Key Benefits of Tuscany Villa

- I love the notes that Laura has while you are picking out the furniture and decor for the Hotel.

- The levels are fairly easy, some take a little more effort to get through but it’s not totally impossible like some other games.

- The graphics are great and I love the options for renovating they give.

- The dialogue reads natural, the characters look like they could be in a Pixar short, and the option to dress up characters in different outfits is a nice touch.

- Puzzle variety isn’t bad either. Matching pipes for the hotel is surprisingly satisfying. Match 3 levels are challenging as they’re supposed to be.

Excellent Game Play But Still Deleting

I am current on level 954. It has been a good little time killer, so far. I have spent some money but not because it was necessary to win any games. Unfortunately, the game has gotten to the point where it is no longer rewarding to play. Almost every level now takes way more than 5 lives to complete. Unless you are willing to sink days worth of play time on one level, I imagine you'll either spend money or quit the game. I am quitting the game.

That being said, it was my favorite of this company's games, so far. They've removed a lot of the annoying stuff but much still remains. You almost NEVER get in game special items (although they are generous with pre-game items). This is a common money-making technique but even when they do pop up for sale, the deals are rarely worth the money.

There are many ways to get more time but mostly you cannot control WHEN you accept the time. I'm still waiting on a game that will let you save time until you can actually sit and play. When I play, I'm killing time waiting for a meeting to start. I'm not going to be able to commit to 45 minutes, but later in the day I might be. This is just a missed opportunity for sales as far as I can see, but I'm not an expert in the psychology of micro transactions and mobile games. All I know is it doesn't work on me. I just stop playing. If none of these things bother you, download away! You'll probably love it.

More levels please?

I’m totally addicted! In fact, I just finished lvl 1211 (and still in the middle of cleaning up the suite). All of a sudden, boom! I hit the end of levels!!! Excuse me??? Prepping the suite for Cecilia only just got started! Get more levels so that I can finish the room get Cecilia to come and get Olivier to come back! Took one star off for leaving me hanging, otherwise I love the game and the story! To make the game a bit better, here’s a few minor complaints for the game developers: 1. The unlimited life/super item timer running while the story is loading is also a huge problem. 2. You give too few coins for each level and the special items drop too rarely. 3.Some chapters are too long, because the story needs to replace 2 of the same items and each one of them require me to finish 3 levels…that’s too much, and that’s when I want to quit. 4. Some levels have 2 boards, you need to finish the first board to get to the second board. Why can’t my special items from first board get to transferred to the second board? Bummer. 5. I didn’t connect to my fb accnt so I never get any messages. Can you create some fake accnts to be my friends who I can ask for lives? Try to learn from sgr rush plz. 6. If a level is really fun and I want to play that level again or I want to challenge my friend to play that level, I can’t. Would be nice to have a re-visit.

REALLY?!

I’m super frustrated, because I keep playing levels, and it’ll come down to needing just one more move, to finish the level, but I am at zero/no more moves. This has happened at least 50 times, considering how many times I play each level. I just cleared level 600, and I really like the structure of how the pieces move, unlike any of the other matching games, especially how you can move power ups around the board without activating them. But there are other times where you really do need to go into the game with power ups, which means you have to spend money, in order to clear the levels. I’m getting really frustrated. I’m almost ready to toss the game, and not play it anymore. It’s very manipulative, and very sneaky, to require your players to buy power ups before you head into a challenging level. And don’t try to say that this isn’t happening, because it is! Just because I don’t have power-ups, going into a challenging level, doesn’t mean I have to be punished, and required to play a level 15 times (for example), to meet the goals of that level. Meanwhile, everyone who spends money to play this game, and is able to go into levels with power ups, they’re being rewarded by not having to play a level as many times in order to meet the goals. I know this because I’ve had to buy power ups to clear certain levels. I don’t want to play the same board 15+ times! SUPER FRUSTRATING!!

Unlike anything!

