The different stories and varying options are amazing, even despite the short story chapters. You get five free story tickets per day, the bachelors have 25+ chapters with 5 parts per chapter that cost one ticket each. You can buy more tickets with diamonds, which are outrageously expensive. It would take at least 25 days to finish one bachelor’s storyline with the free tickets—except there are even more paywalls hidden behind “battles” and “avatar challenges” where you must buy cosmetic items or wait hours to have enough stamina to battle to accrue more points, etc. It’s a very exhausting system and too much to keep track of.

The general story is overall very cute and intriguing, but I wish I could just pay a flat price for access to the whole game and all of the stories. If you compare this to dating sims on PC or console, $40 for the whole game is about the most I’d pay for such a thing. The devs of this game are undoubtedly raking in much more than that thanks to whales, but for those of us who aren’t made of money, it’s a big obstacle with no way to get around it. All I want is to read the story. :(

I've had IkemenVampireOtomeGame downloaded on my phone for almost a month now and in that time i've tried countless times to play IkemenVampireOtomeGame but I can't. The screen that first pops up when you start IkemenVampireOtomeGame comes on fine but after that the screen goes completely black and won't load or anything just gets stuck on a black screen. I've deleted and reinstalled IkemenVampireOtomeGame countless times but it's not working for me. Amazingly just today I managed to get past the black screen to the part where you have to agree to their conditions by either clicking okay or cancel I hit okay but the okay button grayed out and the screen got stuck again and wouldn't do anything.

I just deleted IkemenVampireOtomeGame and reinstalled it again for the millionth time but if it doesn't work after this i'm deleting it for good.... i'm VERY upset that I can't play IkemenVampireOtomeGame because 1.) i've heard such good things about it (so good in fact that i've been dying to play it all this time) and 2.) I play two other otome apps that were made by this same company: Ikémen Revolution and Ikémen Sengoku and I LOVE both of them so it was a no brainer that this otome would be just as good.

Bottom line is don't get your hopes up too much when downloading IkemenVampireOtomeGame because what's happening to me might happen to you too 😞

The main stories have been very good so far but my main issues come with the quality of the events and side stories. It is very much a gamble on whether or not the content of the stories will be good, especially paid things like the epilogues or popular character stories in the kiss events. I have spent plenty of dollars on this game and have been disappointed at the storytelling and “action” that they often promise the content will have. They also sometimes don’t even have avatar gifts for completing some story events like they didn’t have designs prepared or anything. There is also a completely useless money system of gold along with the diamond that you can’t use to buy anything but the normal bonus stories for the main storyline. I have an absurd amount of gold and absolutely nothing to spend it on.
Also there is some noticeable variation in the quality of art of the characters. For example Arthur’s hands are atrociously large. Like a seriously absurd size. And it is noticeable the variation in the details they put into the characters design. Like some characters have shading and lines in their hands that others completely lack. It’s just a sloppy look that’s disappointing especially for us that choose to pay money. Don’t even get me started on the scene of the night sky with the stars over the black part of the moon. That’s such a basic thing they could have avoided with one single search... it bothers me to no end lol

I love the story! It’s amazing the way each character is the thought through and how their desires are all different but the story follows a close story line but not close enough to be bored with choosing someone else. I just wish the tickets had a different way to be earned or bought. The prices are too expensive and you only get 5 a day which isn’t close to enough. You should try an hourly thing. Another game I play makes you wait 3 hours for one ticket but at least with that one ticket the story/part is long. Yours are short and we don’t even get that many tickets. It really is wonderful but your rewards aren’t that well either. Your gacha you have to buy which you don’t have for your other one. I still love all your games I just wish you would make it more affordable or make it so the tickets are faster to get. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this though!

I found this game from playing their Ikémen Sengoku series and it’s been a frustrating transition. The battle system is unnecessary and confusing, and each battle gives you pennys in gold in comparison to what you need to buy clothing items for avatar challenges to progress the story. I’ve been playing for about 20 days now and have 2,000 gold, but need 8,000 to progress the story. Each battle only gives you 10-50 gold per battle, so at best I’ll have to wait about a week to read the story again if I’m consistently coming back to IkemenVampireOtomeGame and getting perfect battle scores. I know this is their way of fishing for you to spend money on diamonds but it’s a little much.

