I absolutely love this game. However I will be contacting apple for my money back A.S.A.P. So I have spent money (real money) on this game via in app purchases. And I am upset because I noticed through certain task and missions that I wasn’t getting all of my keys. So I made sure that I counted how many keys I am supposed to get for certain task and how many keys I already had before I wrote to the operators through the game. It’s felt as if they were harassing me on purpose… and it took a lot (including them proving my point) that they did owe me keys. I stated that I would contact apple if I didn’t hear back from them in 48 hours but waited longer anyways. So I have proof that the game has flaws and bugs. I was able to automate a building with a capo who’s level was lower that what was required and took a screenshot (glad I did) because I just finished my bounty quest and guess what?? No keys!! Not a single key from all the quest I just did. I absolutely love playing the game… but since I am being cheated… I want my money back from this game… I don’t even care about them giving me the keys they owe me since I feel like it is going to be an ongoing issue (and feeling harassed like being mocked) and I refuse to pay or let them keep my money after I feel cheated in other areas.

Great game not great if you want to do great in ranking for better prizes in events where the better ranks get better prizes.
That pretty much means: the earlier you wake up, the more time you put into it, the more in game diamonds, and probably above all, the real life money💰 💵 💴 you put into the game that is only on that game, on that server, on that device. There are high cost “idle mafia game packages“ that you could buy, but to me, every package that costs you real life money 💰 💴 💵, is costly enough for me to not buy it. In other words, I am a free to play player who would get bloodshot eyes if I try to be on the same level ranking as those who pay and play, if I haven’t gotten bloodshot eyes before I become among the higher ranks of those who pay 💰 and play. I can look like a zombie shortly into the event, and even awhile after it has ended, and I can still have good prizes sometimes, especially for being a free to play player. Can you give us a week break between events? Sure the events aren’t mandatory, but they help me, sort of. Or are you just working with our device companies to have our rates go up from our extreme data usage from being on the device.

Used to be great. Now devs just greedy and always messing up gameplay. Waaaay too much for even big spenders. More than half of all players have quit in the past 9-12 months. All greedy. They don’t listen to or care about players. Devs blame players for their mistakes and issues. Even though they have beta- rarely used and even when it is used- bugs are not fixed before live rollout and they don’t care about what the majority of players think. It’s so bad the last while- some think they are trying to nuke it. It was one of the best games going. Not idle at all. Customer Svc completely useless; they just stall, or outright lie. Even their discord mods are constantly complaining for all to see and yet nothing is ever fixed or listened to. They just keep rolling out more money grabs with all the old bugs and glitches; and then we get more bugs and glitches. Lags are horrific too. Kicked out of game daily while trying to do various tasks. Save your time and money. Total shame they ruined and killed a great one

Edit 2: Just noticed Im not receiving my double idle chips/cash for watching the Ads.. Effectively giving them money for nothing at all. Honestly, I’m convinced this game has fake reviews. In the short time I’ve been playing, the game hasn’t been that fun.

Edit: After playing a couple Vegas events, I’ve noticed while playing the roulette wheel, it’s almost impossible to win any of the better prizes. There’s a total of 8 prizes, yet after buying coins in both events and spinning the wheel possibly over 200 times, I have maybe 5 times hit the better 4 prizes. It’s clearly rigged for you to buy more and keep spinning. The odds must be absolutely ludicrous. It’s not even fun. Definitely looking for a better idle game to play.

———————————————————————I decided to purchase the $2.99 “starter pack” because it was said to offer and “Max Level” mafia member.... of course when I finally decided to purchase the pack, the mafia member you get is not fully upgraded at all. I think it’s pretty really screwed up to make it seem as if you’re going to be buying a fully upgraded Mafia Card. I was really enjoying this game until they lied about a pack.

The game itself is great, and it seems as though the devs put a lot of work into making it enjoyable with the new events and missions… however, what isn’t so enjoyable is the in-app purchases and subscriptions, specifically the mafia club membership. I chose to pay $5 a month for it and I don’t necessarily regret that, but if I’m paying to remove ads from the game, that should apply to ALL my devices, which it does not. I have a tablet that I would like to play a separate game on, but because of this issue, I can’t play it ad free. Honestly, if I had to buy the membership again for another device, that would be one thing, but as of right now it is impossible to have two of the same subscriptions on your Apple ID, so I couldn’t even if I wanted to. For $5 a month, it should at least be POSSIBLE to have a subscription on multiple devices, whether it costs extra or not, but because it is not even an option, I feel as though the “subscription” is a pointless money grab. (Not to mention the shop purchases that go up to $100 just for some in-game gems)

Overall it’s your typical idle game that starts fun but eventually you will have to pay to win or have any type of fun at some point.
The game is pretty easy however, once you progress so far it doesn’t matter what level your Capos are the “auto” feature which lets them keep getting cash for you while you’re away raises which means you have to upgrade them. Which in turn you have to spend on average 20-40 dollars to get a pack to unlock the safes to get upgrades. Even the side missions are meant for you to pay to win. It’s not a bad game up until you hit level 35-40 that’s when it gets to the point you can either sit on the same level for 3 weeks or pay real money to upgrade to move on to an even harder level which guess what means that’s right spend more money. I have had the game for 6months or so and will be uninstalling it I have played up to where I’m aggravated enough that it’s the same thing day in and day out.

