Nothing really nice about it the free version unless you pay. Its just basically a Strava Flyby with a different UI

Needs smoother video exported by default, or the ability to adjust the exported frame rate. Currently Slid exports video that is extremely fast and jerks around erratically. It’s almost nauseating and disorienting to watch. Sad because this is the key function.

Everything else is quite nice though.

The exported videos look pretty bad. I’m not seeing the jerkiness mentioned by other users, but it’s very pixelated.

The video also includes a full screen advertisement for Slid at the end, which is completely unacceptable for a paid app.

The website shows that the videos include 3D fly throughs, which are not actually a feature of Slid . Just a simple line tracing over a static map.

App crashes after it finishes processing an activity. Tried twice, crashed twice.

The Slid makes is way off. The color looks horrible. Don’t subscribe. Just take the bullet and run relive.

Asks you to connect your Strava and Health app. After you share your info they ask you to unlock it with $2 a week. It should ask you to pay before you share your info. So yeah, 1 star from me ☺️

Slid works in a very limited way if you don’t subscribe to the service. No visualization of recent activity and no customization features. Might as well not offer Slid for free.

I wouldn't use Slid unless you are willing to pay the $30 a year. It seems to work fine for the one and only thing Slid allows you to do of posting your 2nd to last ride.

The exported videos don't smoothly trace the GPS route. The video looks terrible as a result.

Even within Slid the map data is loaded too slowly so that the tracing isn't smooth. The map data needs to be cached before displaying the trace.

Similar to what Relive App used to do, good options overall but not enough for free version (can’t even make a visualization of current activity...). It’s clear this pretty much won’t do much without paying.

Great design of app. However functionality is extremely limited without paying a subscription. I would buy a $10 version of Slid in a heartbeat, but $10 per month is way too much for something I’d only use a few times a month at most.

But if they can add more screen or songs, something makes more entert…. 🤪

Quality app for showing the route you took while out for a run or bike. I upgraded so that I could have the various styles of map.

So much fun posting my rides to instagram. And they keep making improvements to Slid . New features all the time. A+
