I rented a car from August 4th to August 22nd. When I picked up the car it looks alright but right after I loaded my luggage the driver rear tyre went flat. I drive to nearby gas station to put air and it seems like holding it but I have to drive slowly to my destination which is only 30 minutes away. I felt unsafe to continue driving the car so I contacted the host and Trevo indicating I want yo cancel the rental. Host did not bother me but Trevo told me to return the car and they will refund me after taking the penalty which is 1to 2 days rental. Iagreed and host send someone yo pick up the car the same day. Since then Trevo start changing tone and told me after their investigation there is nothing wrong with the tyre. Since I already paid the full amount, I told them I will take back the car since refund is not possible. Now Trevo told me they need the ops team to do investigation which can take up to 14 days and I will not have the car back. This is definitely illegal as I paid for the rental and I will not have the car. I have reported the issue to my credit card company but I don’t think they can do anything about it. I can only buy the lesson and warn other potential users.

The app makes it impossible to sign up… There doesn’t seem to be any support for it, I would love to be able to rent a car in Borneo… However, the sign-up process gets me as far as entering my information and phone number, and then it asks for an SMS WHICH IT NEVER SENDS TO ME… IF ANYONE REACHES OUT TO HELP ME SIGN UP FOR THIS APP, I WILL BE HAPPY TO REWRITE THIS REVIEW
