Like having a support network in your pocket

I first heard about Quilt from a friend of mine who introduced it by saying: “It’s like a TedTalk plus therapy” and she was right - but what I wasn’t expecting was the community I would be welcomed into when I downloaded Quilt. The conversations are informative, relatable, and supportive - some days I just want to listen and some days I want to speak - both days are enriching and rewarding. The community is comprised of people of all different gender identities, backgrounds, and cultures - but when you are on Liminal it’s a total equalizer and you feel like you’re all the same. I’ve had so much fun and been so inspired on a daily basis - and I can’t imagine how I would have gotten through 2020 without this secret weapon. My advice to you if one of your New Years resolutions is to prioritize self-care: start by downloading Liminal.

My lifeline for genuine community, connection + growth

I didn’t realize how much I needed Quilt in my life until it showed up. As someone who lives their life as a seeker - open to new connections, ideas and perspectives, Quilt has been a transformative home base for all things that leave me feeling expanded and inspired.
I am in awe at the way this community genuinely & respectfully supports one another and I’ve been able to trim my usage in other spaces because I get so much fulfillment all in one convenient place — Quilt.
Every room is unique, but I’m consistently impressed by the vulnerability, inclusivity and beaming warmth in each conversation.
Quilt is where I first shared I was pregnant, where I’ve opened up around my biggest fears and desires, and it’s also where I’ve spent countless hours giggling 🤣.
Download Liminal if you’re looking for a friend who always picks up.

Quilt has changed my life

I found out about Quilt at a women in tech networking event. I immediately loved the concept because I was having intimate conversation with strangers about their problems as well as my own. I had learned more in one conversation than I had in months of self contemplation. Making friends has always been hard for me. I had no girl friends in LA for two years and within 2 months I’ve made a group or girls I can call to hang out with, cry to, girls who have housed me when I left my apartment after a breakup, and girls I’ve shared meals with. I have met wonderful people and have deeply connected with women. I didn’t realize how much my mind and soul needed human connection until I got it. I highly recommend Liminal. Don’t go in with any expectations. Just be yourself. Before you know if you’ll have friends that last a lifetime. It’s crazy.

Even better than the hype!

Quilt has been, and continues to be, so many things for so many people. For some it is the only way to connect with others in a safe way during a global pandemic. For others it is the first time they have felt truly seen and heard when sharing their truth. When you open a Quilt, you open your heart and hold space for others. The conversations are as fun, rich and dynamic as the beautiful humans that make up the Quilt community. You will laugh, you might cry, you will listen and share (if you like), you will learn and you will grow. There is no stage. No performing or posturing. You show up as your true self and you are welcomed simply for being. What you do or who you are is respected, but not revered above and beyond your humanity. You as you are enough. 🤍

A great PLACE

Quilt App is more of a place than a category of app. You can go there and people from all over are open to chat or dive deep or answer questions. Everything from business networking to learn and actually be a real person to talking about the most personal rituals and experiences in your life. It’s not about going to lectures or eavesdropping on important people or topics it’s connection & conversation. Sometimes it’s a classical art salon, sometimes it’s a crazy sleepover, sometimes it’s group therapy or meditation but it’s about going to the place and being together. Freaking love it, I know spend easily as much time on Quilt as I do on Instagram. I said it.

Quilt has upgraded my life

Quilt came at the perfect time for me. I was leveling up my life, which included my social circle which meant dropping a lot of old behaviors and replacing them with people and situations that actually served me. Finding Quilt allowed me to connect with like-minded women, a lot of whom have become my closest friends. I love being able to get together with people to connect on deep topics instead of wasting an entire night going to a bar, which seemed like my only option sometimes before. I also love having a platform to share my own areas of expertise in the learn shops. Highly recommend Quilt and proud to be a member.

Lovely app

At first I was nervous to join conversations and interact but the community on Liminal is so great and now I look forward to hopping in and sharing! I highly recommend especially if you’re looking for a small connected community that feels more personal and real than the massive Instagram world etc.

Only issue is that since I got the notification about pronouns I have gone in and added mine but the red bubble on Liminal icon will not go away and not sure how to get rid of it.

Features I’d love to see: some type of reaction feature that could pop up on your icon (like 👏🏼 or 🙌🏼) to show you agree or like what’s being said without having to become a speaker and interrupt, and to have the calendar incorporated into Liminal itself so you’re not redirected to your browser every time you want to view (although this might be hard given the changeable format!).

