1. RenoPlan requires you to make an account to try even basic features.
2. RenoPlan doesn’t seem to accept addresses generated by Hide My Email.
This means giving someone my real email to see if an app is even worth my time. Nah. I’ll try again with a different email but I’m not hopeful.
Developers: I am totally cool buying an app. I’m also cool with in-app purchases. What I won’t abide is an app that is functionally useless in its “free” evaluation period. Especially when it demands my personal information before I know if RenoPlan is even one I want to use.
I canceled after the minimum package expired, I’ve just discovered I’m still paying.
I am not able to add door , windows it looks disabled and not showing why and what next
This is weird that an interior measurement tool does not have fractions measurement input nor option to show dimensions in inches only.
Have been using MeasureSquare Mobile edition for years, but this light-weight this app version works better for me as it is easier to use with my Leica Disto meter. I mostly need it to create flooring layout for my contractors and installers for their remodeling and installation work. Pretty easy to pick up for my partners too.
Really love how simple and easy it is to draw a floor plan, make changes and get accurate square footage all in a convenient app!

I’m a fire investigator an I’ve been trialing RenoPlan, I use RenoPlan to recreate fire scenes. RenoPlan has been amazing and I will continue to use it to help me on scenes.
This is by far one of the most simple, intuitive and effective solutions I have used for quickly laying out a floor plan. Even the free version is unbelievably powerful and offers all of the features that most users will need. You can have a 1,000 sq ft basic plan done in a few minutes with very little practice. Only feature I would love to see is a display of the sq ft displayed in each room beneath to measurement.
Wether you’re a noice DIYer (like myself) or a professional installers, RenoPlan has it all. RenoPlan is so easy to use. Only took me a few times to master RenoPlan . I was able to figure out the overall square footages of the house with RenoPlan in minutes!
Just using the free version. Surprising how many useful features are available. Just figuring out new apartment floor - won’t need full pro version. Def worth giving the free version a go.
Compared to a lot of other apps, this one is very accessible. It also doesn’t set you up for a subscription just to learn the ropes. It’s been very useful for my small plan as a homeowner.
I like this floor diagramming effort workflow of setting up this floor. Did my entire house floor plan in less than 4 hours using tape measure with RenoPlan.
Also like the DXF export that is very useful in other app.
A great starter app. Has a fun 3-D but very-simpl3 viewer.
I needed an easy way to map out a house, basically create a floor plan but also with walls and some other details.
I was able to easily do this with a laser and the AR, which was fun.
Being able to see the rooms in 3D made is so much easier to plan out my project and also know the square footages so I could order the correct amount of drywall, paint & even tile for the floors.
Looking forward to using this on my next project which will be some kitchen remodels. The elevation tool looks perfect for this.
RenoPlan is easy to use and very powerful. It doesn’t take much to create diagrams. And the 3d option is very cool.
Also very helpful is the ability to markup photos. This helps to get the max out of projects.
RenoPlan is definitely a keeper on my iPhone!
II found this easy to get started with and for small contractors like myself, I can’t recommend this enough! Powerful features but simple to learn. I was able to measure my house after just a few minutes.
I have tried using several apps to create a simple floor plan to scale for energy modeling and this has been the best by far. Very easy to learn and has great accuracy when calculating sqft and volume. The time saved makes is easily worth the money.
I am a mitigation technician at a small company, so when I enter homes I have to do a detailed “sketch” of the affected areas. Plus the free version works flawlessly.
