8x8 Meet Reviews

(UPDATED BELOW) 8x8Meet works okay, comparable to Zoom and the other tools. However, it only works in landscape mode on iPad and 8x8Meet icon is named rather ambiguously as "VideoMeetings", which makes it hard to find amidst the others. I'll use this for interviews, but not for much else.

(UPDATE) I'd like to be able to respond to the developers who reached out for the original review. Unfortunately, the 8x8 app doesn't have a settings wheel on the top right corner. Because I only use this for interviews, I don't have an account and join videos as a guest. I assume without logging in, I can't see the settings wheel they mentioned. I've reached out for support by their website to overcome these issues.

This product is so easy to use and has awesome features. Highly recommend it!

The website and app descriptions here just want you to sign up , try it without any details on prices or even the basis of how it will be priced given before you log in. I won’t waste time demoing and testing somethings that screams “beartrap!” even if it isn’t, because it’s hiding something

I wish 8x8Meet the best in the future. However, recently I tried to use 8x8Meet on my phone and it was difficult and after multiple attempts ultimately unsuccessful. I hope this feedback is given respond as well.

8x8Meet is very easy to use and quality is great as well.

This would be a good app, but not having screen recording in iOS is a deal breaker considering Zoom/RingCentral meetings already has that capability. Many meetings require sharing on-screen work while discussing.

It has been two months sense it has functioned to have a face to face video chat with the doctors, would suggest you use another application if possible

So I was trying out 8x8Meet to see if it was legit and I put in Test for the meeting and went to the next screen to invite people then it said anthony joined the meeting and this asian fella popped on my screen. Shocked I immediately hung up and deleted 8x8Meet . Secure my a$!!

8x8Meet won’t let me sign up. It’s giving me the run around. It’s making me frustrated. 8x8Meet is useless.

Although 8x8Meet works great on Android, I have yet to be able to even login on iphone. Every time I click the button to login, I'm redirected to an error page on a 3rd party authorization site.

Disappointing when looking for a zoom alternative.
