Fantastic app with all the important data necessary to catch the northern lights when they’re out. What makes AuroraForecastAlerts different, is that it explains what the data actually means. I have not seen that anywhere else. I highly recommend! The developers are responsive to improvement suggestions, as well. Go get it downloaded, so you can be prepared for next big show!

AuroraForecastAlerts is Awesome. It gives it to you in scientific terms, but explains everything in commonmbthh. Keep up the good work. Ps, can you make the lights visible in Cincinnati please. If you can do that I will give you ten stars Just kiddn

If you’re like me and got AuroraForecastAlerts so you could be alerted when the Aurora was visible from where you live, then you will be disappointed.

For example, it will not be dark here until 3-4 hours from now. Yet, this application has been spamming my notifications for the past hour.

It goes on fits where it will spam notifications - never actually at a time when it would be possible to see Aurora from my location. And then when the Aurora IS visible from my location, nothing. I’ve had AuroraForecastAlerts for a year, and live in a location where Aurora is visible a handful of times a year, and AuroraForecastAlerts has never notified me that Aurora is visible. I always find out the next day, in the news.

In my opinion, the best way to ensure you are notified is to set-up alerts based on Twitter mentions / keywords.

Used this last night in Iceland to predict the Northern Lights appearance. We had been trying for close to 8 days. Last night was perfectly clear and with the help of AuroraForecastAlerts we were able to view the lights for close to a half hour. Thanks for a great app!

I enjoyed AuroraForecastAlerts so much last summer while in Maine. I am very excited that visibility may be improved in locations a bit farther south than where we watched from last August, due to the clearer skies that we are all experiencing. AuroraForecastAlerts has inspired me to learn more about the night sky!

This is the third app I have downloaded and tried. This one is the keeper!! It explains what to look for and you don’t have to be an astronaut to know when the northern lights will be in your area 👍

AuroraForecastAlerts has a variety of forecasts as well as varying ways of visualizing the data it gives you. Very useful and replaced my previous aurora app. The developers are fast to reply to questions via email.

Everything works and is easy to read. Shows your time zone time in easy to read graph.
A got to have!

Great app but no way to pay to get rid of the ads. In app purchase or pro version would be nice and would make the review a 5 star.

We’re in North Dakota and it’s rare we get to see it but we do thanks to AuroraForecastAlerts!

AuroraForecastAlerts has gone into hyper mode - I shut off all notifications, but it still pings me with alerts (it’s 1:35am, at this moment). Help! When I do go up to the WI Northwoods, I’d love to use this, but meanwhile I need my sleep! I have no choice but to delete this.
