I have downloaded almost every mainstream dating app, and have come to appreciate all their differences, varied aesthetics, and quirks. Thank goodness I received a targeted ad for LOLODatingIcebreakerGames on Instagram, because I really love it! I admired the premise, but didn’t expect the execution to be so great. The UI is gorgeous and fun, and the games are quite a good mix (they feel like Jackbox); best of all, they really do help break the ice and connect with a person. I wouldn’t be surprised to see other apps try to copycat the game mechanic like they did when Tinder normalized swiping. Of course the user base for such a new app is young and growing, so you won’t see as many faces as other established apps, but I hope and suspect that will change. In the meantime, there are still plenty of people, and I can’t wait to keep talking/playing games with my match. <3

As a woman, I get so many of the same messages from guys on dating apps. I can look at their profiles and try to judge from their messages but at the end of the day, it’s hard to get a feel for what they are like. XO is totally different and I love the interaction it enables. I feel more comfortable using it to meet people and can actually get a feel for what the person I’m talking to is like. Especially during quarantine when meeting up is hard, playing games is the perfect way to build up a new connection. Plus the games are a ton of fun. I highly recommend XO for anyone who’s sick of the same old dating app experience!

What a breath of fresh air! I’ve tried so many dating apps and they’re basically all the same boring app with the same features and largely the same people. I love that XO is totally different! The games aspect is really fun and LOLODatingIcebreakerGames itself is just beautiful. As a woman, I like that the games take the pressure off of never ending chat messages until things “move forward.” This way, you can just be casual and have something else to talk about- the game. Love it!! Thanks XO! Deleting my profile off other apps now.

I hate dating apps due to the awkward starts to conversations. XO came up as an ad on my social media, the moment it mentioned games as an introduction to meeting people I instantly downloaded it! It’s a fun new way to start a conversation with someone if your as awkward as me. I only wish they could add more games! Occasionally someone I've matched with, will pop up again and I’ll have to match with them once more. This makes me feel like I’m being too needy when it’s not me but LOLODatingIcebreakerGames . Other than that, I’m very excited to have LOLODatingIcebreakerGames!

Off the bat a great social app to get to know ppl. There are your standard functions that are deemed the norm thanks to old apps such as tinder and MeetMe. But XO just isn’t for dates or hookups. They are for making friends too!

My absolute FAVORITE app for so many reasons!! Super inclusive about race, gender, sexuality, etc... have SO many preferences to chose from about who you want and don’t want to see. Everyone on LOLODatingIcebreakerGames has been really honest and totally kind. And the games are SO so fun, I could
play them all day. As someone in a relationship it’s def just a fun way to meet new friends when moving to a new city or even just fun to play games w friends when you’re bored. To add, the aesthetics and graphics are amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

This is so great to get things rolling in conversations, truly a stroke of brilliance. The design and illustration are beautiful, I would keep it installed just for that if nothing more. However, I find how you connect and play with people randomly to not be terribly fruitful.

This may be due to the lack of people on LOLODatingIcebreakerGames . I wish you could invite people you’ve liked to play games, rather than just complete randoms who you probably won’t connect with. 😕

In some ways I’m reserving complete judgement, but right now I don’t know if it will last on my phone to the end of the day.

This legit should be the number 1 app for dating. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dating. But I found it less anxious when I am able to play a game instead with that person because it shows who I am but doesn’t feel like I need to lead any convo, and vice versa. In my opinion, LEAGUES better than bumble, hinge, or hilly. The only issue: not many people know about LOLODatingIcebreakerGames so there’s not that many people at first so you need to broaden your search bar

most dating apps are the same nonsense. this one is something special. I actually invited a friend to join within a half hour of trying it out because it felt like a fun space for my friend and I to both enjoy the games within LOLODatingIcebreakerGames and to actually chat with people. I talked with two people in the first hour of using it and they seemed nice. I love that one of the games actually lets you go on blind dates and create art together!

I love this dating app concept. I’ve had a ton of fun meeting new people with the games. The only issue is that when I’m in the “XO” menu, I see a lot of people that I can “like” that are near me but I’m constantly being matched in games with people that are hundreds of miles away. I’m not really sure how to match up with the people near me that I liked, so it’s kind of frustrating. I’m sure LOLODatingIcebreakerGames will improve with time and a bigger user base which is exciting :)

To be honest, I’m fully impressed, the only reason I’m giving this 4/5 stars is because there isn’t a lot of people using LOLODatingIcebreakerGames yet. So matches are kinda thin at the moment. Otherwise this is such a genius way to online date. It gives you something to actually connect with rather then having to start an awkward conversation based off of looks like other dating apps.

