I’ve been playing this game for over two years now, and I have spent plenty. However, the creative mindset of this game is becoming the greedy mindset. They are choking off rewards and therefor choking off the players not spending thousands a month if not thousands a week. Yes, it exist in this game.

When bugs in the game cost you greatly the developers have very good replies, “Sorry boss, we see no problems and no one is reporting these problems so we cannot help you.” You go on Social media and these same problems are being discussed by other players on their official social media sites and they have discussed their tickets and the lip service replies from West Game.

Find a new game to pass your time and get in at the ground level before there developers become as greedy as West Game developers have over the last year.

This game is a waste of time and money. They will sucker you in and once you are in they keep you there. The only thing and I mean the only thing that keeps most hanging on is the people. The game is set up to cost you money and keep you rebuilding. Trust me I’ve played this game for almost 3 years. They encourage you to participate in events that kill off your troops and you use all the rewards earned in the event just to try and rebuild. Like others have said this game is won by the fullest wallet. And if you don’t keep up you are eventually relegated. Are you going to shield your base and play the game until your 60 or 70? Always checking your shield , always trying to keep up?? I wish I NEVER signed up for this game. Thousands of dollars and hours and hours worth of your life you will never get back…. A total waste for a split second of glory. NOT WORTH IT. Heed my words and walk away while you still can. Don’t make the mistake I did.

The devs of this game are completely incompetent. On December 27, 2021 they implemented an update which stated the rewards for completing a task were 1000 chests. Players only received 100 chests from completing those tasks, but it was beneficial for them to do so and teams of players completed these tasks en mass to great rewards.

The devs realizing they screwed up, chose the worst possible way to “reconcile” the issue they created. Without communication they began removing items from players accounts. They claim they only took back the rewards players got from their big, but they took back other items and with no consistency between players. Many people spend lots of money on this game and the devs just deleted and removed things they paid for.

Many players are opening claims with their banks, credit card companies, and apple requesting refunds for what these developers have stolen.

I’ve played this game for many years. There have been multiple issues with it. The most current one is with an event called Conquest. Your troops are supposed to go into your battlefield hospital and get completely revived after the event. This time, my troops got sent to my monument and only half of them went there, as it happens when troops go to monument. They sent a mail apologizing and gave revives for those in monument, but they still never restored the other half that I was never supposed to lose. So, they essentially just took troops out my town I trained and spent money on and have done nothing about it. They’ve done this to people before in various scenarios, and it honestly is ridiculous. When you spend time and money on entertainment, you expect fun, good results not continual errors and no positive solution for the player base. This game fails to deliver in that capacity on repeat.

Played for a year before the latest changes. This was a fun game to battle opponents and join a community of friends. Took close to 8 months of boring FarmVille growth before my account was effective in battle. Had to stay shielded and avoid getting zeroed. Just when the game got fun battling other alliances and states, the developers added a major setback back to FARMING play doing dailies and hiding from whales.
I used to enjoy playing all the events and trying to outsmart my opponents in battle. Win some lose some.
If you are looking for a great strategy war game and willing to spend thousands, this is a great game for you. Anyone else even willing to pay hundreds of dollars should move on and play something else. It’s fun to battle but who wants to Farm and shield for a year before they can have fun???? Developers just trashed what was a fun game.

Don’t download unless you have tens of thousands of dollars to spend if you want to even consider trying to play competitively.
This game used to be great until the developers decided to release countless updates where the only way you can get the new items is spending thousands.
People who play for free, or even people who spend money lightly on this game are at such a massive disadvantage compared to the players who spend thousands, it’s a joke.
Games like these are always Pay to win, however this game used to be more balanced in the past. Now? I do not recommend downloading this game unless you are okay with constantly using peace shields to prevent your town from getting attacked and everything wiped out in an instant. Which even then, you will need gold to buy peace shields so unless you’re in an alliance where other people spend money, you aren’t getting gold often for free.

