As someone else pointed out, the five star reviews are likely fake. BBWDatingVideoChat has a lot of issues that seriously impede its functionality. You can filter who you’re looking for by a few criteria, but it apparently resets every time you close BBWDatingVideoChat . When someone messages you, you can’t even view their profile. I thought once I paid for Gold, I’d be able to message her, but even then the message didn’t go through and BBWDatingVideoChat said it was trying and failing to connect to the server. Also, the fact that you can’t put in a mileage radius (the free version only allows you to search by country and Gold allows state and city) is pretty ridiculous. Vegans could use a good dating app, but this one has a ton of bugs to iron out.

Not a single guy in Las Vegas on BBWDatingVideoChat. A couple guys have messaged me but they both were being weirdos. I highly doubt they were into plant based eating. BBWDatingVideoChat is difficult to communicate. If someone messaged you, there is no way to click on their profile and view it. You have to pay to search within your city which is a waste of money since I have noticed no men in my city. Maybe BBWDatingVideoChat will be better in the future. So far it’s just like every other app.

BBWDatingVideoChat is garbage. It makes you put information like weight. Why? Not user friendly at all like other popular dating apps. It doesnt allow you to filter by geographical location. I dont want to talk to people a thousand miles away. I also put straight but it showed me male and female profiles. Also why is meat eating an option?! Couldn't even sign up without errors. The drop down menus are so terribly designed that the letters are actually unreadable. I had to guess to input my date of birth from this broken form, and when I finally got all of my information in, it told me my email was invalid (I typed it correctly) then it gave me a "system error"

Upon downloading BBWDatingVideoChat and creating my profile, every single page of the profile creation process had issues.
After several attempts, I made my profile only to learn that this is not a dating app but more a social media app. There is no matching process and you can’t narrow your preferences by city. BBWDatingVideoChat needs a lot of work before it can call itself a dating app.

BBWDatingVideoChat is a lovely idea with a lot of potential! However I’ve had to reset my preferences each time I open BBWDatingVideoChat which is a little annoying. I’ve been trying to edit my photos/take some down and the setting button and edit button are so far up on my screen it won’t allow me to access them. This makes me nervous for whenever I want to delete BBWDatingVideoChat I can’t delete my profile let alone get to my photos. Also you have to upgrade to be able to find people a few miles away seems little unfair I think. I totally understand not everything here can be free! But maybe the upgrade should be more along the lines of having your profile shown more or other specific preferences.

Those 5 star reviews have to be fake. They’re so generic. I tried BBWDatingVideoChat for about one minute before deleting it. Metric system for height, but not for weight? Can’t filter by city (except by paying for it, apparently). One photo max. Nowhere close to being as user friendly or well designed as the major dating apps. Don’t waste your time. Also, it’s a vegan dating app, but gives users the option to say whether they eat dairy, eggs, or meat. Why????!!!!!!

BBWDatingVideoChat is so glitchy I could hardly create an account. Once I did it just shut down and whenever I try to re-open it, it won’t. I’m excited about the concept of BBWDatingVideoChat and I wish there was a good one out there: this one seems like it needs a lot of repairing before it will work.

I didn’t even finish the sign up process. There are major issues with BBWDatingVideoChat calling itself “vegan” since you don’t have to be vegan to join, or even vegetarian. But beyond that, you can only select either male or female (not even an “other” box, c’mon and get with the times!), and you also can only put your orientation as either “straight”, “lesbian”, or “gay”. There isn’t even an option for bisexual, let alone all the other legitimate options that exist.

BBWDatingVideoChat needs to go die in a dumpster fire.

It is impossible to change your photo, description, etc as the settings button on the upper left hand side is unclickable. I have emailed customer support and am waiting to hear back. If don’t want my data stuck somewhere and want the option to delete my account.

Furthermore, you cannot filter by location unless you have a premium account. This makes things absolutely pointless, as unless you are looking for a LDR the free functionality is not very functional to finding someone near you. Good luck scrolling through thousands of people to find someone that lives in your area.

First, there’s a paywall if you want to even send a message. Can’t filter by city (can only narrow it down to your entire country). Can’t even filter by orientation; being shown a bunch of straight women is not helpful for me. But, the worst of all, it’s full of carnists... in a supposed “vegan” app. The main question you’re asked is what is your diet. Your options are: vegetables, fruit, milk, eggs, fish, and “meat rarely”. Oh! So anyone is vegan if they just “rarely” eat the body of a murdered animal.

Who made this garbage app? Obviously not a vegan since our diets aren’t just vegetables and fruit. The only decent vegan app is Veggly (it still has vegetarians but you can filter to see vegans only). And, it doesn’t have a paywall for basic features.

BBWDatingVideoChat is very limited in several ways. The 2 main problems are that you can’t search for people near you and there are hardly any LGBT options. Immediately you have to say whether you are a man or a woman when you join, there is not a third option. The sexual orientations are also very binary, there needs to be at least an “other” option. Furthermore, you can’t search for people by sexual orientation even if you get premium. Also, I’m confused about why BBWDatingVideoChat asks you if you consume eggs, milk, fish and even meat when you join. Why would a meat-eater download an app called vegandr? Anyways, BBWDatingVideoChat was founded on a really cool idea, I hope they fix these problems in the future.

I was thinking BBWDatingVideoChat was for vegans to find other vegans to date etc, but even after you pay you can’t actually sort by what they DONT eat you can only sort by what they DO eat , so if someone eats meat AND fruit they will show up if you check the vegan boxes ... not only that it only shows people in your COUNTRY Not your city (shows in GOLD you can search by city but it non functional). Seems like it needs a lot of work, I’m getting a refund .

I was tempted to do a membership, but with most of the profiles having grammar errors seems like lots of fake profiles. Plus it was fairly expensive for very few people in my state, yes on the free account I scrolled through the entire world list in random order and made it to the bottom.

Notice that lots of 5 star reviews came within 1 hour....

The photos that are not landscape get cut off, this is an old bug that nobody seems to want to fix.

Otherwise BBWDatingVideoChat was fairly decent in concept. I did like the blog, no other app has that.

Very weird that you have to put your weight and that is shown. Also not very user friendly. Can’t figure out how to edit my profile. Most people’s images are cut off so your can’t even see their faces. Height is shown in cm.

It’s not bad so far, just wish people were closer

I love BBWDatingVideoChat lets me talk to any woman I want at anytime no matter where they are located to. They could be 500 miles away from me and I can still talk to them. Highly recommend
