I love WasteConnect. How do you make an attractive picture of a garbage truck and a trash bin for the icon and loading page? Maybe they did a simple watercolor filter on it but it looks really nice in bright green and blue. I show it to everyone.

From a functional standpoint, I am able to quickly find out if the trash is delayed due to holiday or not, and I think I can use it to schedule a bulk pick-up. Obviously, the Apple Watch reminder to put the bins out is lovely. Way to go, app design and development team. THE McKinney App of 2019.

I like WasteConnect because it allows me to know when I should expect the garbage truck to come. And if they are running behind it’s more getting messages to my cell phone. That way I don’t put trash out if they ain’t coming. And when I should expect them meaning the time Of the day they will show. Thank you for WasteConnect and for giving us the information prompt

First let me say the information that is provided is really good. All that I need to know about what, when and where is there. But I am know learning it only goes so far with all of the service WasteConnect provides. I have receiving on time notices about pickup day and time but I’m noticing that when a routine pickup is not going to be made NO notice is given. I don’t mind the no pickup but are we assume it will be picked up later that day or maybe the next day? Please provide information about no pickup as well as scheduled pickup.

I think this is some serious effort for a garbage company app and I like the service, the reminders, the recycling search feature, all great stuff. However, once I set an address I lose the ability to search. So I have to choose between notifications or searching recyclables, and if I want to remove my address so I can have the search again I have to delete WasteConnect . There is a general menu, can not the search recyclable feature go here?

Attention New customers: Get in writing what your first month or quarter fee is. Jennifer will not tell you there will be a start up fee which is actually a canister fee. Make sure they put an order in for both new customer and new can deliver, or the first week, u will pay but no collection. What a way to make money! They will pick up for one month and send you the next quarter bill. They told me I was actually getting it cheaper then anyone else. Right? I bet NOT. Worst customer service. Oh, and she hung up on me and tried to play it off as if she didn’t. Know your job or let someone else do it for you Jennifer.

From their equipment to their staff they are very professional and seem to be proud of what they do which puts a smile on my face when I see them and we wave at each other. I try to remember to have a Christmas card we may be a little extra in it for the drivers and all their hard work they perform throughout the year.

I would rate WasteConnect 5 stars if they gave the option to pay for the entire year through it. I know this isn’t a feature of WasteConnect , but an option provided by the company, but it sure would be nice to make one payment for the user and not have to worry about it again. I can do it if I call over the phone so why not make it an option on WasteConnect ?

I will have to admit, being a senior citizen, I had trouble remembering if it was trash day or recycle and trash day. WasteConnect has really helped me, because some weeks I don’t put the recycle bin out, because I don’t have much, so I wait until the next time. The problem is that I can’t remember when the next time is. As I said, WasteConnect is real helpful for me. Thank you.

WasteConnect works great, tells me when I should expect my trash and recycling to be picked up and provides reminders too. Too bad the service is not the same. Since the two companies combined I’ve had irregular services, no response to voicemail, email, and communication sent from WasteConnect . Maybe I should look on Pinterest to decorate my bins since they seem to stay in front of my house now.

I’m so glad they created WasteConnect. I just found out about it over the holidays, and it has been super helpful! It tells you when you should expect pick up & what kind. It was especially helpful over the holidays to know the schedule changes. Thanks for a great looking and easy to navigate app!

We’ve been a customer and paying on their website for many years. But I just downloaded WasteConnect and entered our address 3 times (correctly) and WasteConnect says we don’t exist. DELETED.

I have no problem with the trash service itself, but WasteConnect is pure garbage! (pun intended)

PS: to the “developer response”…. Don’t even bother typing your canned and cliche response asking me to provide more info so you could look into it. WasteConnect will be deleted before you even have a chance to respond, so don’t even waste your time pretending to care.

We have appreciated your service for many years. Specifically, your organized system of providing notices, ease of billing and payment, and the reliability of service has been outstanding. We hope you stay in business for many years to come.