I will say though, the art and animation is way better than the effort they put towards the Sengoku series. I enjoy the story and the characters so far, but like I said I have to spend the next week grinding IkemenVampireOtomeGame for gold in order to continue.

While I enjoy this guilty pleasure and it can be fun. It’s annoying when the Avatar Challenge comes up. One of the reasons is you HAVE to buy a digital outfit to even continue with the story. I do the battles every day to keep up the intimacy levels but sometimes I don’t have enough gold to continue, so you’re forced to have to wait or buy diamonds to continue. A clear scam. Furthermore, if you do the ‘normal’ attire, you can’t keep the story? That’s just rude! It’s like saying- if you’re not going to spend REAL money on our game, you can’t keep it! I get it’s fun but seriously, it’s a cheap and easy romance where a girl is surrounded by all these handsome men. I guess I’ll just stick with the battles because it’s nearly impossible to achieve diamonds unless you buy them and what about Gatcha? Good luck getting tokens for that. Again, another scam. Girls, don’t drain your bank account for something you can’t physically use. It’s a game that is designed to drain your wallet.

So this game is truly amazing and the romance is incredibly written but one of the characters, who should be the Joan of Arc is changed into a male, now named Jean. This is so highly problematic I can’t even explain so shortly. Joan of Arc was a real woman and her entire life story and significance had a major impact on women everywhere, it is essential that she always is interpreted as a woman. Her struggles were one only women could face and her successes belong to women, not to be washed up as a man. If there’s anything her life story has taught us- is to GIVE CREDIT TO WOMEN. The change of her gender is not only offensive- it is highly sexist and tone-deaf. She did not die her death only to be later dishonored and even stripped of her gender. I get it that this game is trying to appeal to straight female audiences but why not just use another male historical figure instead of changing a famous female historical figure? This is very wrong. If you really want Joan of Arc, keep her gender and write it as a wlw storyline. A real romance writer will know how to work with that, and if you can’t write wlw or anything lgbtq related- then just don’t write romance at all. Again, the game is written beautifully but PLEASE diversify it. Allow the MC to be available in all races, and allow routes for different genders.

I’m going to start off with the good aspects of the game: it’s a unique story line, each character has a different personality and the art and animation are very good. I’m even okay with 5 tickets that get me through 1 Chapter per day. With that being said, the avatar and intimacy challenges are hell!! I couldn’t care less what the avatar I never see looks like. Why should I spend 22K gold or 450 diamonds just to buy the REQUIRED “normal” outfit that won’t even unlock special features? It’s ridiculous! I’m currently stuck, unable to move to another chapter until I change my avatar and I have nowhere near enough gold or diamonds to do that, even if I battled for gold throughout the week, so my 5 free tickets will go to waste for all those days. I spend thousands on another otome game company where my money actually goes into the story and not some avatar, so I am not inclined to purchase an outfit for this one. I had high hopes for the game but am quite disappointed with this gold/diamond/avatar system. I will be uninstalling after finishing the first route.

I truly love this game if I could give it a higher rating I would but I have several issues with the game and they are the diamonds in order to complete the story or different muse you need to get more diamonds to do that and that requires money, now not everyone is made of money and can’t constantly buy 50 dollars iTunes cards to be Abel to get more diamonds, I wish you would make it easier to get larger number of diamonds when you play the game, I don’t like the tap joy free diamonds or how you have to get them that is very uncomfortable to just send your info out there, the free diamond if you watch videos need to be like 50 diamonds or higher than just the 1 diamonds you get when you do that option, I would also like to see the different set you do for event to less expensive and easier to get along with doing the events for longer times so people like myself will have more opportunities to play the events and get the sets with each event, I think you really need to make it more affordable and easier for your fans to get the items and merchandise for the game especially in the USA.

I’ve been playing the game for a while now and I’d give it five stars, but the diamonds are a real problem, they cost a lot of money and make you put your personal information, first of all I’m not made of money, second of all I wouldn’t be putting my personal information on any website unless it’s required, I can’t even get the premium story because I never have enough diamonds for it, and if you ask me “why don’t you save up” well it’s not like I haven’t tried that, at this point diamonds are so hard to get I always end up giving up, but you can fix this, at least put ads that make you get 400 diamonds or something, I also wanted to talk about another thing, the chapter stories are too short, but hey thats okay, if only I had more diamonds too buy more tickets, it’d be fine, but no I can’t even buy anything with diamonds. I don’t want to seem as rude, even if I probably did right now, I won’t play the game unless this diamond problem is fixed, it’s making me go insane, this is the first review I’ve written and I really hate writing reviews, so please hear me out on this one.

