuel trim.
Many other core PIDs are missing from both Basic and Advanced as well.

Tried Cadillac (which it is), Chevrolet, GMC with the same results.

This would be a 5* app except for the issues above.

So I originally gave this a one star review and said it was a scam. I got an email after my purchase and I responded to the email with a request for a refund or help, the support was very good and very responsive. Turns out the scanner I have does not work with OBD2ScannerELM327, I think they should have a list of approved scanner devices that will work with OBD2ScannerELM327 because OBD2ScannerELM327 itself seems like it would work well. They were very helpful and guided me on how to get a refund. I might be a five-star product for someone who has the right scanner for it to work but their customer service is very good so even if it doesn’t work I’ll give them a three stars to be fair.

The check engine light fault on my BMW was cleared in just a few clicks. Excellent app. Loved it.

This has been a great scan tool. OBD2ScannerELM327 is easy to use. I kind of liked the looks of the last version but it just might be that I was used to it because the new version works better. Ive used this on Ford, Chrysler, and Hyundai and it works great.
