I know as a general rule we can’t expect much out of mobile games, but this one some how manages to constantly disappoint anyways. I loved this game. I’ve played almost daily for two years. Recently there have been an increase in game breaking bugs that the publishers apparently don’t care to fix. The player base as a whole is getting fed up (not just myself, there are Facebook and subReddits for this game).

Participation is dependent on real world timing, which is a problem when the servers are down for hours at a time leaving you unable to participate in limited events like Manhattan ladies or the Party Boat. The players are never compensated for this, deadlines never increased, and zero communication from the developers. What’s worse is there is never any acknowledgment from support. Reports are always ignored, to the point where I’m not even sure why they have it as an option.

There are other aspects of this game that are holding it back, but they’re secondary when you can’t even access the game 90% of the time. I want it to work. I want to be able to continue to play, but when issues like these are ignored, especially the “connect to Facebook” pop ups continually bricking players phones, it makes it hard to support it.

I am very disappointed as I wrote a review several days ago and it is still not posted so I will write it again.
We demand that you stop the cheating! Messages after messages have been sent with attached proof of swapping players in houses to gain more trendsetters and earn more badges than possible for special events as well as proof that mods are being used to submit stories multiple times in order to win seasonal global. The response to these emails was originally that we were basically foolish for thinking this and it was impossible to cheat. Now, you are confirming that you are aware of these issues and a fix is in the works, but how long will this take? It’s been months of cheating. Houses racking up badges that they didn’t earn fairly. Are these badges going to be removed? Players winning trendsetter and global through cheating. The longer this goes on, the more animosity builds up between players and more and more players begin to become disillusioned with this game.
Simple communication of house rules at the beginning would have possibly avoided the conflict.
Don’t even get me started on the thousands of items donated that we haven’t seen in months or the team limited items that we wore once and have been unable to wear again.
We demand communication of house rules, denouncing of unfair game play and consequences whether it be banning a player/ house or removing badges immediately. If this goes on, you will be seeing many walk away from the game for good.

Hi! The game hasn’t allowed me to make the Trendy Quest, nor is it enabling me to get the Trendy bonus because for the past few day, there are 0 trendy items. This has set my progress back severely :-( . Am I the only one? I can’t even play anymore because I’ve had to buy items to make up for the game glitch. **EDIT** —- I reached out to Customer Service and provided screenshots and specific and detailed information in regards to my concerns. Customer Service continues to gaslight me and continuously attempt to ignore what is being said and even challenge the PROOF of my claims. They kept telling to restart the game which of course had already been done. Then they disappeared and come back with suggestions to send screenshots. EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY SENT THEM. They suggested that I PAY REAL MONEY for items. I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED THE PASS . What more do you want from me? I will no longer support this game. You could have at least offered gems. Look at the recent reviews. Others are complaining , but your Customer Service is going out their way to NOT assist us. I will be deleting PocketStyler and will keep my styler pass money in my pocket. Times are hard and I used this game to help me pass time and stimulate my mental health. At first, i was telling all my friends about this game. About how fun it was, and about how it’s a great chance to get into the styling world if you wanted to be a designer someday. But after awhile, it started getting boring. I only had 13 followers while others had millions. To participate in events, i had to buy things. And after awhile, i didn’t have any money left to play the game. (In the game money, not irl money.) And now, I can’t even get in the game! It’s so glitchy, too! It takes me HALF AN HOUR to get into the game. I don’t even play it for that long! Who wants to play something that takes more time than your actually playing just WAITING for PocketStyler to load? Not me, that’s for sure. And i wish you could just get money if you needed it. Like, if you have no money to participate in the only thing you could do in the whole game, why not just delete it? I’ll tell you what. Everyone should delete it unless it comes out a whole different better version soon, because this is pretty bad.

