Articles contain links to and are sourced from suspicious websites and clicking on a link in an article will give you a pop-up that says “Your iPhone has been HACKED”. Use at your own risk. I for one, do not trust this app after getting a message telling me my phone is hacked while using the app and clicking to read one of the feature stories. Also many stories have links which when clicked give pop-up advertising offers to enter contests “Win A free Rolex” (better known as give us your email and we will give you some malware). Article summaries use poor grammar and am guessing they must be written by an AI. All around interesting concept but shady execution. Nothing but a waste of time.
Update: Developer response is disingenuous and not accurate. Articles, not all, but definitely some of them are linked to scammy/suspicious web sites as I stated in original review. I stand by my original review. And to the developers: I have zero interest in helping you “fix” a problem you deny exits. I have less than zero interest in helping you fix your business model.
Slow and Biased

I make app for a living and this one is garbage, I tap one of their click bait headline notifications and it literally takes 30 seconds before I stop seeing a white screen… I have 1gbps WiFi and a brand new iPhone so it’s not me.
Secondly they try to claim to be unbiased but it’s extremely evident what side of the aisle the investors/creators of this app are on (LEFT)
The majority of their mass push notifications are either equivalent to reading a gossip tabloid or an echo chamber of covid/vaccine propaganda

I’m not sure why everyone is fawning over this app. In the course of an entire days news cycle, I only see 15 to 20 new news stories. Is that all that happened in the world today? And yes I selected all of the news topics.
As for the nine second articles, isn’t that what headlines are for?
And finally, asking for a Facebook or Google sign in, simply means they’re farming your personal data for cash!