I love the concept of this dating app and I think it has so much potential. However, there are some bugs I’ve noticed in the 20 minutes I’ve been on it. The big one being that it sends your questions to the wrong people and shows you questions sent from the wrong people so the conversations can get awkward. Also, some of the games say network errors everytime you try to submit them. Once these bugs are fixed it will be my favorite dating app!

I wish I had time to write more on this but LOLODatingIcebreakerGames ROCKS. Here is why:
I. Personalization
A. Your account has organized stats like other apps such as gender, interests, job, etc, but it doesn’t stop there. You can literally fill in your answer rather then choose from typical answers so if you have a more complex response that defines you, there is ZERO limitation.
II. Games!
A. This keeps conversations from becoming boring and
B. This can help foster genuine relationships with people without having to give them your phone number to use game pigeon (non iPhone users, just run with me) and the selection is so much better.

Critique:
Not enough people are on this. Fix this. Join. Tell your friends!!!!

This dating app is super cute, I’ve enjoyed it far more than any other app I’ve tried. The games give you something to talk about especially when the drawings come out kind of crazy. I wish the dating base was bigger but I’m content so far. The only warning I have is that the games will reset if your phone goes to sleep or if you close it to go to another app.

Hi I love LOLODatingIcebreakerGames, but could you help fix bug where I can’t play any games when the Larger Text accessibility option is on for iPhone?

The Begin button for games gets covered up and I can’t tap it to start any games, unless I disable the Larger text accessibility option in settings -> accessibility -> text size -> larger text.

I love the idea of LOLODatingIcebreakerGames! The ice breakers really help get over initial awkwardness. Dating apps can be so boring these day but this brings justice to the dating scene! :) please continue to add more and update it. It's kind of confusing. Maybe more tutorial would be useful! Also more preference options would be great like age range. Overall 4/5 because it's a little confusing to navigate but it's fun so far!

Excellent new approach to dating.
I love the options they have and the ice breakers to meet new people. Awesome way to get to know each other and start conversations.
Only suggestions would be to match with people near to you, but guess that is because LOLODatingIcebreakerGames is starting and there might not be enough people around me using it.

Not entirely sure it’s an app that will ever work for the purpose it’s intended but it’s definitely unique. None of the games make sense and not a single person I’ve met on here wants to use them..instead they comment how confusing they are and ask if we can just chat. App definitely needs work but does deliver on it being a new and interesting way to meet people.

I enjoy LOLODatingIcebreakerGames a lot but it still needs some work. Notifications don’t work when you receive new messages and the one-on-one messenger feature is glitchy. There’s a lag and sometimes things appear out of order.

I really do enjoy the ice breaker games though. This is a cool spend on dating/social apps to make platonic or other relationships forsure (:

LOLODatingIcebreakerGames allows you to match with random people you have interests in and encourages you both to play a game. these games include a lot of wacky ideas that just makes it less awkward than you tryna tell your whole boring life story to someone to see if they’d fall in love lol. download LOLODatingIcebreakerGames and start having fun instead of seeing your crush run.

Even though there aren’t a lot of people on LOLODatingIcebreakerGames yet because it’s still new, you can still have a lot of fun playing games with random people. I can’t wait until they add more games, and I really like how they are all inclusive of genders and sexual preferences!

This was a cool app I found. I think it’s still being worked out but I like it so far. I wish it could allow more customizable features for the profile but I’m enjoying it so far

Dating still feels like work a bit rn, but at least I can draw stupid pictures about it.

The apps seems like cool but there seems to a bug that is showing female profiles despite females not being selected in the settings.

Finally none of those awkward pickup lines and small talk. What an innovative, interesting way to get to know someone!

What a great idea - fun and playful - instead of impersonal and shallow like the other dating apps. Clean and simple design too!!

The features don’t always work, you match with people outside your preference range. Not really an app to date, more of a social platform. People can participate basically anonymously

I like that you have a way to connect immediately. Super cool!
