WVIAPublicMediaApp is a great idea for when you're in an area of poor radio reception. Unfortunately the streaming will stop at unpredictable times. Many times you will start it playing and it will stop within just a few minutes of restarting it. This happens when when the phone is plugged in, stationary, and with a strong signal. Other streaming apps don't have this problem.
I am an everyday listener to WVIA. I recently heard that l could get the WVIA App and wake up to the station. However that feature is no longer on WVIAPublicMediaApp .

If you like jazz it’s a great app. They have a large catalog of music with very little interruptions.
Great app and finally a way to listen to the HD radio stations I can’t do with my car.

I love that my kids can watch shows like Wild Kratts for free (Amazon wants to charge us extra). For some reason I’m unable to cast to my TV while my phone is already connected to Bluetooth earbuds, so maybe that could be fixed - but overall, it’s a very good app.
