Good morning. I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding an incredibly frustrating experience at your new location at Menlo Park Mall on Saturday evening, February 28, 2026. I arrived at approximately 5:30 PM and placed my name on the waitlist for bowling. I was told the wait would be about one hour and that I would receive a text notification when our lane was ready. That seemed perfectly reasonable. During that time, we ordered food and played games. After an hour and a half passed without receiving a text, I returned to customer service and was told the wait would now be another hour. I explained that my son has ADD and has difficulty waiting extended periods of time, but we tried to be patient and continued playing games. After two hours, my son was becoming restless and ready to leave, so I went to remove our name from the list. At that point, I was told it would only be “one or two minutes” because a lane was about to be cleared and cleaned. Relieved, we sat directly across from the desk, clearly visible to staff, waiting to be called. Thirty minutes later, I returned to the desk after still not receiving any text notification. I was then told that our lane had been given away because “we weren’t there.” This was shocking. We were sitting directly in front of the desk the entire time, and we never received the promised text notification per your company’s stated protocol. By this point, we had been there nearly three hours. My son was extremely upset, and I was beyond frustrated. I spoke with a manager who apologized, but the only solution offered was to wait again — now with a quoted bowling wait time of over two hours. After spending three hours at your establishment, to be treated this way was unacceptable. The lack of communication, failure to follow your own notification process, and dismissive handling of the situation were incredibly disappointing. I truly do not feel inclined to return after this experience. I would like to know what you intend to do to address this situation and restore my confidence in your business. I look forward to your prompt response.
I was charged $105.50 on 3/13/22 by your company.... I live nowhere near you or have ever even heard of your company... $105! Oh, no. I want to be contacted because that is a fraudulent charge not authorized and will be fought, how you don't have a better security and payment system is beyond me. I expect to be contacted by Monday 3/14/22, this is not a good reputation given all the horrible reviews and other issues about your company.

When trying to sign up, the connection consistently fails. The few times I've made it past the inital sign up screen, the email verification link times out by the time it reaches my inbox. When asking for a password it only allows up to 8 characters, but does require me to store real personal information or else my account may be banned.
Overall, they need to hire a real person or company to develop this app if they expect it to replace their in-store stamp system.

Round1 USA has many issues aside from its app being broken. But what’s the use of an app to link to your card in order to reload or check point balances when it doesn’t work and hasn’t for quite some time? Locations have management that thinks they know the way to run the location and that too is broken. Machines are often half-working. This is FAR FROM a Japanese experience brought to the States. Please fix it all! *bows politely*

I’ve tried several times now to make an account to register my card but every single time I run into the same problem, I enter all the required information it asks me for and then it won’t let me continue and if I’m doing something wrong it’s not telling me that. I tried to make an account on the desktop site and I couldn’t find anyway to do that there so I’m force to try to get this junk app to work.