If they don’t fix this now, they’re going to be in a lot of trouble. If this game is what some people make off a living, they better start finding other jobs, because soon this is going to happen to everyone, and then PocketStyler store will be OVERFLOWING with bad reviews. Then out of 5 stars, PocketStyler’ll be 1 star. So they better get on their A- game

I agree with many other reviewer‘s of this game. It’s extremely fun and addicting. I like color coordinating outfits and different styles do you have and all the challenges.
However in order to keep up with the challenges and play the game real money has to be spent on a regular basis. I’ve only had the game for about 2 1/2 weeks And I think I’ve spent about 100 real dollars. (and I don’t even pick out the most expensive clothing items for my character in attempts to save some game money and Gems)Additionally there’s been several times that I do not enter a challenge because the items that are required to meet a challenge cost too many gems Or game money.
As much as I enjoy the game I’m actually getting to the point where I am thinking of deleting it because the rewards are not comparable to the amount of real money that is spent on Gems and game cash
I understand and agree that the developers need to make money. But the amount of money that they were expecting gamers to pay in order to play this game is completely unreasonable. I hope that the developers make some adjustments before they start losing more clients including myself.

I had this game for a bit and was enjoying it. The outfits you can make was fun but don’t be fooled, this game costs money. You don’t get enough money/gems after entering events to justify the pricing for buying items - which ultimately would lead to purchasing actual money packs which I have done. I recently updated the game and noticed all the clothing I had gotten while playing is gone, save for a few accessories and shoes. Now they’re showing as needing to be purchased again which is ridiculous. It seems I’m also not the only player that had this happen to them after checking the reviews.

If you were wanting to play this game, I would suggest you don’t. It’s not worth playing when your outfits are suddenly no longer owned by you and you have to repurchase them for no reason. Also the fact most of the items, besides the really basic outfit choices, cost a LOT (a simple tie dye shirt for example is literally $4800 to buy) so you’re left with not a lot of options and can’t really win in style competitions without having to reuse items which doesn’t get you a boost for ratings. It’s pretty much pushing you to spend money and as someone who does generally spend money on games, I can’t justify spending any money on this game any further when the items purchased will randomly not be yours and you have to repurchase them.

I would prob love this game, but they give you limited money and diamonds to create a good style.. in order to earn More money and diamonds you need to submit styles.. the better the styles the more points which gives you more money and diamonds. Here’s the problem.. you’re forced to enter crappy ugly styles because the cost of the good items is way more than what limited funds you have. So by entering a sub par style you get less Money and diamonds!! The prices are insane for one item and a lot of good items you can only buy w diamonds. The rewards you get don’t come close to making up what you had to pay in order to get a good style. You’d have to enter 10 styles to recoup the money you had to spend on one outfit. Some of the challenges I can’t even play because you have to use a certain category of item.. which is fine if every item on the list didn’t cost a boatload of diamonds or money. You can’t earn more until you submit, can’t submit if you don’t have funds. And what’s w taking take up to 5 days for them to give you a score sometimes??.. 5 days? 🤨 It’s Basically pushing you to spend Actual dollars on the game. I just wanted to style and play and vote for others styles... I understand having to earn some one upper tier level items it’s a game but in This game the cost is way too disproportionate to the rewards.

I really like this game but am frustrated that it freezes up too much. I have to watch ads, then it freezes, kicks me out, I don’t get the reward, have to watch again. Often get ripped off and don’t receive double rewards after watching ads. Runway duels get frozen, and kicked out. Then I lose my ticket also after having done the “work”. I think it is rigged also because I have had an outfit that was clearly better than my opponent’s and I still lost. I once had a “default” which I screenshot and sent to support showing I still lost against no one. Currently I have over 1000 outfits submitted and am on level 28. I was in the middle of designing an outfit. I was going to select a handbag but the filter said I had nothing matching. I cleared the filter and still nothing in my “closet”. Going to my profile page as I said I have over 1000 outfits submitted but it say I own zero items. How does one get to level 28 without any clothes? I am currently losing time and days of styling to earn the current outfit with the brown, pants, shirt, belt boots coat etc. I have spent a lot of real USA dollars and feel I should not be having these issues. I feel Nord Current should reimburse my money or compensate for all the trouble. I have contacted support MULTIPLE times. I am about to give up on this game. 😰😰😰

