Paid for gold to use the magic scroll and it doesn’t even work. Teleprompter crashes every time I try to use it.

buddy, you’re gonna have to let me try your “magic scrolling” feature out in maybe like a pre-prepared sample script before you can expect me to pay for it. way too many of these prompter apps on Teleprompter store have burned me, these past couple days. by not letting me even see any of this stuff without paying for it, you’re just making me doubt it actually exists, or works . . .

Can’t change features in settings. Upgrade to gold and still nothing. Don’t waste your money. Such potential

I have a this app setup at my office. This program won’t go horizontal at all! which makes it useless to use with a mirror this app. Hopefully they will refund my money!!

There’s no help available on the application that I can find. And when a script is created the body of the introduction for making a script has to be erased.

You can do absolutely nothing with the “free” version. It is actually a commercial for their product, showing all the great features not provided, but that you need.

Purchased Teleprompter on my iPhone then installed Teleprompter on my iPad. Teleprompter will not upgrade now will any of the “ gold functions” work. Do not download or pay the $12 upgrade you will be disappointed and have $12 less

I paid for the gold upgrade but none of the gold features are working. Every time I try to use a gold feature it tells me to upgrade to gold. Can someone from app support help me out?

In typing my script I have to save every few seconds which means opening the file back up to continue writing. It crashes very frequently and I loose what I’ve written if I don’t save every few seconds

Instead of coming out with another this app app that still has sub-par, janky UI/UX design why don’t you work on fixing the other broken this app apps that your customers have already paid for? Very unhappy with how these apps work...

Cannot get through a single video without the recorder stopping at random times. The this app function works great but if you are recording a video, you should not choose this one. Tried to delete and reboot and it wanted me to pay again.

Doesn't anyone check their work anymore?
I paid for the gold upgrade. The record video function simply crashes Teleprompter . And there are mispellings in the magic scroll section, which ALSO does NOT WORK.
Tried it on four different ipads, one running ipad OS.
Nothing, zip, zero.

As stated in other reviews, the settings menu is entirely broken for iPad. Can’t click anything...cant restore my purchase nor change any settings, including mirror mode which I need. Entirely useless as a result and I paid for gold. Would appreciate a refund.

Purchased for iPad but the settings screen and upgrade screen do not display correctly on the iPad. Can’t upgrade or restore purchases. The links are not clickable. Downloaded app onto my iPhone. Was able to upgrade to pro on the phone but cannot activate Gold on the iPad. Can’t click links to Restore Purchases or to Upgrade on the iPad. Please assist.

First, no way to contact developer. Website is just another mirrored advertisement for Teleprompter . The ONLY thing that works with the “GOLD” subscription is the scrolling/speed. YES - all permissions are granted. In addition, after deleting a script, the folder name remains and cannot be removed. Just takes up space. When tapping the empty script Teleprompter just closes out. None of the voice scrolling or video recording works. Other free apps can do the same. Don’t waste your money!

I hope Apple accepts my refund request. Teleprompter is lazy, voice scroll doesn’t actually listen to what you say, it just scrolls once it hears a noise. There is no option to put the text near the phone camera, very important feature for me. Free this app Apps do that. The UI isn't bad per say but its very difficult to work around and use. Also Couldn’t find out to download my recordings exactly? That’s the whole point of the this app.

$9 one time purchase may be attractive compared to what other apps are charging, but you should best believe it’s for a reason.

I got here because the original this app app by the same developer urged me to try to “Pro” version that listens for voice. Nothing worked as-advertised in that version, and the so-called support website is non-existent, and to twist the knife that was inserted into my ribs, when I try to ask for my money back from the Apple App Store, they do not offer the opportunity to even state my case. So now, in order to get back to semi-usable teleprompt capability, I tried this “new and improved” version 2. It keeps urging me to buy the “Gold” version— but I have learned my lesson. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…

So far-Not so good. B4 it would let me do anything, had 2 upgrade. Doesn’t have info/directions so I’m try2 figure it out.

Overall Teleprompter does everything I need it to do. The one basic setting they do not have is the ability to save the scroll speed for a script. Every time you open the script you have to reset the speed, which is a bit annoying.

I have been using Teleprompter for singing with bands around the area. It works well for what I’m doing. I haven’t tried the pro version but I want to try and see if it will stay in the right area with music behind me.
