I recently attempted to sign up with Lively, but both their app and website failed to process my registration, repeatedly giving an error. When I reached out to their support team, I received a vague and unhelpful response: "Upon review by our security team, we are unable to open a Lively HSA for you and we have no further information for you." There was no reasoning provided for this decision. This lack of transparency and professionalism is concerning and makes it clear that this company is not trustworthy. I strongly advise others to stay away from this company.

I tried to use Lively for my medical expenses and high deductible health plan. The investing options don’t interest me, I am sick today and need to use my lively card. After depositing $3k and one month later and the debit card still doesn’t work. I have to upload receipts and reimburse myself paying myself out of a different pocket that is mine but now I don’t have access to. Everyone is eligible for one roll out check to switch HSA providers only once a year so I’m making my next choice to move carefully.

My account was denied. After contacting customer service multiple times (during their extremely limited hours) I was told that the security security team reviewed my account and they couldn’t open it. There was nothing they could do.
No option to figure out what the issue was and try and correct it. Just another company trying to collect personal information. 0 stars.