I really, really do enjoy this game. As a middle aged adult woman who isn’t very stylish myself, I love playing dress up on Pocket Styler. PocketStyler overall is pretty good and I have not experienced a large number of glitches or incidents that have kept me from being able to play. As with any game, I’m quite turned off by not being able to fully play unless I repeatedly shell out money. Admittedly, I have spent some money playing this game, mostly because you can’t really participate to the fullest extent unless you do. You will never get anywhere only being able to compete on the lowest levels with the smallest payouts. With that said, yes I’ve spent some money in an attempt to try to build my wardrobe. I’m about a month in and I’m finally starting to have an acceptable wardrobe of options. But listen up Pocket Styler developers! My beef here is that now I have a halfway decent wardrobe that I can’t even use! It seems that every single event requires new pieces. Expensive pieces. Why am I buying these clothes if I never get to use them again??? Come on! We like the game. Give us a chance to compete in a few events that lets us use what we’ve worked so hard to accumulate. I can assure you that I will not continue to play. This thing of trying to come up with enough to compete in ONE event is getting old fast. I think I’m about done. Do better Pocket Styler.

I enjoy this game, but too often there are glitches in the program. Too frequently when you play the Daily Deal and use the WATCH (ad) feature, it gets locked in the loading. You have to fully close PocketStyler and restart in order to play and of course, you lose that option. It’s such a waste of time. Also, I recently purchased diamonds which had a sale offer of 750 diamonds for the price of 500. I got 500 instead of the 750. I received a quick “we’ll get back to you” email, and it’s still in process. It’s the glitches that make me give them only 3 stars. Improvements in PocketStyler ’s properly working would increase that number for me. Update: It took a few days and emails, but the CS contact corrected the purchase issue and gave a little extra for inconvenience. That was a nice gesture that can go a long way. There are still glitches in the program, but it appears they are working on the fixes. Because of the CS, I’ll add another star.

Update: I was going to to add a star, but the glitches continue. I just sat through 2 ads to double the prize, but no luck. The first time, the ad froze. I logged out of the game and tried it again. Had to watch another ad. After all that, still nothing. These kinds issues, reduce the fun of the game. I’ll like continue playing, but after it gets continuously annoying, I’ll just delete it and move on.

I used to Love this game but recently they have added extremely ugly clothing items. I mean, seriously, someone had to work very hard to make the coats, tops and bottoms this horrible. The idea is to make it a challenge to put random items together to create a “pulled together” look. But their latest items are ridiculous. There also have been NO Jewelry or other accessories added to help a look come together. The same earrings have to be worn each time. There is no variety of colors for the Jewelry. They have added fabulous new hairstyles and recently added different face and body variations for different races and gender identity looks. That’s important and adds a lot to the game, but how hard is it to add a few pieces of Jewelry and some decent handbags and purses? This game costs a lot of money to play and it has recently become impossible to put a good look together, so I am quitting. I’ll check back perhaps several months from now to see if any improvements have been made. It’s loads of fun and quite addictive if they would just stick to beautiful clothing and add accessories. *Creators: *You don’t need to make us have to choose ugly clothing to test our style. Enough people have poor taste in putting great clothing looks together without you making it impossible!

I’ve had this game for about a year and a half but stopped playing for a long time but a few days ago got back into the game.
I noticed they put in a lot more adds, it is a free game so I don’t blame them, but I wanted to pay to remove the adds but they don’t have that option:(
There are A LOT of bugs I’ve noticed just playing for a few days. The game freezes a lot, the music stops and you can’t click anything until you exit the game clear it and then go back into the game. This happens multiple times every time I play. And today after the add played, I clicked out of the add and the add’s music stayed and wouldn’t go away until I exited the game cleared it and then went back into the game. Then right after I did that and submitted another look it gave me the same add and the same thing happened.
This is really sad because I really enjoy this game but the bugs are making the game really annoying to play, and I really don’t like having to watch an add every time I submit a look or get results back. If these fixes can be made this game would be an easy 5 star in my opinion. Again I want to say that this a free app so I understand that there are going to be adds but please, if you could give the option to pay to remove the adds, I would really like that.