It’s good game , and I still playing it but in my experience don’t use your credit information on this game there is no option to track your purchase and you must depend on what email you got and what apple shows you ! Or what statement your bank gives you! Whit delay!! Every time I purchased my bank block my card and called me then I approved it’s me come on I was enjoying winning against other alliance and totally forgot about risks! On guess but they bill you with delay between your purchases in same time you purchase one it’s actually 3 ! And if you do my mistake and change your credit card they simply got opportunity to charge twice on both card! I simply after one month playing got 3000 $ bills but I am sure I bought 3rd of that the rest some how is fraud ! Or overcharge or mistake I don’t know let see what authority gonna say! Have fun use prepaid credit card

I read the reviews. And said to myself that I would give it a go. I played it nonstop for three weeks and found that it was absolutely maddening to even attempt to complete anything. First of all there is no way that you can avoid the mishaps that you’re trying to avoid. Number two you have no choice in who you pick to be on your quest. The tutorial does not tell you half of the things necessary in order for you to succeed. You cannot make any money. You cannot make enough money in trade in order to continue. You eitherGet sick break a leg need a harmonica or a multitude of what you don’t have room for in your wagon to get. The worst thing to me about this game is that there are no incentives. And the incentives are meager. The other issue is you have no option to buy with real money a pack of things to help you play. So this game has been deleted

I like the game and have spent a fair amount of money on it, but that’s not good enough to compete. No matter how much u spend, the game is designed for u’r troops to die. Months of hard work and hundreds of dollars, even thousands, and all u’r troops can and will be gone in a matter of seconds when ur shield drops. Guaranteed! They add more things for the big money guys to buy to make them stronger at everyone else’s expense. So much has been added that spending no money will take 2 years to be competitive, and if u bought u’r way thru it all, it still takes 6 months and tens of thousands of dollars. The average spender it will take about a year. And even then, u can and will be zeroed by the bigger money guys. As much as I like it and play it, I don’t recommend it unless u have a ton of money for it. They need to change it so it’s harder to kill u’r troops. If u’r not a spender, don’t waste u’r time I’m afraid. I’m just keeping it real.

This game is fun as u meet people around the world the idea is not new though but if u don’t spend a lot of money you wont reach any target as you will be weak for ages and get bullied all the time by higher forces and the prices of the permanent skin packs 100$ for 150 pieces is ridiculous and most of the packs are the same and not worth spending money on it and I really wish that the game could find a strategy about attacking small bases it’s not fair a billion player force to attack a 100m force no chance to defend yourself and that’s why most of the small forces did quit the game because they don’t have a chance to grow without spending a lot of money to defend themselves I really hope that my review could make a little change for the developers and try to make a better Environment and new strategy for attacking small players especially in svs because if we are not big enough we can’t even obtain such as most of the events!

This game is similar in concept to many others wherein you build up your main power base via research, training, construction, upgrades, and such. Joining an alliance to work together, also a standard. The issue is the severe pay to win mentality. Once you pass like level 15 or so, definitely 20 and higher, the requirements for upgrade and training are so astronomical both in resources needed and time span to accomplish that it is utterly ridiculous. It is money grubbing of the worst sort as the hame caters to “wallet warriors” who pay $thousands to grow. Nobody who doesn't spend a LOT of real money will get far. Also there is no system in place to limit how far below one’s own power level someone can attack. Continually, the most careful of players get smashed mercilessly because something happened in real life causing them to miss renewing a defensive shield. Literally months and months of hard work are destroyed in a split second when someone with a billion force smashes someone with one million, or ever 50 million. Do not play this game unless you want to live under a shield or open a very wide wallet.

Good way to pass time and escape reality for awhile. Made a lot of friends through out the world and enjoy talking to them every day.
Gold and speedup are hard to come by unless you spend a fortune purchasing packs. Even when you do get packs the value is poor. Some researches take over 200 days and the cost of 3 day speedups is expensive. And every time you go to up grade a building (past lvl 21) there is always something extra you need and also cost additional money to acquire. Everything cost on this game. It evens cost to switch sheriff skills. Devs need to adjust some of these things. The rss, gold, speedups require for mercenaries is outrageous. Taking for ever to complete unless you spend hundreds of dollars. The game is fun and I do enjoy it but it’s very hard to be competitive. I would give it 4 stars if they didn’t try to milk you for every dime you have.

Played this game for over a year. It’s very expensive if you want to enjoy the game. There can be lots of pressure from alliance members to grow faster or fight more often than you would like depending on the alliance your in, and ofcourse that all cost money. Unless you have very deep pockets I would suggest another game as I tried for a long time to build up my troops only to finally have my Shield drop while offline and lose and lot of effort, money, time. There is also a major issue with selling accounts to newbies and to compete you will need atleast 2 accounts ; 1) for fighting and 2) for resources. The strategy and graphics are good as the game can be fun if you want to spend, spend, spend. Not much strategy or skill in out spending other players. I became tired of chasing force of others and had one foot out the door when my shield dropped. There is good support for game play. Most expensive game I ever played.