So far the game has been very entertaining and heartwarming, but a few things bother me. It’s quite crowded. You have to go to two or three places in order to get a mission done, which is easy to understand after persisting through it but very confusing when you don’t understand why you didn’t get the reward for completing something. The chapter tickets are very patchy, maybe you can do to them like you do with the stamina? Get a few tickets every few hours, just to keep players interesting. And everything is too expensive!!! You have to spend 300 diamonds on ONE gatcha! I understand that as a free game you need to make money somehow, but it’s clear to see that the game panders to those who are willing to pay a lot for diamonds and tickets. I’m fine with getting caught up for the fun of it, but if having diamonds and gatcha coins are required for beauty points and intimacy points; and all your in-game items cost 5000 diamonds when all you give us is 50 at a time? At some point we’re gonna hit a stand off where I cannot play until I get enough diamonds for the item required.

Please just adjust the messed up in-game currency system if anything else, that would make the game(s) 10x better!

I love the story and the graphics and sound effects are really well done! I wish there were a way to just pay a flat rate for the stories, because it seems unnecessary to have a social/battle aspect to this game. All in all, I would recommend this with a little patience because it does seems to be a great story so far.

Unfortunately, chapters are very short and it’s costly to try and progress if you consider paying to move forward. I’ve paid for other games before, but I’d say this is more costly than others compared to the length of the content that you get.
For the free options, you can watch ads to get diamonds, but you only get 1 diamond per ad and there’s a limit on the ads. It’s disproportionately difficult to use this method to get free diamonds when I don’t believe there are any paid options below 100 diamonds. They also unfortunately use TapJoy which is glitchy at best and scammy at worst. I’ve never seen TapJoy work correctly in other games that I’ve seen that have it integrated. TapJoy is one of those companies that gives you diamonds in exchange for completing an action or purchasing something. It’s great IN THEORY, but I have never heard of it it working properly and it’s unfortunate that it’s linked with this game.

I like love the game! With the graphics and everything, it makes the whole storyline come together. I just have a problem with wanting the premium story. I understand that you need the money for the development of other games, and that’s understandable. But for some people they can’t buy the diamonds or use any of the offers to get free diamonds. It would be very helpful if you were able to get affordable offers for diamonds, such as playing a game until you reach the main building to level 10 or something around those lines. I’ve said the things about other games, like Destiny Ninja 2+ and other Shall We Date? games, thought they have fallen into the same predicament, not having affordable offers. This is just a problem with me, but I would really like to be able to play the premium routes and not have to pay for the diamonds. I do love this game and would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the diamond problem. I hope to take my suggestions into consideration.

Hello! The game is a very wonderful and fun game and I like the aspects that differ it from other otomes. I love the battle feature incredibly. And, personally, I like the fact that we are only granted one chapter a day. It makes sure that I don’t stay on IkemenVampireOtomeGame for hours upon hours. Now, I’m going to focus on a rather big, yet small aspect of the game. That would be the avatar customization. Perhaps I missed a way to change this but, I feel as if there should be a way to change your avatar’s ethnicity. Otherwise, the game lacks relatability for many. Granted, the player is described as Japanese, but I don’t think that’s a good excuse for lack of skin color choices. I would ask for a more gender-neutral aspect of the game, but I don’t believe that, at this point, is possible, since the game is almost halfway done. These encounters do not effect me, but I can see frustrating situations occurring for others. Those are my biggest problems with the game so far. Otherwise, I will keep playing and eagerly awaiting the stories and updates.

I’ve been playing IkeVamp, IkeRev, and IkeSen for 5 months now and I love all three Cybrid games, but this is my least favorite (not counting Midnight Cinderella). I really love the art style and story events, but the main routes get boring after a while. I’m on my 7th route right now, and the plot line pretty much follows the exact same sequence of events for every love interest unlike the other games so everything is really predictable.