Currently sitting here writing this review as PocketStyler simply won’t load. I’ve had issues the past week where it will load for 5 minutes and just stop but at the moment it just closes on its on after 5 seconds. The problem I have when I’m actually in the game is how expensive all the clothing, shoes, and accessories are. You quickly run out of money and diamonds and after entering some not so fun events you can finally enter one high reward event and then the cycle continues. There are some stunning pieces and then a crap ton of ugly ‘digitally’ low quality pieces that I’m willing to bet contributes to PocketStyler crashing. I suggest those get removed to leave room for a smoother game play. I also suggest perhaps more add opportunities to gain some money and diamonds for when a player gets stuck in the boring events and is forced to put together the same basic outfits. No we don’t have to buy new pieces but yes it is required for a more fun experience in my opinion. A balance between the more challenging events and the easier ones would create a more enjoyable experience. At the moment it is not a balance since it’s so hard to earn enough to complete them. Please get creative and improve the game play. I don’t see much change even though everyone is commenting the same common issues.

I wrote a review saying it’s a great game but could be better and sometimes the reward don’t match the money you put in. The developers wrote back saying it is not required to buy new items or participate in events. If that is the case then what exactly is the purpose for the game? The whole reason for the game is to literally buy items for outfits and meet requirements and hopefully win 5 stars on your outfit right? So if you don’t wear an unworn item you lose out on points, if you don’t wear a item from whatever collection is featured you miss more points then if you don’t wear a “hot item” it’s even more points. So then you end up with some basic outfit that nobody will vote for and a low score so I’m not sure how their response makes any sense. Out of 10 events only 2 don’t require you to meet certain style requirements but the reward is low and that’s not as fun. So how is telling the players they don’t have to participate fair to those of us that enjoy this game but simply want to get more out of it? Clearly a lot of people love this game it’s one of the best fashion games out. All we are saying is there is room for improvement to make this game better. Telling me I don’t have to play is rude because clearly I don’t HAVE to do anything. I play because I want to and it’s fun. I just want it to be better. Thank you for listening to my Ted talk.

My biggest complaint with this game is the ads. You have to watch them to get anything done. You can watch ads to double any awards you get, which makes sense. But, then you also have to watch ads just to claim rewards you’ve already won. At this point, I watch ads more than I actually play. I was playing for premium, but cancelled because at $15 per month, I should not have to watch so many ads. The other thing is it is SO hard to get enough resources without paying. Cash flow is relatively easy, but everything costs a lot of gems and events don’t give out very many, so you’re always using more than you spend. Even when I was top of the leaderboard a few times, I got 1k in gems; which only buys 1-2 items, allowing for entry into 1, maybe 2 events that will then pay out maybe 120 gems. There is no getting ahead. Not to mention you might be in a leaderboard group with someone five times your level and therefore have no hope of winning even if you grind. I love the concept of this game, but I feel like I’m being milked for ad revenue for an hour just to get in ten minutes of actual playtime, which is then lackluster because it’s so hard to get resources without paying money or watching more ads.

I really love this game. I got it about a week ago and it gave me no ads unless I chose to watch one to get an increase in my money or gems which I appreciate.. But here lately after submitting an outfit it immediately takes me to an add which hadn’t happened at all in the past except for the last two days. I looked and maybe I didn’t look enough but there’s also no option for me to pay to stop the ads. Other than that it was a very fun game, you got to vote on outfits, there’s sales on outfits (which is helpful), you can be in ‘houses’ where it’s easy to discuss things with other people playing. It’s a very well organized game and is straight to the point in terms of making a genuine outfit.

