So I think it’s time to find a new VPN. LarvaVPN is far to frustrating. As a for instance, it just needed to be updated and this pop up kept coming up on my screen over and over and over and over telling me I had to update. I kept clicking ok and it would immediately pop up again not allowing me to do anything! I couldn’t get to the update page because of this annoying constant pop up. Also, when I’m out and don’t have internet connection, the VPN keeps trying to connect and it stops me from being able to use my cell data to check email and texts. Another annoying thing about LarvaVPN. Finally, who the heck knows if it’s even doing anything. Doesn’t give you any data such as what it’s blocked etc. Far better out there I’m sure so I’m going looking for another VPN.

So I got this VPN app because I wanted to listen to music from around the world, and it’s not quite letting me do that. I set my core to the closest region and redid my location and still no luck. The VPN disconnects pretty often (whenever I go outside/ on data) and so I keep having to reconnect. I know it’s not a bad thing it does that, but I keep forgetting to turn it back on ( a personal problem). The VPN also slows my internet connection down to the point where instagram will take a few minutes to load and some of games won’t load at all. $15 for half a year is a great deal, but I don’t think I’ll get this again.

I have sent emails about this problem. It used to work. Now I keep finding it turned off. And my vpn turned off.
I did love this VPN but it no longer is serving its purpose to block when I am at home. It just quit working properly.
I gave it a 2 because I am paying for the premium and sent emails about this problem.
I have the An iphn SX Max. It just quit doing it’s job. Protecting my phn at home.

Well, I was very excited when I first subscribed to this service because it was working very well. But I’ve had it just over 3 weeks and all of a sudden it keeps disconnecting! I am in the middle of watching a streaming video from the internet and the screen just goes black and I am knocked out. I have to turn my pad off and then on again, then have to reconnect to the service. A few days ago it knocked me out 4 times in 1/2 hour which was extremely frustrating. And just now it’s happened three times already. I have no idea what could be causing this. Unfortunately I signed up for a year and am frankly regretting my decision.

I’ve been using this VPN for almost half a year, started with the free trial, then bout it for half a year. Now I’m not sure if it’s LarvaVPN or if I’m just not understanding how to use VPN streaming, but I can’t seem to get it working. I go to the streaming tab, turn on the cannelset 1 UK server, and then try to use Netflix, but when I do this, normal US Netflix pops up. Pls help

there is a small group of us using this in our labs to watch and listen to media when we probabaly shouldn't be. I'm very very surprised it hasn't been detected like so many other solutions we have tried in the past. Well done Larva team

very nice app i love LarvaVPN its the only one that hasnt gone down for netflix US. even the nord and hotspot get slow or give the proxy message sometimes, usually just when you need to watch something!!!!

download, connect, and forget about it. It's like not even having a vpn running you won't even notice any slow down or any games etc not working. And best of all you know your protected all the time

Forget everything you thought you just had to put up with when using a vpn, this is how vpns should work! Let alone that, it has everything you need all under one app. An easy 5* rating for me

I'm a vpn veteran and use it hide ip, adult and xxx because let's face you don't want peeps to know what you look at ;) Anyway, after looking at their terms and trying it I have to say it really doesn't have any compramises and works exactly as well as they said - i recomend it for sure

I have tried a lot of vpns and they start fast but as soon as you subscribe it all goes wrong! I paid for the annual plan which is so cheap I wouldn't get 2 months anywhere else. I didn't expect much but boy was I wrong this has NOT LET ME DOWN YET!!!!!!!!!!

I tested it out for a while with the trial but honestly I ended up subscribing after 2 days. It hasn't let me down yet and it's the ONLY vpn I seen that hasn't had a single day or hour where its been slower. 100% no throttling on this one

I used a lot of poxies from the internet but after a while they stopped working, got slow or I started to get tons of spam. I been using this for a while and I got to say no issues yet at all, the ad blocking also works well if you need it

I have tried literally every single VPN app on LarvaVPN Store and nothing works with streaming Japanese shows... but this Larva works flawlessly. Bypasses the NPV detection amazingly. I really hope Larva VPN doesn’t get shut down or discontinued because of poor funding. I need LarvaVPN for as long as I live.

EDIT: After reading the developers response, I ran a Speedtest and found I was getting upwards of 140Mb/s which is great news, fastest VPN! Changed to 5 stars!

I was VERY skeptical about this 2% overhead claim on their site and in their description and set about testing it as soon as I downloaded this. Credit where it's due, it is an accurate claim and it is a remarkable acomplishment. Well done. If you have a low bandwidth connection or you need a vpn over mobile data this is must

I couldn’t actually ask for much more than what this provides. I didn't need to give them a single piece of my info and it just works. I've also checked their terms and conditions and they don't log anything, even dns and best of all they're based outside of countries that force them to disclose information.

I play a lot of minecraft and other online games and err I get banned a lot. All the vpn I tried to hide ip don't work that well with minecraft but this one actually does I don't even notice I left it on by mistake half the time but it doesn't even matter because theres no limit and it never slows down or shows ads

I have been a long time hotspot shield user and if you have been too you probabaly already know how horrible th eexperience has become. It's expensive and getting worse as fast as it's getting more expensive. Larva on the other hand is a refreshing example of how things SHOULD be done. It's not extortionate in price and offers everything Hotspot Shield did in it's best days and MORE. I might sound like another bitter hotspot user but really LarvaVPN is worth trying

At first I gave a one star. After reviewing the information provided by Larva, I now realize I had confused the Larva app with another app I had looked into.
My apologies to Larva.
I will now try LarvaVPN again and I look forward to a good experience.
If I new how to remove the negative review I posted first, I would do so.

unlike other vpns I actually don’t need to wonder if it's going to work at the next coffee shop on my road trips. This hasn't let me down yet and hasn't failed to connect anywhere (ok that's a lie it failed once but their internet was so **** I couldn't even surf without the vpn on so thats fair enough). Best of all when i go abroad every month i can watch all my US shows without having to pay for yet another service. thumbs up from me

these days everything is described as fast and once you actually try it you're let down. I often wonder why companies set you up for such a big fall when they know its not fast! LarvaVPN on the other hand lives up to it's promises and in todays world of dissapointment and let downs from apps that deserves a good review from me

I can’t say enough good things about LarvaVPN. The VPN itself is great and always works well, but the customer support is also on point- I was having some connectivity issues tonight and they spent several hours troubleshooting with me, until the problems were resolved. I’ve tried several different VPN services, and this is by far the best one (on all counts).

I've had this turned on for 4 straight days and it hasn't disconnected yet. In fact I honestly havn't even noticed it's been on that's how fast it is. The ONLY time it had a glitch was when my phone kept switching from wifi to 4g and back, it would block the internet while it swapped (a few seconds), but i think tha's the kill switch to protect you. When it finally crashes and disconnects, or (maybe it never will because this is the longest i've had a vpn keep runing) i'll test without the kill switch