The game is good, don’t get me wrong. However, it feels like they REALLY want your money. The balancing feels stacked against you as every level requires you to have your characters (Capos) leveled up to a certain benchmark in order to make an income. The problem lies in the fact that the upgrading currency (cigars) is slow to build up, and the only way to hurry it is to use premium (real money) to hasten to pace. There is no way to watch ads for premium currency, and the ads that give you cigars do not load. This issue with cigar ads has been addressed by the developers, but has not been fixed with the new update. Even if you do have some of the free premium currency from completing missions, the cost of using it always leaves you in the negative, especially when the cost of using premium currency increases each time you use it. If you aren’t interested in putting in tons of money, especially after they make money from ads, don’t bother downloading.

In addition, the game often lags, freezes, or completely kicks you after about 3-5 minutes of playing. Another issue that was not fixed after the recent update.

Would be a fun game if they adjusted balancing and performance issues.

This is a really good game. The best idol game I’ve played. That said, the design of the game is a cash grab. I liked this game enough to sub at $5 a month and I usually spend a few bucks per event. (Events last several days)

The sad part is my subscription doesn’t allow me to get premium in the event. That is another fee. Each event has a premium. Even if I spends a few bucks and some diamonds in the events I can’t complete the event. The game doesn’t provide enough materials without paying more $. Even if I opted for the premium rewards from the event it can’t be completed. For instance this weeks event is Racing City. I spent .99 plus my monthly sub, plus about 100 diamonds and I don’t have enough gas to upgrade my capos to finish the event. Far far from it.

Bottom line. It’s a beautiful game but if you’re not going to shell out $20-30 a week I’d advise against getting started.

In all honesty there are some other really good games out there that would be happy to have me as a subscriber on a monthly basis, and that would be enough for them.

It’s very clear this game is designed to reach into your wallet. So much so that it’s frustrating. Makes me not want to play when I have to pay money every few days just to play it and feel like I achieved my task. It’s a negative gaming experience. I’ll probably move on very soon.

I have been playing for a little over three months now, and have enjoyed the game enough to subscribe to the $5 monthly membership. I enjoy the grind, the gang activities, and seeing my power levels rise relatively quickly, and I always look forward to the weekend and weekly events. The weekend events can get pretty time intensive, but the weekly events are usually pretty fun, change things up a bit, and are over without too much sustained attention throughout the week. One of the things I like about this game is I don’t have to be on the game constantly to achieve peak progress and can focus on work, my family, and other leisure activities while still feeling like a relatively top-performing player.

Lately, however, the events (two of the last weekly events and the next scheduled one) have been bad spin-offs of the weekend events. You cannot achieve even all of the standard rewards without spending diamonds or $$$ on them (normally premium rewards are available for a cost), even with the membership. Normally there is no problem getting all the standard rewards, but these new events are time-intensive during the week and require microtransactions to complete. This is a severe detriment to my game experience.

This review would return to a 5 star review if traditionally weekend events are not used in place of the weekly events.

I’ve been playing for a while now, and I do like the game. I guess you could say I’m a regular. Why is it so hard to earn loot such as gaining more capos? When you reach around rank 23-25, game drastically slows down and your forced to invest money into the game because you can’t upgrade legendary capos anymore and it’s just too tough to even come across legendary shards or legendary capos. What if you don’t have the money to invest in the game? I understand the game needs to stay afloat and what not. However you come into the game and earn legendary capos at a rapid pace then get shut down and have to start spending money. I feel like the only thing that should be difficult to earn is the mythical capos, but even at that there should be more of those shards and we should certainly see a lot more earning of legendary capos, legendary capo cards, and legendary capo shards as they are in the game from the very beginning. If people don’t want to spend money on the game and or don’t have said money, then you’ll lose that percentage of players because you win and level up so quick then get slapped with disappointment when you can’t level up anymore because you don’t come across the things you need to do so. I’ll continue to play but it’s gotten a tad bit ridiculous at this point. Pleeeeeaaase may we see more legendary loot? :)

I love this game but there is one issue that I can’t seem to fix and that’s you can’t watch any type of ad in the game. I have tried everything I can and ik it can’t be benefitting the company either so it seems like something they would fix almost immediately but it still isn’t fixed. Other than that I love the game keep doing what you are doing and make the game better for everyone

