Wow - DO NOT UPDATE! What was once a necessary app has now become a necessary evil. Impossible to read ANYTHING, the type is so small. And I have the largest iPhone screen Apple makes. The app used to be incredibly easy to use and simple to navigate and see at-a-glance everything you needed. Now it’s cluttered with too many tiny little icons and even tinier type, rendering it impossible to locate anything necessary. Log-in is cumbersome. I don’t want to sign in with Facebook or Google. All they do is farm my info. I VALUE MY PRIVACY. I can’t even figure out how to get into an upcoming appointment so I can pre-register. I no longer want to use the app. Sad, because it is necessary for my health. It’s an ugly, horrible, useless tool. So much for pre-checking in. Can’t read the type it’s so small. Can’t read notes or any directions for the same reason. Also - the app can now only be logged into by tapping on a link through an email from Froedtert; it cannot be logged into via tapping on the app itself. That refuses your current log-in information and instead asks you to create a new account. I am NOT going to go through that again. Ridiculous. If you’re smart, you revert to the previous format. That was a piece of cake, and fully functional.

What I thought would be the easiest way to pay a recent bill resulted in the loss of 45 minutes of my life. The amount due is shown however you need to make and seek out the new path by some dragons and dungeons logic. Any developer with an ounce of sense would have a button right underneath the amount due and label it something like “Pay bill” which when clicked on would take you to the credit card screen. Also, users of the old app log in using a user name. The new app requires an email address. There is a link to take you to the old log-in screen that gets you inside the account, but no where does it tell you how or where to change from you old login name to the new required email address. Oh yea the old user name expires on June 2021.

I made an appointment with Dr. Beaumont for 12:30pm today, and at 10:15am, I received a call that he only wanted to see me virtually. I explained how I specifically scheduled an in person because that is what I wanted. How does he listen to my lungs virtually? Anyway, I had influenza over Thanksgiving and while better, I have a persistent cough. I was unhappy that he switched my appointment to virtual but the lady I spoke with said since that is the only way he will see me, that she could cancel it instead, so she did. Terrible practice. Shameful really. That’s not how you treat patients and I am very disappointed in that practice.