The game is nothing like the west game ads shown in other games. The ads show a sherif walking down a town street deciding to help a woman or turning her in for a reward. The game is nothing like that. You can't walk down any street like shown in the ad and interact with characters. This is just a war game with a western feel. That being said, I like the game. Growth is slow unless you pay money. They keep trying to add more things to do in the game but they keep making it harder to get anywhere in the game without spending money
If your just starting the game...the first 5 days you are protected from attacks as long as you don't attack. So make sure to be on a lot during that time and constantly build build build and make traps and troops to take advantage of that protection
WestGame support button in the Apple Store does NOT work.
App support within the game using the support button is extremely slow and crashes when trying to add photos So email for support instead.

The first thing I’m saying is that this game advertises, in the ads there is a sheriff that can help a girl or betray her. That is nothing like the real game. So the first thing you should do is make it so that the ads show what’s actually in the game.
the second thing is that when your trying to create a guild or group, no one can do the name they want, maybe you can change it so that even if the name is taken there’s a close name and it shows up.
The third thing is when your attacking a town or something like that. The other towns always come back on you in like 5-10 min, also you have to deal with towns that are very good.
this game needs these improvements. Developers if your reading this please fix these!

This is a really good game, of course it has the same issues every pay to play game has, big spenders. Let’s face it though, that’s the reason these guys create these games, to make as much money as possible so that will not change. You have to learn to stay shielded and try and grow in a good alliance. Some states are terrible and others are more cooperative so look around.
If you can’t stay on top of your shields daily then you will get frustrated quickly when you are continually attacked and wiped out and you have to basically start over.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to enjoy the game, you can’t spend enough to keep up with the whales anyway so don’t try… just relax and enjoy.

I love this game. Actually had 3 accounts going. I needed to delete my games due to work schedule. Rather delete than get zeroed and have my emails tied up with account. That way I can start fresh when I play again. But trying to delete is difficult. You have to APPLY to delete your own accounts. And please have a great memory of when you actually created your account because your application won’t go through. I’m very frustrated and wonder by the time I get to delete these accounts if I want to play again. Delete should just have a delete button. Not an application. I didn’t have to apply to play or make in game purchases. Jeez

West game is different from most due to theme from a period of US history, which is opened to world to enjoy. Gold is provided by the game with the right alliance. The right alliance makes the game slightly easier to play and more enjoyable.
There are different ways to play. You can strive for self-sufficiency or build military force. Attack outlaws. Raid gangs of bandits. Be a gold / material buyer, or wait to see what the game provides. One potential downside is as your town center and town buildings increase in level, the requirements increase as well making the game more challenging. West game combines strategy with luck, but offers ways and means to acquire what you need to keep playing. Enjoy!

Excellent game to fill in those extra minutes during the day… you don’t have to commit hours which is nice. I have been playing since the game began! And absolutely love it. There’s only one thing that I really wish they would change. For those people who have other things going on in their life and cannot always get back to the game at the exact minute you need to. I really really wish they would allow you to stack your shields. So if you have two hours left and you use a 24 hour shield you should have 26 hours left on your shield. It would make it so much easier and allow the people that cannot devote 24 hours a day to playing the game to be able to play a lot easier. I pray that the game gods that write the game could actually read this and make the change. Here’s me crossing my fingers. Ha ha. But other than that an exceptionally good game! Lots of fun.

I play this game to pass the time. Only thing I hate is having to always have up a peace shield. Get with a strong alliance and build up your forces (Circa prior to the NATIONAL PANDEMIC)…..This GAME has been more therapeutic than ANYTHING for me and my mental health. Yeah the bugs, attacks, blah blah blah…But the 5 star rating here speaks to the creative mindset of the developers. So from a “honorary 1st responder” thanks. I live in Brownsville Brooklyn. I work for a CURE VIOLENCE Nonprofit called SOS BROOKLYN/ Neighbors in Action. We are community based and work to “cure violence” using a wrap around service model ( mediation, therapeutic services, community/ civic engagement…) WE HAVE BEEN DOING THE MENTAL WORK, that the talking heads seem to have just noticed. With that being said, playing a strategic game that allows me to escape to a fantasy world, is so amazing. The animations are cartoon enough, the bonuses are fair enough, and the idea that players and avatars across the world can chime in and become a community WITH A COMMON GOAL‼️‼️‼️ Is a blessing. So 5 stars for creating a safe space for a person who has PTSD and has used this game as one of the many tools to keep my “self care” intact. This is fantasy that I can go when the real world has turned into the upside down. So thanks 🙏🏾
