Told me it could not fine local data i live in iowa

I like watching local news on my smart TV every day. But at least once a month no video will play and I have to reinstall VeryLocal . Also once in a while it looks like the video zooms way in and I can only see a corner or the video. Frustrating

I’ve followed all the instructions in the help section and I cannot get VeryLocal to cast to my Samsung TV. This is the only app that won’t cooperate. It’s very frustrating, especially since I wanted to watch a local holiday parade via Very Local with my family, not just on my phone.

Tried it out. Every news video clip started with an obtrusive ad. Non starter for me. Deleted VeryLocal .

Just another news app. Advertising for VeryLocal on TV implied it would show local restaurants and great places. But it is just another news app. Why do i need another news app?

Downloaded to watch a local parade that I could not attend and VeryLocal on my phone and my tv crashed many times.

Some commercials on broadcast local stations like KCRA 3 in Sacramento, CA are way, way louder than other commercials.

Although I enjoy using VeryLocal , I want to watch the newscast, not the weekend sports program. App (and website) consider the sports program to be a newscast. I also want to watch the latest Chronicle on demand, not individual bits of programs. Also, when I am watching a newscast on-demand, when a newer one becomes available it terminates the one I am watching and starts the new one from the beginning. I want to be able to finish the stream I am watching! This happens at, for example, 11:50PM when the 10PM newscast is replaced with the 11PM newscast, and on early Monday morning the sports program replaces the newscast. Used to be a workaround of going to the website but that no longer works

Who knew, there are so many great local shows on VeryLocal. And it’s free. You don’t have to pay to subscribe or be able to watch all of the shows.

The content on VeryLocal is really impressive and entertaining!
