Glowbe – Face Yoga & Massage Reviews

So I figured if they give you three days and after that you have to pay $16!!!! Per week you would get a whole week for your first $16
But no! You get 4 more days after the three free days that everyone gets! SUCH a scam! Then the next billing you do get 7 days!!!
I tried their customer service and after THREE days I got a response in Russian!!!!

I feel so so ripped off; Glowbe is ok but their charging system is terrible!

Yes paying the year subscription made more sense (and was what I was planning to do) but I didn’t expect that the first week I paid for yo last only FOUR DAYS! And then the second week I couldn’t get the option to pay for the whole year

So basically they’ll do whatever to rip you off for a few days before you can actually decide to pay the yearly subscription

Pretty valuable content, but not worth the money. The subscription options are totally a scam. The week to week is overpriced at $10 a week. Thats 40 a month… wow must be very valuable, right?

Hmm… but a WHOLE YEAR is only 60? What a STEAL? Right? NO.

THIS COMPANY PREYS ON YOUR FORGETFULNESS TO ROPE YOU INTO PAYING A LUDICROUS AMOUNT UPFRONT BECAUSE THE PRODUCT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO KEEP PEOPLE SUBSCRIBED FOR A FULL MONTH TO GET THEIR $40.

You think you’re getting a good deal on an expensive product… but you’re being tricked into paying more upfront for something that’s not that valuable. Maybe it is valuable content… but I didn’t have the chance to try it for very long to decide for myself.

I get it, I’m a sucker. You’re welcome, this app. It’s my fault I didn’t cancel in time… but if your product was actually valuable enough you wouldn’t have to trick people with a manipulative trial offer.

I have loved all of the classes I have taken inside the this app app, I would 100% recommended this to everyone!

However, I have had some technical issues and was charged $60 then lost access to my personal course. I have emailed “customer support” numerous times with no reply. It seems like they respond to reviews so I’m hoping this will get their attention and I can get it figured out.

Like another review mentioned, the pricing is very confusing. It was advertised as $60 every two months which is incredibly exorbitant but now Glowbe wants to charge me $60 a year which I can handle. But I do not want to pay another $60 when I already paid that and lost access one day later. I feel like they stole $60 from me.

Glowbe is a scam. I took the quiz through the ad I saw in IG and signed up. I downloaded Glowbe and read reviews while it downloaded that it was impossible to cancel subscription…I went into my subscriptions to cancel it and it doesn’t show up there and when I open Glowbe and click cancel subscription it is greyed out and I haven’t gotten any confirmation email that it has been cancelled and if it doesn’t cancel I will get charged $60 in 2 days. This is a scam do not download it or sign up for it, it needs to be removed from Glowbe Store..I have already filed a complaint with apple.

If I could rate the effectiveness of the exercises, this app would get five stars from me. I’ve been a subscriber for over a year and a half and it’s absolutely become part of my daily routine. It keeps my face feeling young and fresh and the effects are very much noticeable.

That being said, this has to be one of if not the most poorly designed app I’ve ever used. It’s EXTREMELY buggy and glitchy. It will reset your progress randomly after hundred day streaks and randomly log you out (oftentimes making it impossible to log back in) making you wait for days on end to even be able to use the product you’re paying for - which is even more frustrating considering you have to complete the current day you’re on to unlock the next day and eventually the next week. I’ve contacted support too many times and they are negligent at best as these problems continue to occur. They really do nothing for you.

Again, great program - but Glowbe is absolutely not worth the money. You’re probably better off subscribing for a short amount of time and copying down the exercises for yourself.

I downloaded Glowbe because it appealed to me on a ad. I went through all the sign-up motions only to find out when you get to the end that you have to pay $9.99 a month to use. I’m all for paying for apps and subscriptions of services that I like. However, not being able to 1/ try free features, 2/ do a free trial or 3/ even see how Glowbe works, really turned me off from buying the service upfront. I hope the developers will consider a better customer acquisition model.

I think it’s sad Glowbe felt the need to buy reviews and post misleading Instagram ads. This is a GREAT APP for lymphatic drainage massage. The annual price costs as much as one in-person facial massage. With COVID, I have no intention of doing any in-person massage, so this app has been a life saver! If you have the correct expectations, Glowbe is great. It isn’t going to eliminate your double chin, but it is going to improve your lymph flow, which has a range of health benefits! The interface is also very user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. The three main issues I have Glowbe are 1. The model often does not follow the voiceover directions, 2. They ask for reviews in Glowbe every time you use it (too much for a paid app!), 3. You have to be connected to the internet to use it.

