I love this game and am totally addicted to it but I’m on level 72 and often find myself totally stuck. I then watch a hint, which by the way is the same video every time, but then the hint is something that i am positive nobody would think of. I keep finding myself very aggravated by how hard these are. I have also gotten tired of all the ads, yes i could pay to not have ads but i would rather not. I understand having to watch a ad for a hint but to unlock the next floor is insane. I have to wait up to 4 hours to get the the next floor, there is no purpose to that at all. Also i have to watch a video to claim the skins I EARNED! This game overall thought if fun and would recommend if you are very smart or are okay with watching hours of the same ad worth of hints.

I downloaded the game and thought it was going to be a cool puzzle game where you explore, collect keys and unlock doors (on your own). Well it is, except there’s this tutorial-like dialogue text that pops up and tells you what to do every step of the way. Sometimes there is an actual riddle to solve, but mostly the game plays with you. For example, it has you looking forever for a key that isn’t there and it says ‘you’ll need a hint’… when you hit the ‘hint’ button it just gives you the key. It’s that tongue in cheek teasing that made me uninstall the game. I wanted a simple adventure game to pass the time, but instead I got a game poking at my intelligence and then making me watch ads just to tell me what I couldn’t possible know anyway. Take away the dialogue and let the player figure out simple puzzles and you have yourself a game. I gave it 3 stars for the cool controls and graphics. But minus 2 for gameplay.

This is a great game, most of the time. Most of the levels involve solving puzzles by manipulating objects, or thinking outside the box. However, the author has become carried away on some levels, reverting to jumping over moving objects while riding a moving conveyor belt, or avoiding bosses while going round and round the screen while avoiding bad guys. Please, if the level requires specific timing to be successful, it is a Mario adventure game, and not what the game had intended to be. It is satisfying to solve the clever levels, which do comprise most of the game. These other levels are frustrating and out of place. Others have complained about the 4 clocks which make you wait or pay. If you don’t want to pay, just put the game away until tomorrow. It will be there ready to solve more puzzles, except for those awful Mario levels.

First of all the adds this game is unlike others because it doesn’t have a lot of adds in it so it makes it really fun and the no adds aren’t too much to pay for anyways I don’t think you would need them anyways I’m a nine year old writing this review right now and I asked my dad to try this game and he absolutely loved it. This game has great quality and if the creator see’s this I would like and enjoy a part two of this game I also think that this kind of has a story to it that it will eventually continue into a series of games that get better each time and really famous as well like different YouTubers playing. I bet if some random person tried this game they would also right a great review because I personally think that this game deserves great ratings. Also this is a fact when I was doing the levels it reminded me of Harry Potter lol! I would really like to add more costumes to the game I got all of them in a few days but I think the designs are really creative and all in all it’s a great game please download it and enjoy playing your new amazing puzzle game. 🙂

I loved playing this game! (already finished it 🙌🏻) It’s super addictive! Some of the levels were tricky, but I’m glad they included the hint (even with the ad; it’s not super annoying and plays long ads). I liked that it really made you think and try to overcome the obstacles. There were— I think 2, or 3?—levels that made you go back to the home page and get a gear from the settings, or turn a clock, which was kind of annoying, but it was only a few so it was okay. Overall, this game is super addictive and I finished it in 3 weeks. I wish you there were more castles (levels) to do after the stars. But I really enjoyed this game! (Also, I never experienced any buffering or bugs.) LOVE IT! ❤️🙌🏻✨

I've played through it several times and recommended it to a couple of my friends as well. But it started acting up where it won't open up TrickyCastle and show the start screen. When I click on it, if seems like it will load but once the "unity" company screen goes by it stays on a completely black screen, as if I've turned off my phone. I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling it a couple times to see if it works with no success. And after a year or so of leaving it off my phone I just reinstalled to find the same outcome. I have no clue what's going on and I'm really sad cuz I love this game. Is there a way to fix this?