I love a good match 3 design/decorate game! Out of all the ones I’ve tried and played(I’m very picky about which ones I keep)(Not including this one I have 4 match 3 design games) Tuscany Villa is unlike any match 3 design I have ever played, (I love the ones I currently have) but what makes this one different is the notes that Laura has while you are picking out the furniture and decor(plants and everything!) for the Hotel! I’ve never seen a game do that before!!! And another thing is the way they make you a part of the game, you get to choose how a conversation will go, also the fact that you get to help with stuff, something fell on the ground and is covered in leaves? You are the one removing the leaves. The window is dusty? You are the one who gets to clean it! Never have I played a match 3 game where you get to do more than play levels and choose the decor.. this game is unlike anything I’ve ever played and I highly recommend this app to anyone.

Addictive, great graphics, BUT so frustrating!!

I switched to this game after being a loyal, now bored, Lily’s Garden player. I love that Tuscany allows you to decorate the inside AND outside. Great graphics, good storyline. HOWEVER, be warned it requires a lot of patience and it is seriously frustrating, as most of the boards are very difficult. I have played boards for an hour or more, or more than one session, and I still only get that one point, regardless the difficulty. Now figure almost every item or activity takes 2-3 points to get. And it’s inconsistent with how many points are used for different items. Three points just to pick up a fallen picture, but maybe 2 points to replace a floor? The order of what you need to do things is also weird; why do you need a couch in the kitchen when you don’t even have a proper table to work on? It also tries to overstuff the rooms with unnecessary items which need more wasted points. Your room has a gift basket. Why then do you need a rolling cart of snacks for that same room? Overall, I’m really getting into an addiction, but playing the same board 15 times will get old fast.

Too little too late

I normally love this game, and while repeatedly waiting a week for new levels each week is frustrating - it’s usually worth it and I get to play at least ten or so new levels/games before having to wait another week for another update. However, the most recent update was incredibly disappointing. The game description says they added 50 new levels but that’s simply not true - after playing just FIVE games I was told that I had played every new level and had to wait another week for another update. I was literally only able to earn five stars and just make two minor furniture updates to the opera singers suite. This is particularly disappointing considering how long we’ve had to wait for updates while fixing this specific room - it seems like I’ve been stuck on the opera singers room for months while updates slowly roll out just a few at at a time each week. I’m willing to keep playing and be patient if the weekly updates are at least substantial - but this weekly update was an all time low. Five new levels?! That’s it?? And why on earth are you claiming to have added fifty - that’s categorically false. Please do better at adding more levels each week or I’m going to have to delete and give up on this particular Reno game.

A great game that could be made even better with a few perks!

I’m really enjoying this game! I’ve played a lot of matching/renovation games in my spare time and it’s definitely one of my favorites so far because the harder levels aren’t stupidly hard to the point of frustration... at least not yet. I’ve actually stopped playing other matching games in the past because, though I love a good brainteaser challenge, they’ve taken the fun right out of the game with super hard and seemingly impossible levels. (Judging by other users’ reviews, it does seem to get much harder which I really hope isn’t true; we do play these games to relax, after all.) My issue with Tuscany Villa right now is how quickly the lives are used up and how difficult it is to have them replenished either in gameplay or by friends. I also feel like “infinite life boosts” are hard to come by and the 30 minutes go by too quickly! Give us more rewards too. More stars. More boosts. Otherwise, I’m pretty pleased so far. I also love how much more interactive it is compared to its competitors.

Great game! One thing missing though

I absolutely love this game, the only thing missing is a team feature. I don’t have any friends who play so I have no one to request lives from. The levels are fairly easy, some take a little more effort to get through but it’s not totally impossible like some other games. The graphics are great and I love the options for renovating they give. I do wish that the free 30 minutes of unlimited lives we get could be started and stopped or activated when we choose. I don’t always have that amount of time to devote to the game so I feel it gets wasted a lot. Other than the team feature and the unlimited lives this is an absolutely amazing game to play!

Great story>>Great Games..BUT MONEY PIT

I love this game and the wonderful story that goes with it! The only reason I will not give it a five rating is because it is a MONEY PIT! When you get to high levels like the 700’s you can hardly make a game without paying real money for 5 measly tries!!! The game has become predictable the helps (bees, bombs, torpedos, or twisters, hardly show up until you are just about out and you have one or two left and they never show up where you can use them then the human physic kicks in and says “awe I am so close” and that is how you get people to “buy”. Because I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game and refuse quit playing and to buy any more and now I just studying how this game works and you eventually let me win that game after a couple of days!!! Not much fun any more but I have fallen in love with your sweet characters and will continue to play but people should know this game could cost a lot of real money if not careful!!!!

