NorthwestDating isn’t easy to use, I couldn’t even set up my profile properly. It looks decent, but that’s only if the person has good quality pictures. Every time I wanna swipe right on a person, it won’t let me, instead it asks me to pay. Also, it wouldn’t let me select days I was free or busy because I had too many filters? But all I had were the age filters on? In short, NorthwestDating was too difficult to use and it feels like I have to pay to even use it.

I found NorthwestDating and created a profile. But very soon after was hit with a prompt to allow tracking. I didn’t want to. Maybe other apps do it but they aren’t asking. Anyway I declined and was immediately banned. Which is fine. I’ll just remove my pics and profile....nope. Can’t do that because customer service will do nothing to remove the ban. I’ve asked 3 times. I guess they just want to collect pics like the other scammers do...

Low contrast text/background makes much of the text difficult to impossible read; it's somewhere between inefficient and unmanageable to have to change one's accessibility settings just for one app, and then back after using NorthwestDating only briefly

Doesn't take Apple text size options into consideration when doing layout so that some text or photos go off the side of the screen and can't be seen in their entirety.

This kind of thing isn't just an mere whim or convenience for some of us, rather it's the difference between us using an app, or not.

I created an account, swiped less than ten times, and got notified I was banned and had to email them for assistance. I hadn’t even made a connection. It took longer to create my profile than I got to use it, so I’m not going to waste my time trying to get my account reinstated. That is unfortunate, as I was looking forward to trying a local area app. I see other reviews that they ban so many people, but it sounds like you need better filters in place rather than just banning everyone.

I signed up for NorthwestDating about a week ago. Due to a glitch, however, I was unable to save any pictures in my profile. I have filled out a customer service request twice and emailed the customer support service. No response. I’ve tried to fix it myself many times but no luck. NorthwestDating is attractive and looks like a great option if it works for you. But it is glitchy and you can pay for a month for an unusable service with no support. Buyer beware

Saw a new dating app specifically for the Seattle and figured I’d try it out. Turns out I couldn’t get past the profile creation because NorthwestDating didn’t like that my profile photos were edited iPhone photos or something. Kept giving me an error.

Can’t review the rest of NorthwestDating because I can’t even upload photos. 😂

I really liked the concept of NorthwestDating, the use of availability and preference setting made it really compelling. Unfortunately the overall UX for updating your settings can be cumbersome and not friendly. This happens when my trial expired and I kept getting reminded about my preferences as I was trying to zoom in enough to maybe be able to unselect a zone.

A much better experience would be to not have such specific zone selections, allowing it to be more of a “in Seattle” or “in Bellevue” selector. Then let premium be hyper specific. Current implementation really lowers NorthwestDating down and makes it super annoying to move between both options.

Free account is a bit restrictive. Pro account is too expensive for the small user base. Also, incessant notifications even though they are turned off in NorthwestDating settings.

Love the idea of an app based in Seattle. Curious to see what age demographic this will be most popular in. App looks great, color, font and most elements are aesthetically pleasing. I do think that NorthwestDating is a bit cluttered; initially kind of confusing to work with. Perhaps a beginning tutorial would help with any kind of confusion and would help preface what NorthwestDating offers. I feel that preferences and the option of editing your profile should be grouped together in order to limit the number of side tabs, just feels like there are too many as I found myself clicking from here to there and here back again. Seemed tedious! I like how there are days of the week to choose for availability, it’s rather unique and I’ve never seen that on another dating app before. I also liked how I could click specific areas in the PNW and decide on where exactly I’d like to meet with someone. Keep up the work!!

I like the concept of NorthwestDating , and saw some interesting people. There was one person that caught my attention and meant to swipe right, but accidentally swiped left and there is no way to go back... I would wish that to be a feature, a go back button. Another thing that I think would be beneficial is a reset button, where you could go back through the people one already swipe left on in case one changed their mind or want to correct a mistake. Just something to consider.

We all know Seattle can be a rough city for love. This is the extra ammunition you need to conquer on the battlefield of love. Even if you’re ugly, might still be able to land that sexy date. Just show you are rich. Easy to sign up and use it.

I downloaded the early access app this summer and went to a few of their events which were well attended. Im blown away at how NorthwestDating looks. Plus the people that made NorthwestDating are always asking for feedback and making changes. Try it out

I enjoy the look and feel of NorthwestDating and it’s easy to navigate. It’s a cool concept that it is local and you can even meet up with people from your neighborhood. The scheduling feature is neat. I’ve had more success using this than other dating apps!

I’ve tried them all, and this one blows them out of the water. You choose the areas you want to date it (so people can’t see where you actually are) and you have to message people so you want to choose only people you’re ACTUALLY interested in. Love it!

ok so I’m not too big into dating apps but this one is different. They always have free happy hours and cool events. It’s nice being able to meet someone in a public setting especially with all the creeps nowadays. It’s a lot more genuine than other dating apps.

Works basically like any other app. Selecting the areas you are „interested“ in is nice. But limited after the free „pro“ or whatever trial is done. Needs more users at this stage. The „about“ areas for accounts needs a bit more contrast or background. Words sometimes blend in depending on the persons picture.

I love the way Northwest Dating App works - it uses AI technology to detect fakes and foreigners so all the userbase is entirely real and local! No more worrying about meeting up with bots or fake profiles - thank goodness! Plus, the interface is super user friendly. Can you guys please add chat read receipts so that I can see when the other person gets messages? Thanks! ‍    

I LOVE that I can select the neighborhoods I prefer to meet up in. Unlike a setting a radius, which results in wasting time swiping on people in areas I don't want to date in (sorry, Bainbridge Island ;), I think this neighborhood selection tool does a better job of streamlining the dating process. NorthwestDating also just looks sexy... really well designed. Makes the other apps look clunky and dated (ha) by comparison. Really nice app!

I can't say enough positive about Northwest Dating! NorthwestDating has transformed my dating experience in the best possible way. With the guarantee of real profiles and no bots or fakes, I feel confident connecting with others. 💯 The subscription is definitely worth paying for, as it unlocks additional features and enhances the overall performance of NorthwestDating . Can't guarantee you'll find love, but it's a good shot‍‍ 

I was happy to learn NorthwestDating works from Tacoma to Everett... at first I thought it was just for Seattle. NorthwestDating has a really good feel to it and the people Ive chatted with seem genuine so far. If you have other dating apps already, youll like this one too