This is a great game, and I enjoy it very much. I love how much you need to trick your brain into doing the right thing, even though I can’t get through level 100 on the Princess Castle, I’ve enjoyed all of the other levels in the Witch Tower and the Starry Sky. It’s truly so much fun and I loved it so very much. I definitely recommend it if you have nothing to do or if you are interested in brain games. If anything this game deserves my 5 star review and I hope to play it again. Collecting stars ⭐️ is so fun and even if you have to skip a level, you still will have lots more of fun levels to complete, enjoy playing this mind blowing game and have a very good rest of your day!

This game is amazing!!! I absolutely love it and it is always fun to play in your free time! It encourages people to think outside of the box, which makes us smarter! This game can be REALLY fun when you need something to do. For example, this game 100% cures my boredom ! It’s a great game for people who are good problem solvers. The only problem is that there is a lot of ads. But still— that doesn’t change the fact that I LOVE it!! Other than that, there is fun level, cute characters, and crazy fun levels. I would totally recommend downloading it. Also, when you’re stuck on a level, don’t worry. The developers made a feature where you can watch an advertisement for a hint. But believe me, the hints aren’t those clues where they don’t even help, these ones help me a lot! I think it’s a great game and this team did an outstanding job with the game. So besides the ads, don’t just stand there… download it! It really tricks your brain and lets you think outside the box! Amazing job with the graphics and ideas!! 👍

I honestly wasn’t thinking I’d be as far into this game like I have been. Love it, 10/10, graphics are great, the puzzles are sometimes unexpected, or very common sense, which gets you because you’re trying all the different ways when it’s just super easy. Makes you think a lot differently than when you begin. Beat the whole game, princess tower, star levels, and witches tower, and about to run through it again! Only thing is, all the ads. Not sure how the Ad premium thing is, but for being free, the ads are just going to happen either way. I’d recommend this game to anyone that wants a challenge, and want something to pass the time with, this is definitely the game for you!

This is a great game with really clever puzzles in it. If you get stuck, there are hints you can use by either watching ads, or if you pay the $2, it unlocks everything with unlimited hints, no ads, no waiting to do the next level. With so many crappy mobile games out there trying to charge $4-6 or more, this game does it right with the price. Definitely worth $2 to unlock everything and just have fun. Some of the answers to the puzzles are really tricky, like where you have to exit back to the main menu to finish the puzzle. I don't see how anyone could have figured those out without a hint. But I really enjoyed this game, and can't wait until they add more levels to it.

Okay. So I know it sounds like that doesn’t mean much, as most mobile games are either idle or playing online, but this one has a full level systems instead of games by, say, Voodoo. This game has an entire storyline as well, and real dialogue! And that is extremely rare in a mobile game. But let’s talk about the gameplay. Oh...the gameplay. The puzzles in this game are all different and unique, and they all look very detailed and polished. And the skins? Well, there are only twelve and they may not be the best, but there are a select few I like. But what about the people that don’t like puzzle games? Well, they can rejoice at the awesome platforming aspect and the variety of areas. So overall, I would recommend this game to ANYONE.

I really hope they make more levels but for now there are a lot of levels unless your like me and practically in love with this game! I would give it 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 and so many more stars! There are only 4 different controls so it is not at all hard to play, the graphics are amazing and the noises! This game is full of surprises and I don’t need to explain. Just find out yourself!!!!!!! And If you don’t have this game your insane!! 🤣😁😊🙃

P.s to the creators. I love this game and it’s very creative! But can you please please please make new levels! I can’t wait to play this even more, with new discoveries and I know it will take time because this game has amazing graphics And the gameplay is awesome! Have a good day! 😄

This game made you think outside the box, and if you’re stuck, there are hints you can use. Some of the hints were just straight up answers, so I wish they could make those a little more cryptic, rather than just telling you how to do it.

There were a lot of ads, but that is to be expected of a free game.

