I have payed every Delicious game that has come out. Knowing this was a Match 3 game made me hesitant. Match 3 games are known for being huge ripoffs to consumers, as the levels eventually get so difficult they are impossible to finish without using boosters. And this has become the case, too, with this game. I am at Level 54, and have been enjoying the game but now at level 54, I am done with this game. I’ve tried this level maybe 20 times and can’t beat it without boosters. This level has only 35 moves, and you have to get all this: uncover 15 cookies and collect 40 oranges. Not to mention that it takes two tries to uncover the grass to get the cookies, there is a moving river that shifts all the pieces so strategically planning a move is impossible. Oh, and the oranges have to be “grown” from two trees next to the river and they require 3 different combinations next to the trees so they spout oranges. Then you have to somehow match oranges to collect the oranges, which are scattered throughout the board. In 35 moves. Ummm nope. I’m going to nope right out of this game, and shame on you for creating a game that forces you to purchase boosters. And the boosters are so expensive that the coins you purchase don’t last long. I seriously object to this kind of extortion.

I wasted 2-hour’s worth of lives and 16 boosters (yes’ you read that right, SIXTEEN) on a level that is unbeatable. I had already had issues with this game and the difficulty of its levels before but this was the last straw. This proves to me that the game designers set the difficulty of the higher levels to such a degree that they’re impossible to win without blowing a bunch of money on power ups and boosters.
And, again, that would be fine if the story after Mary and Gilbert’s wasn’t a total snooze fest. I’m still yet to understand what the hell these two old dudes are doing at the B&B, what, if anything they have to do with Emily and the gang, and how exactly an outdoor yoga studio is involved. Speaking of yoga studios, three diamonds each just to watch Emily do five yoga poses?! Screw you, designers. Nobody cares! That’s it. I’m done. I’ve already deleted this game and am moving on to something else. My biggest regret is the time I wasted on this pathetic game and it’s crap storylines. I may still play the Gamehouse simulation/time management games, but I’m staying far away from anymore match-3 games they make. This was two months of my life wasted that I’m never getting back.

I’ve been playing this game pretty much since it came out. I played all the available levels and finished all available chapters and then they’d release a round of new levels every so often. Once again the chapters have run out but there are a lot of “new” levels to play - HOWEVER they are not new at all. I’ve actually started recognizing levels - they’ve just started recycling them. I’m on level 862 and have accumulated more than 200 diamonds, yet can’t advance in the game because there are no new chapters. Somethin’ ain’t right.
Additionally they changed the rate at which stars renew to EXTREMELY long times. It used to take 2 hours at the maximum, now some of them are 12 hours! And you used to get 50 coins just for finishing a level, now you get 30.
It would be one thing if it has always been that way, but when something changes to affect the customer negatively, it all feels like cheap dishonest strategies to get you to spend money to continue playing, and yet the levels are recycled. New levels would have at least held my interest while you took your time developing new chapters but this is crappy. Deleting.
