My Hipstamatic classic works beautifully on my iPhone but on my iPad it crashes on saving. Any clues?

App doesn’t even open - open app get the screen with the cameras on it for a split second then back to my Home Screen - very annoying as I was going to become a full member once my 3 month trial finishes but now I’m not so sure about paying £30 a year for an app that’s buggy as hell!