People complain about the locks that hold you back, however, I thought it was a good reminder to take a break every now and again, however, if you wanted to go through the locks, you didn’t have to pay, you just had to watch more ads.

I wasn’t a fan of the ‘skill’ levels, where you didn’t have to think outside the box, you just had to time things just right. Good Example of this is the last level in the Princess Castle when you fight the final boss. I didn’t like that level.

The game didn’t really have an ending, is there a second one? The witch never told us how to get the crystals. The bad guy never came back. The game kinda just stopped... I got all the stars and all the bats and beat every level...so, I hope they are just in the process of adding more.

I guess we’ll see - Rating: 5 stars from me

I have been looking for a game like this one for the longest time. I got rid of social media a bit back, so I’ve gotten a lot of mobile games to pass time during lulls during school and such, and this one has surpassed all of them. Free games usually shove ads down your throat constantly, but this one was either every time you completed a level (not every time you messed up thank goodness) or if you chose to, such as to speed up the lock process, get hints, or find stars. Golly, and the levels are so fun!!! This is the type of puzzle game I’ve been looking for. No weird horny, cheating levels, no glitches that make it hard to touch certain buttons. The little knight is so cute, and the dialogue is actually pretty funny. The Super Mario vibe to this game really sold it for me, as well as the interesting and original puzzles. Just all around such an amazing game. Good job guys!!!

I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review for an app before so this should tell you how much I love this game. All the levels were interesting and promoted a lot of thinking. They weren’t “cheaty” with dumb answers but still made you think outside the box. I can just tell the developers cared a lot about this game because it shows so much during game play. I am so excited for new levels to come out and I love this game so much I even spent money to avoid the ads and locks, though they weren’t inconvenient as much as I’m just impatient lol. I actually like the lock system a lot because it didn’t request money but rather, you could just get through by watching some ads. They also didn’t shove ads down your throat which i really appreciated. I just love this game so, so, much and I literally can’t wait for the next update with more levels ahhh it’s just the best and I’d recommend it to anyone :D

Getting started confused the ever loving heck outta me… and I LOVED it! And I STILL love it! I understand it a bit better now so I know to try more than just what you’d expect… I absolutely love the “things are not always as they seem” edge! Sometimes the solution is SO simple that I find myself WAY overthinking it, but once I find it (or watch the ad for a hint), I’m totally amused by how clever and “outside the box” it was! I’ve definitely laughed out loud a few times lol. My 9 year old son loves sitting by me and trying to figure it out too! SO much fun, and a great way to get not only my brain gears turning, but my kid’s too! It is totally addicting, not gonna lie… I actually appreciate that there’s a wait time between sections cuz it makes me stop for a bit to actually get things done. 🤣 FANTASTIC game!! So glad it was a suggested app in an ad for a different game I play… which I rarely play anymore cuz I love this one so much!! Awesome… THANK YOU DEVS!

Tricky Castle is one of the best smart phone games I’ve ever played. The over all execution of this game was great. The simplicity in the graphics, gameplay and general concept of the game made it easy to comprehend and learn quickly. The best benefit of the simplicity of these aspects allowed for greater potential for complexity in the puzzles. The experience of playing this game was great, while the focus of the game was truly the puzzles, there was a minor story line that never overtook the main intention of the game.

I can also truly appreciate the simplicity in the mechanics of the game which gave opportunity for additions of mechanics within the ‘which tower’. The new but simple mechanics have a refreshing challenge to the game as new puzzles became possible and a new perspective became more necessary to finish each level.

Over all loved the game, found it incredibly entertaining while challenging, while somehow retaining the sense it is beatable. Truly a well made game.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. Love the fact that is reminds me a bit of early version of Mario. There is a game with in a game: looking for stars and going through the witches tower to get to the final battle. I also love that there is an end. Some games are annoyingly endless but this is really nice that it ends with a sense of accomplishment. It makes me look forward to the next update. But I also like that you can reset your progress and play the whole game start to finish over again. Very very well thought out game and very creatively executed. The master mind behind the game has a great mind for puzzles and mystery. Really makes you think outside the box to solve. Yet I love the simplicity of it. Challenging to play but the controls are easy use. Very little instructions needed. Anyone could play but plenty of challenge for all.

