I've been impressed with how well the GPS data has worked. When we started using Workyard we were trying to eliminate the time consuming back and forth that usually goes into making sure time cards are accurate. One of the biggest problems we have is that our employees forget to clock in when they arrive on site. Workyard allowed us to set the addresses for all of our job sites so that when an employee arrives to the project Workyard uses GPS to capture their actual arrival time. If they forgot to clock in and do it say an hour later we have that audit trail to compare to. We can see that they arrived on site at 7 AM vs an 8:15 AM clock in. Our workers love it because when they forget to clock in it's almost always an honest mistake. This way they feel confident their time card is going to be accurate and they'll get paid what they deserve.

I used a different app at my last company that crashed and randomly lost my hours. Caused me more grief than it was worth. Workyard has been great so far. App just works. Maybe that shouldn’t be something to brag about, but there it is.
I wasn’t going to write a review but after not hearing any complaints from my crew I took that has a pretty big sign that this is a good product. The last app we used caused me so much frustration I eventually deleted it. We spent hours trying to troubleshoot through all the glitches but eventually we gave up. I was able to get everyone set up and using Workyard within a day and we’re now about to pass the time card data into our payroll system. Let’s just say I’m getting to bed earlier. The big surprise with Workyard is all the reporting it’s capable of. I’m getting reports now showing me how much our work time is costing us on each job. I even added cost codes for specific tasks and WorkyardGPSTimeTrackingApp creates reports off of that. Really glad we found it and looking forward to seeing what’s next.
By far the best app I’ve ever used for work. Most consistent and accurate app hands down. Haven’t had any difficulties at all, was very easy to use. I will never use another app for clocking my hours at work.

The clock in process is super simple. Correcting times in real time before the stamp makes it so much easier. Automatically detects the site when you arrive so WorkyardGPSTimeTrackingApp already has the right site readily available.
More convenient sufficient, and less time consuming. This new technology helps workers sign in and sign out in a more sufficient way as far as having to go to a machine Wait in line and then signing her up and with so much new technology at hand, the Workyard app is just brilliant.
I have tried other apps that claim to do time tracking and they end up being so difficult to use that my guys just give up. What’s the point of having an app to track time if nobody uses it? I was skeptical about giving another one a shot but Bill gave me a ring and convinced me to try the free trial. I’m glad he did! My crew uses it every day and I’m finally getting all the info I need with a few mouse clicks instead of searching through binders of time sheets like before.
This is not going to be a review bragging about features I discovered. I just wanted to write this to share that I finally found a time clock app for my company that does something you would expect from all of them. IT WORKS. We were using another app to clock employee hours until out of the blue it started deleting hours. Ended up losing all my information and the company told me there was nothing to do about getting them back. I almost went back to paper but decided to give Workyard a try. We've been using it for a few months and it's been rock solid. It's been so reliable we're thinking about upgrading to the plan that gives us reporting on all our labor costs across projects. That's another problem I've never solved.