I have only used it for two nights not long enough to see results. However, I find that it relaxes me after a long day. It gives me a chance to touch my face 🤣after a year almost two of being mindful of keeping my hands off my face (tried to anyway)!

I was just curious so I got trial. I figured “what could it hurt?”. Then after the first couple of exercises, I started to feel a difference!…my face “tingling”, like the blood flow had increased! When I was finished, I wanted to do it again! Today I learned that I have really taken my face for granted!

I can feel the increased circulation in my face, chin and neck areas. I’m excited to see what happens after continued use. Great app, just wish I could go back when I missed a technique - it’s a bit difficult to follow and apply these techniques looking in a mirror and watching and listening to the guides instructions.

Just completed my first session and my frown lines at the sides of my mouth are gone. My under eye bags are so much less noticeable. My lines at the center of my eyebrows are not there. I can’t believe it’s that easy to get rid of these lines. Wish I hand found Glowbe ages ago. Excited for session 2 and to make even more progress. I didn’t expect to see drastic results after 1 session but I’m happy I did. I’m looking forward to seeing even better results in the future. I really like that they have someone showing you with a video and speaking. It’s very helpful to me and I think it’s great for both the deaf and blind, so they can both be included in being able to use Glowbe .

My mother used to have a tape called “faceersize”when I was younger. I remember her doing the exercises in our car. I’ve been looking for something like that for years and I’m happy to finally find Glowbe. Glowbe really helps tone and de-puff my face. The look of my face in photos is way more structured and my neck forehead and eyes look younger.

I love these exercises. It’s only day two so I don’t know if it’s working to reduce the appearance of the double chin, but I’m just happy there’s finally something out there that does! Even if it doesn’t, these exercises are still great for relaxation, the skin, and lymphatic drainage.

I have never done anything myself and have never paid someone to do a facial, so I was unsure what to expect. My face feels extremely relaxed and almost tighter already! Plus, I feel relaxed and my eyes feel more wide awake!

Taking 15 minutes a day is something I owe myself and am happy to be starting this journey. 💙

I’m turning 45 this year and even though people guess me 10 years younger, I have been starting to notice the signs of aging on my face. I’ve been considering facial yoga for some time now as a natural anti aging solution. This massage was excellent, really made my face feel great, and I can feel my sinuses draining. Can’t wait to see the changes in my face over time!

I bought a year of Glowbe in January. It worked great until recently and now it does nothing. I even tried to remove it and add it back in but it now says it can not restore my purchase.

Update: after my review the developers responded quickly and fixed it. It is now working again and I find it very useful.

First routine in the books and I think that, even if the results don’t prove miraculous (although I can already see plumping after the first session), it’s worth it just for the calming self care. The videos are easy to follow, and the routine is a great addition to morning or evening skincare routine. As a constantly busy and overworked entrepreneur, I needed this in my life. Would definitely recommend!

I experienced bells parsley years ago. That experience has changed my face and how my nerves react to any movements. It was rather emotional completing the first exercise truthfully; it's the first time I've touched my face in this way besides washing my face. I'm very grateful to have something easy, convenient, and straightforward right on my phone. The price can be a little expensive if you're someone like me who's paying for everything but it's worth it if you are looking to improve your appearance and confidence.

The exercises on Glowbe are easy to follow along with and perform and yet so effective. The timing is great…we transition from one exercise to the next at just the right time (not overly repetitive or time consuming) and with enough variety to keep me engaged.

My face and scalp feel both invigorated and relaxed all at the same time. I look more refreshed. I love the relaxing background music. The instructions are precise and informative. The model doing the demonstrations is great. The variety of exercise options is fantastic (hair growth, plumper limps, depuffing, etc).

Overall, a beautifully designed and executed app and curriculum. I only wish I’d discovered it sooner!

Simple and easy to follow. I apply my favorite lotion or oil when doing this. It’s a great way to set a little time everyday to do something special for yourself out of the act of self love. However not sure if it’s effects yet. I am currently on the trial app. Will see if I keep it! The cost is 69 ish for the year which is roughly about 6 dollars a month.

Initially asked to give access privacy setting , and once you allow, it will ask you to pay an amount for the subscription. If i could give no star , i would have done that.

Glowbe is good but it’s $9.99 a week. Many of similar value are $25-$50 per year. Is far different than a facial and the videos don’t compare to getting a facial

I was excited to try and sculpt my face and stuff. But it’s like any other exercise app I’ve mainly used—it costs money. Of course I don’t have a problem with Glowbe costing money, but I don’t want to do three days of free exercises and forget that I’ll have to pay after that, and to cancel it—so then I start paying.

I did like that it’s personal though.