All my neighbors jumped ship from them and I defended them! I guess I spoke to soon. They didn’t pick up my recycling and I have a lot of torn down boxes and an extra can filled since I had no where to put it! I called and they said they apologize, they’ll pick it up Wednesday! Then no show. Called Wednesday, they said they’ll pick it up Thursday! No show. Called again and they said Monday, and I said I would like to cancel my services, they said ok, Monday final service! They picked up their cans and left a mess in front of my house.

Never Again!

There were a few glitches when we Forest started using WasteConnect (service alerts were opposite the calendar on the collector’s website), but those seem to be sorted out. It’s nice to get a reminder the night before, especially for our alternating recycling/yard debris service. The one thing WasteConnect seems to be missing is a way to report a missed pick up.

I really like WasteConnect, and have had no problem with it. It notifies me when trash will be picked up. So I don’t forget to take it out. It did notify me one time, that the trash would be picked up on my normal day. But there was no pickup. But other than that I can look on WasteConnect ahead of time to make sure that I do need to put the trash out.

I have been with this app ever since moving to the USA almost 2 yrs ago. They provided a great garbage and recycle service. But when I moved they no longer provided the recycle service apparently just outside of the city.
The collector we have is friendly and always arrives on time. They price matched a cheaper collector when I moved, which was great. WasteConnect is easy to use as is making a payment.
If they had a recycle service where I live I would give 5 Stars.

I love WasteConnect for the Convenience of not having to log onto my account through the website to recall when my payment is due I can simply click WasteConnect and my information is available to me. I am so busy and this really helps!

We really like the reminder but would really like it if we got an alert if the truck had a break down and will reschedule for the next day. There are 7 cans on our little loop. Please let us know if they arent going to pickup on our scheduled day. Otherwise a fantastic company.

I just installed your update but WasteConnect still doesn’t work. It shows “3 Waterway Sq Place” but it cannot be changed.

When I enter my address, it appears in the search box, but upon selecting it, there is an error message saying that you “can’t find that address”. Waste Connections already confirmed that I am a customer (since 2015) by my customer number. Your computer geeks need to add another function to search by customer number. You should not have released WasteConnect when it contains no working functions.

Although it doesn’t provide whole lot of information, it is still pretty decent app to gather some pick up info. It will be nice if we can schedule of a large item pick up request rather than calling in each time.

Wife made fun of me for having WasteConnect but after she observed how useful it was, she too thought it’s a great idea! Always able to check when the trash is coming and if there’s bad weather my first go-to is WasteConnect on the morning of my trash collection day!

I switched about 6 months ago and so glad I did. I’m so impressed how hard they work and never fail to get your rubbish on the day promised. They are always friendly and always willing to give a helping hand if they see you need it. Thanks y’all. Mike Halphen

I have been with county waste for 20 years. They are consistent with their pickup, call when there is a change in pickup days and reasonable pricing when picking up other than garbage. I a also like their new app.

With recycle pickup on alternate weeks, WasteConnect is much more reliable than relying on neighbors who have/not placed their recycle bin at the curb.

Is there a way to select the time of day for these reminders to appear? (I haven’t looked). I would prefer to be reminded midday rather than at 7:00pm on dark, snowy December nights.

It’s nice to have all the information to quick reference. I like the alerts for garbage pick up that I can get on my phone.

Both the garbage and recycle trucks are very punctual. The only thing is the only negative is it is not user friendly for us older folks, such as the recycle can is way too big and the garbage can is too small.

I really find WasteConnect useful I struggle to remember which week our recycling gets collected, but WasteConnect send a reminder a day ahead of pickup which is great. This is also very helpful to keep me on track on holiday weeks.

Great simple app. It basically tells you the trash and recycling days for your home. Sometimes I need a reminder and this is very easy.

I love WasteConnect works great on all my devices. Today I got a notification on my iwatch all about my garbage pick up it even works great on my iwatch. 5*s

WasteConnect is great prevents it’s customers from dragging out extra containers if you just look at app. It gives you your schedule!!

Finally I know (for sure!) what days recycle comes, and I can see pictures of the types of containers you are accepting.
