Follow-Up on Damaged Luggage Claim – Ethiopia Airlines ET 1045 (Operated by ASKY, KP79) 12th July Nairobi-Dakar I am writing to follow up on a claim I submitted regarding damage to my luggage during my flight from Nairobi to Dakar on 12 July aboard ASKY Airlines. Upon arrival in Dakar, I discovered that the handle of my Samsonite suitcase was broken, rendering it unusable. I reported the issue to your local agent in Dakar and submitted the damaged suitcase along with the required documentation. I was issued an acknowledgment and informed that the suitcase would be sent to Lomé, Togo for assessment, with a decision to repair or replace expected within five weeks. Regrettably, despite the time that has passed, there has been no progress. My colleague in Dakar has followed up several times, but the response remains that Lomé has not yet provided feedback. I kindly request an urgent update on the status of my claim and a clear timeline for resolution. The delay has caused significant inconvenience, and I trust ASKY Airlines will uphold its commitment to customer care and service recovery.