Other than the ads the only suggestion I have would be to add the option to buy or earn more poses for your character. They all make the same exact pose and I really think that sometimes the specific pose they make can take away from or make the outfit you chose not stand out as much as you’d like. It’s just unoriginal to see the same pose over and over on my outfits and everyone else’s. It’s modeling not dressing a mannequin, lol. Thanks!

I can’t lie I started playing one day after seeing it as an ad and have been playing since. BUT after the last 2 updates it force closes a lot, it’s not allowing you to collect the money or diamonds like you’re supposed to be able to, and it automatically changes up the color of the hair and eyebrows on any outfit that you’ve submitted (and no it doesn’t even change it to a nice color, mine is generally a light plum color hair and blonde eyebrows… and it doesn’t look right 😩). I hope this can be fixed soon.

Update to response: I’m not sure if my original description wasn’t clear. The changes that are being made are only after PocketStyler force closes, it’s not even the original styles that I chose. I honestly have no clue where the hair color selection comes from.

Ex. I can submit a style with brown hair and plum tips or all brown hair with black eyebrows, but if PocketStyler force closes once it’s time to collect the stars the hair and eyebrows are a completely different color than what was submitted. Literally the hair and eyebrows changes to like a plum color and the eyebrows blonde. 🤷🏽‍♀️.

I love this game! The challenges or quests and activities are fun but we need some more options:
#1 more ways to get diamonds rather than cash. I always get more of anything than diamonds. And diamonds are most needed to purchase anything.
#2 a search for items according to price w/ cash & diamonds. If I have so much diamonds or cash and I need a pair of shoes and a scarf for a particular event, it would be better to search for those items when I only have cash or i only have a certain amount of diamonds.
#3 now that I’m in a group participating in activities, I would like to see and purchase the items the girls have so I can participate in challenges as well since items are not easy to find or use according to cost that I need to accomplish that specific activity.
Please consider these because I really would like to be able to participate more than I can w/out literally paying for them. I have nothing against the adds because that’s how y’all bring the game to us for free. But please consider my requests so I can give you 5 stars and tell more people about this game.

I love this game!! It’s addicting!! The only reason I don’t play more is because I don’t have real money to finish all the challenges so I do the best I can with what I get. The problems are: 1. That it has glitches and sometimes it freezes and doesn’t give you the money or gems you’re supposed to get. 2. It’s set up in such a way that you have to spend real money in order to achieve leader status. Clothes is very expensive. It is very hard to get gems and sometimes the challenges don’t even include clothes that can be bought with money. 3. Rewards don’t even come close to your investment. To get a very nice style yo invest from 600 to 1200 gems. However, if you get to get the four star reward it is only about 160 gems. Not even half your investment! If you get the five stars (which I find hard because I refuse to pair things up just because of bonuses and not because I like the look), you get an item, but that item is still a cheap one and it doesn’t even come close to your investment.
Like I said, gun but frustrating if you don’t want to spend real money on it.

I love this game. I’m obsessed with it. I wake up in the middle of the night to make sure I don’t miss anything. I set up alarms and take it very seriously because I’m very competitive. I can’t say everything I love about this game because i love everything except one thing and it would take too long to name them all therefore, you’re gonna have to trust me and just go play the game. I promise that you won’t be disappointed. Like I said I’m very competitive and I take everything seriously. If they tell me to get dress for a wedding I’ll dress for a wedding, if it’s for a walk downtown, a bar, church, anything basically, I’ll try to dress accordingly. But not everyone is like this and sometimes when you’re voting for the same event you see two dolls wearing something completely different. Both pretty but you can tell they’re not going to the same place. Therefore I would really appreciate it if in the next update they ask “Who wore it better for a ladies night; specify the occasion. So I know who looked at the instructions and who just threw an outfit together.