Take your time on the next update because I know it will be well worth it and it won’t disappoint.

I can’t wait for more levels and the ending! This game was wonderful it makes you think and it still super fun and interactive. I think the authors of this game put some real effort into this one and it shows! I would highly recommend playing this game and it seems the authors took pride in it too because you can play the whole thing for free. I beat every level and had a blast doing it.

There are some difficult levels but that just makes it better. All these apps these days are stupid easy so you beat them quick and watch more adds. While this game does have adds if your not willing to shell out $2 for the whole game!!! Like less than a gallon of gas guys, it doesn’t make you watch them all the time or every time you die. Just when you move on a level or need a hint. Seriously this game is so entertaining and just all around very well done. To the developers, amazing job guys your game is great please work on making some more!!!

I honestly really love this game. At first, the levels seem quite easy. But, as you progress onto the more challenging levels or 'towers' require you to think, a lot harder.
Upon downloading this game, I thought it would be an easy, somewhat "kid-ish" game. After playing for a bit I have come to realize quickly that i was very wrong. I've played this game for 2 days straight and I'm still not ready to stop.
This game also requires you to take "brain-breaks." In between 'chapters' , 'levels' , or 'towers' as the game portrays them to be.
Here's what i mean: The game progressively makes the time in which the levels open, in order for you to play them, longer and longer. This is somewhat annoying, but also very efficient in making sure users are not on their device too much. And/Or playing the game for consecutive hours/minutes.
Not to mention, the skins. The game allows users to watch videos for super cute as well as 'fun' , new characters or skins. Some of them are scary, some of them are cute, and some are in between. This gives users a sense of individuality in the game, i would say.
Overall, I love love love this game. And I do recommend people play it, if they love a good storyline, challenge.

I think this game is great and a great game to get your brain going in the morning or to keep you entertained during the day but there’s two things I don’t like about it, these two things are very small but I am gonna put them out there so you know. So one of the things is that I feel like some of the rooms are a little too difficult, like I am on level 99 and I get that’s a very high-level but it’s still very very hard. The second thing I don’t love about it is it has a little too many ads but if you think that’s a problem too I have a trick to get them to stop. If you have an Apple iPad or Apple phone then go to the top right hand corner and swipe down, or if you have an Apple phone then go to any area on the bottom and swipe up. So now you should have a small bubble with a thing to keep track of your volume, your brightness, something that says your battery and then on the left there should be a square bubble with four circles and one of them has an airplane on it, tap on that, and make sure after you tap on it that the bubble with a Triangle with the curved side is either off or has a cross through it and the bubble with a almost complete circle is also off and then play the game. After you’ve done all that there should be much less adds.

This game is so addicting! I don’t usually pay for apps but this is one where it really did make the experience better. To get all the bats & stars, you’ll probably have to go back to levels. Not having ads just makes that process easier. Plus, it’s such a great game that it didn’t feel like it hurt my pocket. I can’t wait for new levels!

Also, if you don’t want to pay then you just have to watch ads every now and then and for hints. There’s also a time lock between “floors” of the castle that you don’t have to wait for if you just pay. I waited for the few floors but then decided the $2 is worth it for TrickyCastle .

Ok to start I really love this game, the idea and game in general is a fun concept however when I realized how many adds the developers put in the game it became a huge problem. The amount of adds got me very annoyed and frustrated. Every time I finish a level an add would play and every time I get to a new floor of the castle I had to either watch an add or wait and I am talking long 30 second adds. This problem made the whole game very frustrating to play. Now to the developers- Please note I love your game and I really hope that you fix this issue in the future.