Fun but frustrating

The game started out fun, but like most games of this variety the levels became increasing difficult and the rewards fewer. The so called Hard Levels became more frequent, and the cost of gameplay increased (it cost like 1 star to put a floor down in reception but 3 to put one in the cafe).

I’m always amazed that these game say they are for ages 4+. Maybe I’m just really bad at this but I would think that this would be too hard for a young person to play.

I’m still plugging away, but if things keep going like this I may end up giving up. I play games to relax, not get wound up and frustrated.

Update: I’m afraid that I’m about ready to delete this game. I like it in theory, but it’s just becoming too frustrating to play. Even the “non-hard” levels are just too challenging to play. Sometime it takes up to a dozen attempts to pass one level. I play games to relax, and this game is no longer relaxing. Maybe if you could earn power ups like bombs or something when you beat the hard levels it might make it worth it, but right now I just no longer enjoy it.

Maybe the game is fine. Maybe I’m the problem. I wouldn’t mind if it only took a few tries to beat a level, but I spend one or two days sometimes trying to earn one star, and it takes two or three stars to replace a table. Just not fun anymore.

TuscanyVilla

I love this game and I’ve reported this before but I’m STILL unable to open the game and play since I did the update you provided!!!😡😡😡I finally deleted the game thinking since I had saved my progress that I could resume from where I had left off, which was the end of Chapter 10. But nooooo it started from the very beginning, which really upset me after all the money I’ve spent on this game but I played back up to 89 and I’m frozen out again and after five days I continue to be frozen out. I play two other games that I love so I guess I’ll have to continue with those. I do intend to let others know what’s happening so they don’t get taken like I have been. It such a same because I really enjoyed playing. I’m retired and on a fixed income yet I gave up other things so I could have a little joy in my life

and....deleted

UPDATE: finally had to delete after the latest shameless cash grab. Good luck with the game, folks.

Come on guys, this is a good game. I know you’re having trouble putting out content because of the coronavirus, but level 504 is a complete insult and you should be ashamed to have put it online. Let me know when you get a twitter account so I can contact you more in-depth. Thanks.

UPDATE: Great canned response 🙄. I don’t do Facebook, and you don’t do well at responding to the constructive criticisms people provide. If you’re going to make the levels this absurdly difficult you need to add at least small rewards along the way for the sheer amount of time it takes to beat levels. There should be a small coin reward when you fail a level, I think it should be based on the number and type of “special symbols” you use in a level, but giving a few coins for trying would make coming back to these nearly impossible levels a little more interesting. Also, the board layout is too close to the edge (at least on iphone 11) so when you make matches at the edge you get taken out of the game completely—this happens a lot.

Like I said, it’s a good game, and I’ve made purchases in it to support the work you’re doing, but you’ll find if you don’t listen to your customers your support will evaporate quickly. Your response to me in no way encourages me to raise my star rating, which is something I’d like to do in the future.

Don’t waste your time

I really enjoyed this game up until level 350 when I realized there is no more point in playing when the levels get extremely difficult and you still only get one star for completing the level (and to fix some things require 3 stars, so that can take days). I love the concept of the game. I’m Italian so I thought it would be fun game to fix the villa. I didn’t know it would be a copy of candy crush. A positive though is they offer infinite lives often, but they usually add up quickly so you need to be able to sit down and play the game for 1+ hours to benefit from this (and still even then maybe you will only gain 2 stars on difficult levels).
It would be more beneficial if more stars could be gained as the difficulty of the challenges increases, especially as like to fix the stairs costs 3 stars, which is insane. And even to go to the next chapter costs you one star. For what?!!!

Good game, but glitches kinda takes the fun out of it

I have been playing this game for a while, and I love it however… I’ve been on the same level (that I’ve actually beaten three times) because when I get to the end the game freezes up. When I try to restart it, it restarts me from the beginning. At one point I had even use some of my special help (that I paid for) and end up losing it, even though I won the game. After that I lost interest, so I don’t play it as much as I used to. Every once in a blue moon I’ll go back to see if the glitch is gone. It’s still a good game they just need to fix the glitches so it’ll be a fun good game. 👍🏿
I ended up deleting the game because the glitch would not let me go any further. It is sad because it was one of the games I played everyday. Hope they can work things out in the future.

