Tried Surge5 and I got scammed. Woke up the next day and all of my stuff are gone. Very upset and disappointed.

Surge5 is complete garbage. Every single feature is locked behind a 50$/year paywall and you can’t even setup a basic firewall

Too expensive to have, similar alternative applications are very right, and the price is very high! Not worth it! Garbage! No refund date! Don’t buy it!

Unable to use it on my old device which was purchased and working well .
Ask to force update to ios15 unless you lose all the functions you have paid for

All the most useful features are blocked by a fifty dollar paywall, completely rendering Surge5 useless. All I want to be able to use MitM to create an ad-blocking paywall, but it’s just not worth $50. I can understand a max of ten, but now I will have to find better alternatives.

Love Surge5 but my Whois function never loads. How do I fix this?

How to switch TCP Packet capture to allow UTF 16? I'm stuck where packet capture cannot pick up unicode chars. I accidentally hit it once, but idk how to change it back. If you can tell me how, I'll purchase full version. Thanks.

RUN DONT WALK & DOWNLOAD I purchased the $50 packet WORTH EVERY FREAKING PENNY. I highly suggest if you download you purchase the upgraded version! They respect apple and their terms of use. & PROVIDE YOU WITH A LEGITIMATE LICENSE That apple respects!! So no legal issues in studying and blocking the third parties requests & their connections to gather your data or should i say compromise 😅, you can BLOCK EACH ONE COMPLETELY! I am honestly amazed beyond words and I sincerely want to thank every developer & brainstormers that contributed in the creation of this miraculous app. Literal Geniuses!!!. you guys are phenomenal, thank you so much!:)

Surge is the best proxy/vpn client on iOS, it offers best performance for various proxy/vpn protocols.

Hello Dear Dev. please consider adding OpenVPN Protocol. It’s useful when user wants to wrap OpenVPN traffic through SSH, HTTP, etc. Specially in countries with heavy crackdown on internet like iran. please add Vless Protocol. And for last please add monthly payment option. u can help peaple all over the world. Thank you.

There are many malicious comments due to payment issues. But it’s a great app for sure.

Hands down the most versatile network debugger for iOS you can ever find on the market. A little pricey but totally worth every penny.

I've been using Surge for iOS and Surge for Mac for over a year. It's incredible. Superior to tools like Charles Proxy and Fiddler in many ways, and it can run entirely on your phone or tablet. (But if you want a desktop UI, too, you can connect Surge for Mac as a companion. Best of both worlds.)

The traffic capture is the best I've found for iOS - a combination of a local VPN server and a local proxy server that can intercept everything I've needed it to - with robust support for MITM SSL decryption. You can dig through captured requests & responses, complete with syntax highlighting, right on the device. (I'd love a more efficient & advanced request viewer UI on iPad, though.)

And, dear Surge devs, please try to solicit app ratings! You don't deserve this low 3.4 star app rating. It undersells your fantastic product.

I use this software to improve the online network for Nintendo game consoles. This software can use the personal hotspot of the mobile phone to accelerate the game console, which is really easy to use.

Truly amazing and powerful for anyone with the understanding required to use it. It’s feature set is unparalleled as far as I’m aware of.

My only gripe is that there need to be useful examples in the documentation! There are none. Show me the awesome things I can do with Surge because it’s a steep learning curve and examples would get me there quicker!

Price is a little high but more feature and accessibility than almost any other network application
