I went through the whole set up process and was receiving emails as the steps were completed. Great, off to a good communication start. The final step of waiting for approval from their banking partner was taking a while (no problem), I get a random text message saying “congratulations your bank account has been approved” there was no link or further instructions......
I found that very odd as I hadn’t received an email stating any of this?
I downloaded WiseBusinessBanking and signed into my “new” bank account, no problems.
I’ve tried contacting the company about 10+ times through their online “contact us/chat” (which always says back in 1,2,3 or whatever hours!) to verify that this was a legitimate contact from the text etc before I go ahead and link any of my outside bank accounts. I’ve had zero responses and I am also unable to link my website for card payments through PayPal etc.
Horrible customer service and no phone number!
I’m off to Wells Fargo to open up a real bank account, I was really hoping this was going to be a good option for my business.

Don’t waste your time. Like others have said, it takes forever to get everything set up. Even after I had the debit card in hand, WiseBusinessBanking simply didn’t work, and there was no website it just said “download WiseBusinessBanking .”

The site is finally live and WiseBusinessBanking working, however like others have said, there is no option for depositing a check. WiseBusinessBanking only allows you to link a debit account to transfer in money, meaning I would have to deposit my business earnings into my personal account just to transfer them to my business account. HELLO!!! I opened this account to keep my business funds SEPARATE from my personal funds.

This “bank” is absolutely moronic.

In a nutshell, this startup is sorely lacking anything to be successful. Stupid tactics to get you in, then once you’re in you are on your own. No, really. No customer service, no phones, no answers to chats, you’re luck if you hear back in a week. Invoicing doesn’t work and the clock is ticking on fee free swipes and invoices. Not only that, do you know what card reader is comparable? Me neither, they don’t answer to tell you. Go elsewhere. Save the headache.

Company takes a week just to let you know if you have been approved or declined. Most of the features don’t work, there is a lack of response and they are looking to steal your information. It’s definitely a scam, the people who are opening your account are not EVEN in AMERICA but India.

Complete waste of time. Takes forever to get setup, support is not helpful and once “approved” the features are very limited.

So after pleading with my husband to use wise for our business banking acct, I should’ve listened to him and went elsewhere. But I really wanted to give wise a chance. 1st off it takes forever to be accepted, & once accepted finally go to deposit checks into account only to find out WiseBusinessBanking doesn’t offer mobile deposit so you have to mail your checks in. So after 2 weeks of opening the acct my checks finally arrive, get a text saying whole amount available, but go into WiseBusinessBanking and only half the amount was available. Then tried transferring half to different acct and it takes a day to verify (why when it’s approved already). So either way unfortunately this bank acct does nothing but hurt my business by not allowing me my funds instantly and the fact you have to mail in a check at your expense too.

I was a little wary of ditching BofA for my business account, so I dipped my toe in first and found the water was fine. Now I can pay and (more importantly) get paid without having to navigate a complicated web of apps. One app to manage my entire business. Customer service is pretty good too.

I use Wise to make all the payments, really easy -- single click and it's paid! Also, I don't mind earning the interest, which we do not get on our other checking accounts.

Very convenient online banking. You can send money instantly to any other Visa card. Bank transfers are also fast.

I can’t believe how many different layered services Wise replaces for me. PayPal, Venmo, Wells Fargo, Square. I just use Wise for all of that now!

Got Wise out of curiosity for my LLC - stayed for the ease and convenience! Greatest proof point was I had to close my books on 12/31/19- my biz account with Chase got locked out due to a suspicious transaction concern - thankfully made all my vendor payables for year end- instantly via Wise on new year eve- closed my books. Chase took 2 biz days to unblock my account. Staying with Wise - they came thru when my biz needed them most!