Edit:A few day later the event is really cool but it takes an absorbent amount of waiting then going back in upgrading two or three things then waiting again. I think to resolve this problem there should a system like gun fight but for chips instead, or add like an actual casino option where you can bet chips in exchange for a chance to play a simple game like 21 or something similar to try and win more items instead of just constantly checking in every few hours to do two things then leave

I love this game! I love the art style and the gameplay. I’ve been playing for a bit but noticed a few bugs. There are a few bugs when it comes to the ad system. Sometimes I’ll accept an ad and I won’t get one, I’ll just get a black screen and have to restart. Once I watched an ad to get the double income bonus and after the ad, I was met with a closeup of the bonus screen. I couldn’t do anything and had to restart. Here’s a minor but still annoying one, I’ll watch an ad but the ad will be shorter than usual. Instead of claiming my reward, I’ll have to wait the duration of a full 30 second ad. After the expected duration then I’ll receive my reward. These all had to do with ads but recently, I’ve been crashing constantly! Every time I open IdleMafia , I’ll load into the Street for 1 second and then I’ll crash! I really hope this gets fixed because I’d really like to get back to taking streets. Great game overall, a little buggy but disregarding that, I love it!

So first of all I absolutely love this game. It’s something I find that I keep coming back to no matter what other games I switch up. I love the mini events that go for a few days. Love that there’s SO many different things you can do. I wish some things like the talents and some upgrades and things like that had a little more explanation on how to use them so I’ve just kinda learned as I got there. The ONLY thing I’m not liking about this game is that since the thanksgiving update, sometimes when it’s loading the game or switching back to the mini games it will completely freeze my phone. I’m not talking like 30 second freeze either. It literally will not let me do a SINGLE thing on my phone, can’t even lock or restart it, for at least 5 solid minutes. The last couple times it’s been upwards of 10. I know that it’s the game because absolutely nothing else has had any issue like this except for the minor 1/2 sec lag here and there when I’m doing a lot. Overall I absolutely love this game and I keep coming back to it but I’m getting really frustrated with this freeze.

Ok so in the first 2 minutes of the game I said this is lame and boring I’m gonna u install but as I sat on the toilet I realized I should give every game an equal chance and gave this game a chance and it has not disappointed the cartoon like graphics are outstanding the idle/business part of the game has more to be desired but is so far really good but in the future I would like to see some updates and cool no features there is also characters that you unlock that you upgrade and level up which all have great designs and easy to understand power ups which make situations where you shouldn’t be able to win a fight winnable if you strategize right the fighting is overall simplistic and some people might not like it but for an idle game where your just playing for 5-15 minutes every day or so it’s really good and fun

Another thing id like to say is while it is similar to other idle games in the fact that you sit your phone down and rack up more money it also stacks up fast enough that you can keep progressing at your own pace and honestly if you played all day could probably max out in one go without being idle at all so for the people out there that are impatient and don’t like buying gems like in games like Clash of Clans this is great!

Overall 5/5 Would recommend
Status: currently my favorite game to play on the toilet

I have played lots of idle games over the years and when I saw an ad for this game I decided to give it a try. Once I started getting into the high level streets I decided I really like this idle game.
It’s one of the best idle games I have played because there is a lot of idle and non-idle things to do. Like if you need to level up your capos, you can get cigars by doing the cigar fights or also the prison breaks. If you don’t have any cigars, then you can try to complete objectives for your street to earn some. If all of those don’t work (which is highly unlikely) then that’s where the idle stuff comes in. I love this game because there are so many things to do and it’s very easy to do those stuff. I have been playing for about 2 days and already I am at rank 10. Even tho I am about to completely rule my entire city, there is still so many more things for me to do. Like upgrading and leveling up my capos to purple stars so I can completely rule the world. It really feels like your a mob boss and does a great job giving you stuff mob bosses would usually do. This idle is a one of a kind and one of the best I’ve played so far, which is why I am giving it 5 stars. I hope the developers continue to update and make the game better.

I have played a plethora of idle games and have enjoyed them... but to an extent. At a point in the game you get bored and it gets repetitive. Then as the cycle goes, I delete IdleMafia after maybe 3 months and download a new one. This idle game is the best exception. I figured it would go the same. Download, enjoy, get bored, delete & repeat. I was so pleasantly surprised to find so much more to the game. Things that keep you interested like upgrading cards for better management and for other key parts of the game. Which although is pretty normal, you find yourself really enjoying getting new capos and giving them stars. If you’re stuck on a mission or quest—up at the top of the screen, then you have mini games to get prizes and you have fights to get cigars which fuel your cards (capos). I love that there are also multiple fighting experiences. Fights, prison break, arena, and a chance to gamble and wager your cigars on top players. Plus there is so much more you can do like finding gear. I absolutely recommend this game if you love idle games and wish idle games had something ‘more’. 5/5 for me.