Thanks ❤️

I am so grateful for Quilt!!

I am so grateful for Quilt. It has allowed me to meet so many incredible people. This isn't a typical "networking app" where people meet, pass out their cards, and no one really cares about getting to know each other. Quilt is all about genuine connection through conversation. As someone who loves getting into conversation around deep topics, Quilt is perfect for this. As for Liminal , it allows me to easily search for Chats and events in my area. Always excited to see the different themes of events coming up near me.

A safe space

I love Liminal. I really do feel that the moderators of Liminal are genuinely involved in making sure that it is a safe space for all. That being said, if you’re looking to start something or just disturb the peace, we don’t want or need that here and I won’t be tolerated. I’ve seen first hand how those things are handled and they won’t allow it and neither will this community of amazing, intelligent, kind human beings. Spread peace and love. ❤️

Thank You

At the moment I really do enjoy listening to each groups, I relate better to some more than others. I’m finding my way around. I haven’t got brave enough to speak to anyone. Maybe I will someday. But I really do enjoy Quilt, it has helped me in someway and others. It’s great to be able to listen to others talk and listening to things that I can apply to me and my lifestyle. Thank You Very Much!!

Good conversation, amazing community

I'm a stay at home, secular homeschooling, creative mom. I love conversations beyond small talk, but it seems really hard to find them. Ever since I was introduced to Liminal a month ago I've had more conversations, felt more connected, and more heard that I have in months. If you're looking for an amazing community of kind, compassionate, supportive souls this is where you'll find it.

I’m obsessed with this platform

I have been hosting and participating in discussions on Quilt since early November 2020 and I’m not exaggerating when I say that it’s been one of the only things that’s kept me sane amidst this pandemic. The womxn (and non binary folks) who have gathered here are a community of gentle souls who crave deep conversation and I always walk away from a chat feeling uplifted. I literally tell all my female friends, clients and colleagues they’ve GOT to join!

So welcoming and fulfilling!!

There are not enough words to express how much you love Quilt once your on it! Super simple to use, the people you meet are amazing, so many resources, and the overall energy is so warm and welcoming. Such a safe space to speak your truth, ask a question, or just chat it up! Thumbs up all around, so happy to have come across Liminal during some trying times.

Fantastic Feminine-Led Community

I’ve been using Quilt for a few months and I have absolutely loved connecting with everyone. Here you can have audio-only chats with a welcoming and inclusive community. Some of my favorite Quilts have been: casual chats about brunch, guided meditations, chats about reiki, and I attend a weekly witchy coven group. Quilt has been a fantastic way for me to make connections this year while staying home.

I love Quilt!

I am so excited Liminal is in Liminal Store! I have spent the past few months on Liminal and have not only had life changing conversations with people who began as strangers and now feel like best friends, I have learned so much through the amazing conversations. It feels like a tight knit community yet welcoming and loving. I am so excited to see how the community expands and how Liminal evolves.

My Favorite Social Network!

Quilt truly stands out as a social network that supports authentic connection and conversations that matter. It is a safe space to discuss vulnerable topics and learn from each other and our unique journeys and perspectives. There are also many amazing experts and practitioners offering their insights and gifts. Quilt is setting a new standard for social networking, thank you!!

Sooo much heart on this app

Wow - I never thought I’d find a social media app with sooooo much heart, connection, and genuine support and uplift of the entire community.

There are wonderful chats (a combination of pre planned and spontaneous) that scratch my itch of much needed social interaction in these Covid times. I’ve learned so much from the community and love engaging in convos where so many incredible people share their gifts.

Best app ever

I’m so glad a couple weeks ago, someone walked into the store I work at wearing an “emotional support” sweatshirt and told me she was an ambassador for Quilt. I said “whaat?” And she shared. I’ve been OBSESSED for a week! What an amazing platform. I feel like it’s group therapy pertaining to infinite personal/emotional help and support. I’ve recommended it to anyone who’ll listen haha thank you!!!!

I love Quilt so much.

I love this platform because it truly gives you a safe space to use your voice and learn from others. The community is supportive and authentic. I haven’t found another platform that holds space for such vulnerable and real conversations. I would highly recommend joining!

Beautiful connections!

Liminal has changed my life! Before using it I was feeling lonely during the pandemic, cut off, and without anyone in my life. Liminal allowed me to connect with other like-minded humans, and feel a sense of community even while social distanced. I know I’ll use it even after the pandemic!
