They move too fast and don’t start with the basics. They don’t explain how to do the refs they just really quickly zoom past the Fred’s and I hate it. I give it a one star you should too. I don’t recommend.
Even though I play guitar right-handed I'm technically left-handed. Lovely app, but I never saw the settings someone else might need to switch from right to left hand. That's gonna put off more than a few people who actually play lefty!! Even some of the wonkiest looking guitar apps allow for that function. Please consider if you haven't, an option for lefty players during your next update. Thx!
Gituru is great because it gives you sort of feedback and lets you listen to it but it’s literally like just text messages that come through not like an actual lesson so it’s kind of lame and it moves extremely slow and you have to read it obviously which makes it just like why is this an app?
Gituru itself is alright, no slow movement or bugging…. But the will not let me move on from lesson one. I have completed the challenge on several occasions and it refuses to let me move on. Is there something I have to pay for?
So far Gituru is very helpful to me I love the way the communications were designed but there is one thing that prevents me to have a fun experience. Whenever copying the same chord or riff I had trouble trying to move on because the recording was too fast for me.
Every single time I played a note it didn’t count it and I kept getting extremely frustrated.
I just got Gituru, and it seems really nice. I started out not knowing anything, and I already played a riff and a famous one at that. Gituru is awesome!🤩🤩🤩
On the 3rd lesson of Gituru I said that I have to play the thhissnest string but is said I got it wrong when I got it right
I’m sure Gituru is great, but when I got to the “first melody” lesson, it let me play the open note blah blah, but when it had my try to play the two first notes, no matter how many times I strummed it showed that it heard me but didn’t fill in the little bubble and nothing worked so I’m a little bummed but it’s okay!
This a great app.
It’s more helpful than an other guitar app I have.
But the tuner keeps thinking the small e chord is the G chord.
I hope you can fix this cause it’s a really great app(besides that part)!
The lessons here are good but the last time I used it I couldn’t get any feedback from Gituru on my guitar playing.

It has a tuner for your guitar in case your wondering and it’s got more than just the lessons, like Chords you can practice. I appreciate Gituru! I just got my guitar a few days ago and have searched for a couple free apps on how to play and this one has helped me the most. Blessings to whoever reads this!
I learned guitar easier than I ever could with Gituru
Gituru literally taught me THREE different riffs in just 10-20 minutes! Not to mention the other app they have for tuning! I’ve already learned about riffs and how to make certain notes sound different. Also, you have a choice if you want it free or not which is awesome to me! Honestly, better than simply guitar 🎸 I love Gituru ☺️
You don’t even have to pay and it is starting to really help me with learning the guitar even more!
I’ve always wanted to learn guitar. I’ve downloaded every guitar app to help me play but it always gives you a subscription for you to pay after the first lesson. Gituru doesn’t do that and I can’t wait for it to update. If you’re a beginner Gituru is for you.
I think Gituru is amazing for being free, the tuner and practices work great. Gituru makes it simple to learn guitar without needing to break the bank. Besides the fact it’s not finished, it’s a solid app. Everything they’ve came out with so far is 10/10 in my opinion :)