As for the in-game currency and stuff that a lot of reviewers are complaining about, I actually don’t have any problem with it. Even though this is my 7th play through, I haven’t spent a single cent on the game. When you first start out, make 50 friends then greet them everyday to earn gold; it’s kind of a hassle, but you can probably stop after a month if you’re consistent with love lessons. Do love lessons every few hours, log in daily for the login bonuses, and max out the dramatic and romantic points to get 300 diamonds for finishing a route.

I love the game, don’t get it wrong. But when you have to do the Avatar Challenge, the player barely has enough gold to even get the regular item(s), never mind the premium item(s). You could also purchase the item(s) with diamond, but the item(s) ask for so much diamonds! I understand you need to make money somehow but this is ridiculous. Once the player purchase the item(s) the player barely have anything left, then 4 or 5 chapters later you have to do it again but the player won’t have any good or diamonds left.

Me encanta el juego, no te equivoques. Pero cuando tienes que hacer el Deaafío Avatar, el jugador apenas tiene suficiente oro para obtener incluso los artículos premium. Tambíen puede comprar los artículos con diamantes, ipero los artículos piden tantos diamantes! Entiendo que de alguna manera necesitas ganar dinero, pero esto es ridículo. Una vez que el jugador compra el (los) artículo(s), al jugador apenas le queda nada, entonces 4 o 5 capítulos más tarde debe volver a hacerlo, pero al jugador no le quedará ningún bien o diamantes.

I’ve played quite a few Cybird games now, and I enjoy Vampire just as much as the others.
The writing has always been a strong point for Cybird’s otome games and it keeps me coming back for more every time. Each of the boys hit an archetype but also manage to be fresh and original through their own twists.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy Vampire as much as I did Revolution, Sengoku and MidCin. The idea of the vamps being real historical figures that a western audience knew was a little unsettling (I had the same problem for Sengoku but to a lesser extent because... those boys weren’t dead in universe) but the story is still very immersive.
I miss the Sengoku early route split and I wish they would bring that back so there’s more differences between the romantic and dramatic routes. That being said, the events have been great, and I’m looking forward to the release of the rest of the routes, Dazai in particular.

I started playing the game yesterday immediately after it was downloaded. I was very exited, I liked the characters’ designs and voice acting. But after finishing the prologue chapters I couldn’t do anything, the game would show the loading screen then a pop-up appears saying I have connection issues and I need to restart the game…

I did what the message had said and restarted the game but nothing happened, the loading screen would keep going and the message pops up again. I restarted the game multiple times- I even uninstalled it and installed it back again but nothing changed.
I’m not sure if it’s something on my end or if it’s a bug/glitch but it makes me really sad that I can’t experience this game until this problem is resolved…

First off, how in the WORLD did y’all come up with this idea??? I saw an ad and didn’t pay attention to it at first but after like the 5th time seeing it, i downloaded, cuz you know, vampires.

BUT I HAD NO IDEA THE VAMPIRE ARE DEAD PEOPLE. When MC was surprise you KNOW I was surprised too omg.

Aside from that, here is actual review.
If I could I would give this a 4.5.

The game is easy to navigate, you can easily get to a point where you want to go without any trouble. Everything is well made and the voice actors did an amazing job. Mc In Leonardo’s route does not seem to be weak like every other Mc in a game. Aside from that, the art style is amazing. And money wise? Its fantastic how we can get diamonds without paying because I’m broke so....

Furthermore, this game doesn’t seem like it’s complete because the other routes that aren’t done yet -that’s one reason why I say 4.5. The Other reason is, the events need to be more... eventful. I’m not going to be toooooo effify with It now because you guys have to finish the other guys first (there’s like 7 more). Other than that it’s a cool game. High recommend you to download it!!!!!! I cant say much for plot because I’m like ep 8 Leonardo so...

Also!!!! I love the card feature it gives the game more zing.

So... I have a pretty pleasant history with this game overall. Well, not just pleasant, I have an AMAZING experience with this game. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars, probably 9 or such. I understand that you guys need the time and such, but can you guys extend the overall plot of the characters? I mean, I love how each character has a story, but overall the events need to be a tad bit more eventful. Just a suggestion, otherwise this game is great! I know all these people complaining about the ticket system but the truth is, one chapter per day is really sufficient! I always like that system as it feels like you’re treating yourself to treat every day, instead of dissolving it all really quickly. Besides, the chapter are pretty long overall. 😊 😊😊