I am lvl 25 and haven’t had to spend any money. I am writing a review as I have seen a bunch of people complaining that the upgrades take too long after lvl 21. I disagree as all you have to do is save up your keys everyday to guarantee 10 which will give you a rare or legendary. Build them up and you get enough legendaries to upgrade. I have 4 3 stars right now and will have my 5th by the end of the week. It’s not hard.

The game play is simple but fun, they have events that are fun to play even though they are favored to pay to win people but you still walk away from the event with awesome stuff.

They keep updating the game now with gear to apply to your characters, they have a daily refreshed jail break mode which gives you a ton of keys and is challenging. They are also working on a gang mode which I am patiently excited for. If you want a game you can play for hours at a time than stop looking at IDLE games. But if you like a game you can pick up once or twice a day this one is the best in my opinion.

I’ve been played this a little over a year now, and it’s by far been my favorite idle and phone game in general. In the beginning you can spend hours playing, but you do reach a point where you must wait or spend insane cash. If you’re looking for a game to play 10-30 mins everyday, this is the game for you. You can hop on and do your dailies in 5-10 mins, or explore around and do more.

I was about to quit this game, then found a really good gang to join. It’s made this game insanely more fun.

One down side I didn’t like when I started was completing the weekend events because it required using a lot of diamonds most of the time to complete fully. When you get further and further in the game, acquiring gems becomes easier especially with the mafia membership. If you have zero interest at all spending $5 a month, then you will probably get bored of this game pretty quick with all the ads. It’s so worth the $5 a month if you think of the time you spend on this every month, and you also get skip ALL ads and still get the benefits of watching the ad.

If you are interested in idle games, Try this game and if you like it, get the membership and enjoy. This game got 100x more fun between the membership and finding a great gang.

The title is accurate. I despise idle game I don’t understand the existence of games where all you do is the same thing non stop where all you have to succeed is one repetitive action an and time. No skill the very definition of a time waster. While this game has the same things that irritate me the addition of the fights and nearly what some would call a story. But the thing I hate most about these games is the constant watch this commercial double your cash or whatever and while those are optional you feel like an idiot for leaving even fake cash on the table. Few games of any type mold my interest for long and even when the odd idle game has lured me in those are the quickest delete of any game. This to will be deleted at some point but at least for now it’s still more game then time wasting obligation at this point and quite fun at least for now.

🏆 This game 🕹has sooooo many different levels & features , just when one door 🚪 opens / closes there’s another door 🧧waiting for entry ‼️
I’ve been playing this game close to a year 📆 now & I can’t get enough of it ‼️ Another great 👍 thing about this game 🎮 is if you don’t want to spend cash 💰 then don’t , it’s as simple as that ‼️ I mean sure spending cash 💰 always makes things a little easier and the rewards are usually a lot cooler .. so hit and miss I do spend here and there, but it’s not ridiculous pricing..
All I can say is this, check this game out‼️ jam out to it for a couple days before you make your mind up & U2 will be addicted to the chaos of the game in no time at all ‼️
”TRUE FACT” finding yourself leaving a positive review just like me at this time ‼️😆

Great game, definitely gonna keep me occupied for a while.

I’ve found one issue though. Sometimes the game freezes after I watch an ad, so I don’t get the reward for the ad and have to force close IdleMafia . For example, I just went into the event, and watched a video to double my 50aa earnings. After the video, I just got a loading circle, and eventually I gave in and reset IdleMafia , when I came back to the game, I was offered to watch a video for about 700T, and I had about 1.2aa in the bank. So I not only lost the ad bonus, but I lost out on all the money I would have gotten if I had never watched the ad in the first place. Big sad. Still my favorite game though.

Also, just a nitpicky thing. When you rerun an “Unfinished Business” level, can you make it so the check marks at the top reset?? It’s not a big deal but when I redo a stage I don’t have a clear idea of how close I am to finishing. Thanks!

A very fun idle game if you like idle games, a lot of aspects to keep gameplay fresh such as the prison battles and the events. One of the best idle games I’ve ever played for sure. Only criticism is how difficult it is as the game progresses, I am now stuck on Rank 24 in Miami as I can not get orange mafia members fast enough to upgrade them, so I cannot make any of the businesses automatic that require anything above level 180. I’ve been playing for days and am just attempting to scrounge together resources to make it possible, I even have the 30 day pass and it’s still very difficult. So I pretty much cannot play unless an event starts. Other than that, great game, no ads unless you choose to watch them, definitely not a game that can’t be played without spending money.
