They purposely make it hard to cancel, you can’t cancel through Commune or subscriptions, you have to email and they ignored all of my emails until 4 months later and refuse to issue any refund.

I paid $50 for a course that I’m unable to use because the platform is not thought out at all. The videos do not play on the web. They start and stop randomly although I have no connectivity issues on any other websites at the time. The only way to download the videos to avoid this problem is to a phone or a tablet but the size of the video will be too small to be able to truly learn anything. Nevertheless I tried and was not even able to log into Commune because I originally logged into the website using facebook account and this option does not exist with an app. I tried creating a password and received an email with a link that does not work. I pressed the CONTACT US button on the website but that link is broken as well. I would not recommend dealing with this company until they figure out how to create a platform that works.

I was looking forward to accessing Commune, unfortunately, when I opened it, voiceover saw absolutely no text except for the page selector which would switch me from pages one through four. No text anywhere. Giant Accessibility failure that is not OK since Apple publishes clear guidelines on how to make your app voiceover friendly. Big fat loser!

You will no longer be charged for this subscription. - I have been a member for a while and canceled my subscription for a bit. I stayed on their email list because I intended to start back with them in the future. I opened one of their emails the other day about a course and decided to start back with them. There was a two week free trial available so I thought I would take them up on it. When I went to start looking at courses today, I realized I did not have a membership with them and found this email from a couple of days ago that I didn’t notice. There’s always Yoga International Mindvalley and several others to go with if they don’t wanna honor their agreements.

Commune and website don’t sync and if you want to cancel your subscription you need to send an email. And look out bc the humans responding to the emails are not helpful. To spare you a long review detailing an infuriating 20 email exchange with this app, let’s sum it up to, I have attempted to cancel my membership twice to which they cut and paste their no refund policy back to me and keep charging me. I have multiple subscription services and have Never had such a difficult time ending a service. The content is great but my experience with is service has been so frustrating I do Not suggest joining. Buy the courses a la carte or do them when free.

As I subscribed to annual subscription, 14-day free trial is offered as a deal. The this app website claims that they will remind me as the end of trial window approaches. Even after providing payment information, I cannot access any of the courses. I’m sure these courses are life changing but I’ve no way to verify. I’m truly disappointed with this experience. I’ll not recommend this app to anyone.

Commune has so much great stuff. It would be amazing, if it weren’t for the fact that trying to use the web version is a total bust. You can’t save favorites and you just get shown all these random courses you were automatically signed up for when you purchase a membership. And there’s no way to remove them! I spent $500 to purchase a yoga course and I barely use it because a) I want to be able to use it on my laptop, but having to search for it every time pisses me off and b) I can’t just save my favorite videos and view them. It’s a really crappy user experience and I’m really bummed I spent the money.

I want to continue where I left the video after closing Commune . It is so hard to search where I was.

I love the idea of using an app rather than needing to visit the website, log in and find my content. An app feels streamlined to exactly the content I intended to view but Commune isn’t complete and you don’t get all the worksheets required for some classes and there isn’t any indication that they are only on the website. I will try another one, but my hopes aren’t high.

I downloaded Commune & input my name * address & my phone number & of course the payment credit card info, but when I tried to open Commune , it wouldn’t open at all. It kept saying it has no internet connection which is not true. For I have internet connection and access for all of my other devices.

So be alarmed 😱!

I found this app’s content to be so helpful and useful to my mental and emotional health that I invested in a lifetime membership during a recent sale (it goes on sale for 50% off from time to time). I appreciate that the context is continually being updated and that it is all accessible via the iPad app, iPhone app, and computer. Commune works well for me. I don’t have any problem accessing the content, other than occasional slow loading of large summit courses, and haven’t had any issues signing in.

For me Commune has been a life changer I have the lifetime membership and everything is great from videos and app function has always been marvelous. Get lifetime membership is soooo worth it

Listening can be done without being online. The updates make it so much easier to navigate what I want. Highly recommended over other wellness apps.

I have been using the this app app for a few years because it has some of my favorite teachers. I am impressed with the way it is organized, how easy it is to move through the course because of its bite-size pieces. I love that it has such a big variety.

I feel that what I have learned has made an impact in my life. Right now I started sharing a new course on hypnotherapy with my teenage daughter when we drive to school. I feel that since our time is limited, I want to share information that we can both enjoy learning and using.

I love Commune! There are so many things on here to explore. It taught me how to meditate and was essential in my recovery from ptsd by helping me reconnect with my body. It’s got great content for self-reflection and getting your brain to operate outside its typical constraints/thought patterns. Commune introduced me to ideas that forever affected the way I see myself and humanity as a whole. I’ve also discovered unique yoga, body work, trauma perspective, binaural tones, compassionate practices, and exotic sounds. I can’t wait to see what else they come out with! Commune is set up pretty well for organizing content and picking favorites. At the end of the day it’s my favorite thing to do to unwind my mind.

This is app is excellent because it brings you wonderful lessons from very renowned instructors right to your phone. Can’t beat that!

I like that I can download videos to view offline.

I was happy to see Commune and thought accessing the course I purchased before app was created will be easy and more streamlined. However Commune turned totally useless to me. To unlock my course I need to go to website, log in, then go back to Commune and only then am able to use it. Even after downloading course in app onto my phone I still get locked out and have to go to website anyways and then back to Commune . Very frustrating to have these extra steps added. Plus every time I open Commune I get prompted to buy the course I already purchased via web. Wish it was recognized by Commune automatically upon logging into Commune .
