Bookclubs really helped streamline our club. We have 13 members and are all able to communicate without having to be on other social media sites. It keeps the most current meeting info at the top, displays a picture of the book and all correspondence regarding meetings, falls under that meeting post. It really helps to keep it organized. We love the photo section too! This is a well thought out app.

Bookclubs offers great tools but can benefit from some flexibility. Like allowing a meeting to be set and a title written for the meeting even if the Book is not searchable in Bookclubs database.

Providing links or guides to running a book club, or guide questions to books in meeting / want to read queue, or a board where Bookclubz members can share practices or questions, would be an invauable resource.

And a feature where members can share within the club or in their profile their favorite books per genre separate from the books they post in the club “want to read” list.

Bookclubs is great! I wish it had a few more features like getting notifications when polls are submitted or anything is likes or posted. I wish you could remove member that is no longer participating. They have not active button but that’s not enough.

I like all of the features but one feature from another book club app that I miss is the book discussion questions. When you select a book that other groups have read, you can see how other folks using Bookclubs have rated that book and discussion questions they had for it. The other app didn't all the other features this one has though.
I think adding the book discussion qs would make this the best book club app I have used.

Let me start with the highlights ofthe great concepts in Bookclubs...easy to navigate and search for titles, easy to invite new members, RSVP, create polls, and keep track of past reading selections. But i find it inconsistent in communicating information. You input your address and contact info and select “share with club members” and then it only conveys your phone number and email, even if you’re hosting the meeting. Why not automatically show your address so you don’t have to retype it each time? Why isn’t it easier to populate the poll from the book recommendation list? Why, when I ask for notifications from the group do I persistently see “no notifications” but I have 20 missed messages from the group 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had the pleasure of beta testing Bookclubs when it first started and am such a fan of its functionality. It’s incredibly easy to use, links you to purchase the books your club is reading, sends notifications and reminders. Easy to communicate with the whole group without having a mass text message. Plus aesthetically, in my personal opinion, it’s the nicest looking app out there. I’ve never had it crash on me or anything like that. If you’re in the market for a book club app this is definitely the one.

I started a book club to connect with my friends during the pandemic and across the country. I’ve never been in a book club so Bookclubs helped me cover the basics without having to think twice. Love it!

Have been using the website and so excited to be able to access via a phone app now. Great to have everything at your fingertips - scheduling polls, past books your club has read, suggested books from members and more

So far really loving Bookclubs! Such ease on my phone and great features for our book club! We tried using the goodreads app but this one won! Love the feature that you can see our individual reviews under books we’ve read!

I’m the organizer of book club of around 10 people. I love our club, love the peeps, and enjoy organizing it but it was taking up HOURS to manage everyone’s schedules/availability/book picks etc and Bookclubs was a game changer. It’s easy, fun, and everyone in my club is happy to use it. So glad I found Bookclubz!

I’m new to reading and me and my buddies started a book club. None of us were readers. Bookclubs is great but other book suggestions would be cool and being able to buy books and audio books from here would be nice but neither of these is a deal breaker.

I’ve been using this website for managing my bookclub for over a year and now I’m so excited that there is an app! It is such a good alternative to fb or email-organized clubs. I even supported them in their fundraising because I was so pleased with the service. Would recommend!

My book club is nerding out at how convenient Bookclubs is. It’s got a section for everything we’ve been really disorganized about: meeting dates, polls for the next book, a section to search/upload discussion questions. We’ve even started uploading book themed cocktails to the recipe section .

With the pandemic still going on I wanted to start a book club with friends that was completely virtual. Bookclubs has been a wonderful tool in organizing the club and brining us together from all over the country.

I have found it to be pretty easy to use and figure out from the start.

We did everything by email before we got Bookclubs and honestly, this is so much better. We can keep better track of what we want to read, what we have read, and when the meetings are.

One suggestion I’d have is that when you put a book in the “want to read” section, it’d be great if you could have a description of the book there.

I decided on a whim to start a book club, and this platform has made it so simple. I wanted to avoid using social media to communicate. This way people get notified through email but still communicate through the platform, which is easy to access through the website. I use the polling feature all the time. I’m very happy with Bookclubs and the fact that it’s free tops it.

Loving Bookclubs so far, it’s amazing for making reading groups and keeping track of the books I have read. I just wish they would add a barcode scanner in the “Books I’ve Read” to make adding the books easier. And also have an add multiple option. We all know most of us read a lot of books to just add them individually.

I absolutely love Bookclubs. I was looking for a way to start and organize my very first book club and didn’t realize there platforms out there like this. It is a great way to keep your group aware of meetings as well as take polls. I also love that we have the opportunity to share other books we’ve read in the past as well as rate and leave comments about those books.

Love Bookclubs! Easy very easy to set up clubs. Love the simple fresh look. Had been using a different app for almost 10 years that was free but it decided to start charging $30 a year. I appreciate that Bookclubz offer you to contribute through Patreon - which I definitely plan to do. Love love this well put together easy way to organize my 3 Bookclubz. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

One wish: an option for members to receive text message reminders. Many people just don’t check their emails these days. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ve only been playing with this a day or so, I think I like the set up on the webpage better so far. I know Bookclubs has only been out a few months so I’m sure updates are coming. I agree that there needs to be a spoiler alert option, the ability to take a picture of a page and highlight a quote and also the ability to reply to individual messages on the club message wall. I read there will be a video conference option in the future super excited about that.

This seemed like a good idea, but Bookclubs does not have a comprehensive list of books available to select from and no way to add books manually.

Nice app to stay organized and see which books have been read or are in the queue. Easy to navigate and no frills.

It would be cool if there were a way to post discussion topics and share links tied to each book (instead of just general messages).

Great app to help organize and keep track of book club meetings. Super easy to use and a wonderful tool to help support these meetups.
Bonus would be if there was a way to actually see the other members’ profiles from your club page. I, as organizer, have no way to see what people list as they flesh out their profiles.

It would be great if the conversations could have a spoiler alert option to hide the comment until you click on it. Also if we are able to add a quote from a photo of the book. Bookclubs needs to be updated. The online site works very well.

I literally cannot day enough great things about Bookclubz and Bookclubs! It has made running our book club so much easier and all of our members absolutely love it as well! Highly recommend for all book clubs!

Finally an app that helps organize meetings, send email notifications, recommend books and catalog suggested reads. This easy to navigate website and app is a must for any book group.

Love the website and now Bookclubs makes it even easier to keep up with my book club.

Super easy to use! Great for personal and bookclub use. The developers are responsive and helpful. Bookclubz is awesome and I’m so glad Bookclubs is out now!

This will unite us as a club. It’s a place to share interests everyday vs only once a month at our meeting.