Best game in this genre.

I’ve been around the block when it comes to these types of games. This is the best one. The dialogue reads natural, the characters look like they could be in a Pixar short (best complement I can give) which is rare to find in these games weirdly enough, and the option to dress up characters in different outfits is a nice touch. Puzzle variety isn’t bad either. Matching pipes for the hotel is surprisingly satisfying. Match 3 levels are challenging as they’re supposed to be. But it’s like Candy Crush, for some reason, no matter how annoyed a level makes you, it’s guaranteed you’ll come back for more. The developers of Homescapes, Gardenscapes, and Wildscapes could learn a thing or two from this!

Good time wasting game, except

I do enjoy the game for the most part. Rather slow moving, but an ok story line. The major annoyance is the “multi panel” levels where you finish one panel and it slides to the next. Developers, why have a multi panel level if all the things you created on the first panel go away when it slides to the next? Those are essentially their own levels then, because all your special items you’ve created to help yourself win a level are gone. Yep, hate that part. Really REALLY HATE that part. Almost enough to delete the game. Time will tell..if it didn’t do that, I would give a higher rating. There are plenty of hard levels without out this…
Also, can I not just get a regular update that downloads in the background! I open the game and that’s when it updates…very, very, very slowly. Irritating.

5/5 Really, you should play

NONE of the silly gimmicks from other match games. The mechanics are so easy and I LOVE being able to go back and change up design choices at any time. I feel like the levels are weighted appropriately against gold. It’s just such a fun time and I’ve never loved a matching game so much. It’s ahead of its time. Also, it’s beautifully animated and I love the occasional conversation selector and mini game. Wish there were more of those too!

My only gripe is that the Jack caravan guy adds about 5 secs to the start of EVERY level with his little informative graphic. After playing so many levels, I GET IT.

I never bother leaving reviews so you know it’s def worth giving it a try. :D

Small bug I found

Hello, I enjoy your game very much, my only problem is the small error I found.
When you wait too long in making a match the game will give you a helpful hint at a possible match. Lately since the last update it will give me hints that are not possible (like a carrot being swapped into a place that is 2 spaces away from a possible match, and therefore I can’t match it. Or two nearby veggies glowing, showing that there is a match, when there is no other veggie around to match it, or it shows a match that would otherwise work if there wasn’t a box in the middle of it.)
Thank you so much for all your hard work and making this game!!! :)

Make it attainable

This game is fun but the Hard levels are discouraging. I appreciate the variety of difficulty, but there is no incentive for me to keep playing if all of my resources get used up on one game. All of my lives, plus a coin refresh of lives, plus free 30 min intervals, occasional boost tools, and none can get past. It becomes not fun. Create an algorithm in there that detects the play on one level and throw a player a bone! Losing interest playing the same over an over. Another option would be to have the Hard levels if you want to keep them difficult be worth 4 or 5 stars. Something that will at least move the decorating along.
Thanks for the condsideration!

Best game of this kind

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to for this one. It is the best candy crush style game I’ve ever played, and I’ve tried a lot. The levels aren’t too hard yet they are challenging. The game won’t let you be stuck on any one level for too long before giving you the option to watch and ad for some extra moves. They are always having events going on that reward you with unlimited lives for certain amounts of time. And the best part of the whole thing NO ADS unless you decide you are gonna watch it for extra lives. I know I probably sound like a bot at this point but I’m truly very pleased with this game.

By

Refreshing

I’ve played a good handful of these style of games, where you complete a puzzle to earn points to decorate, but I’ve never played one as wonderful as this one! I find that other games like this often lack; either in artwork, world building, or plot, but this one has it all! The art is gorgeous and so detailed, and the world feels so real, right down to the little notes about customization options and other details that similar games just rarely include. Not to mention the options for customizing are actually visually appealing, which is less common than it should be. I don’t often leave reviews, but I had to on this one!

No new Season for or a year. No one will give us an answer if there will be a new season, this game has gotten stupid

Can you please explain why the game just suddenly ends?? It's a great game, good storyline and lots of potential to keep you going, but just like that it's finished!

When will more tasks be available? I’m on level 1995 and I can still play but cannot complete task in the Villa.
