It's too complicated for the average older user. We did not grow up using technology! Dining information incomplete; dates of menus too small to read, they are the smallest on the page; when each day passes that menu should be deleted so one doesn't have to scroll on and on from the first day listed, OR JUST POST ONE DAY at a time. You can get stuck on a page with no way to move on to another page or even your Dashboard. It's almost impossible to use your fingers to enlarge a page on your up-to-date phone and keep it open until you decide to close it back to its normal size.

CloudStrike Lite or maybe another name. This update implementation has created a mess. Some no longer receive email notifications. Others can sign in on some devices but not others. Some had to start all over again with setting up CareMerge accounts, now labeled something else.

Rather than seeking opinions, fix the problems so we can quit using workarounds.

Quote of the Day needs a more readable friendly font, hard to read. 970 slides cannot scroll or pause giving time to fully read or jot down information, or go back. Dining needs to put Holiday information under Dining section as well as in the 970 section, which you cannot scroll through to read the dining information. Hospital list is not available on 970 or under Pastoral Care section. Residents that don’t have an iPad, computer or cellphone can only get information via 970 on TV

CareMerge apparently does not have enough energy among its software engineers
Much needed improvements have not yet been made, although they were identified several months ago
Good will seems to be there, but results are few and far between
As an example, a person who logs in on a cell phone does not see the same screen that appears on a computer, but must scroll way down & to the right
And log ins on a cell phone often do not work until the third try
In the past, the administration of our community distributed paper notices to us by putting them into our social mailboxes
And back then we seniors had few problems keeping up with events & campus news
CareMerge should make transitioning to digital an easy process, not leave us struggling

GoIconCommunityApp is fine, but the name change from Caremerge to GoIcon is… not great.

I get that companies merged or bought one another, but explaining to seniors that Caremerge is now GoIcon is not easy.

And how about a space in there? Go Icon reads way better than GoIcon, which really just looks like GOLCON, since the uppercase I and lowercase l look the same.

I love that I can make work order requests on line!
The site can be very hard to get into. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. Others have said they have the same problem.
I cannot get it to work on my iPhone. It does not recognize the same id and password as my iPad.

I’ve had to delete and reinstall GoIconCommunityApp at least 10 times because it freezes up on me. I have an Apple 12 phone. Please fix the bugs.
The Directory doesn’t always work, even when I put the first and last name of a resident. It sometimes doesn’t bring up anything.

Lectures appears under several sections. Under entertainment, under lectures, and one other but they don,t show info about lecture with picture, title. In one case it says pending, last updated in July. It gives the impression the lecture Series program is not functioning. Our next lecture. Program is this Monday October 28 with Buntzie Churchill and it isn’t showing in those designated places. Very frustrating.

There is a lot of information available here and I appreciate that. I would like it a little better if I could have a shortcut to the things I use most; like restaurant reservations.

CareMerge is a good source for information and signing up for events.

4 stars because the photo section is too slow. The menu on the left sign would be better if in alphabetical order.

GoIconCommunityApp is very helpful in many ways and is well done. The problem is the TV is rather worthless because you cannot control the speed therefore, just sitting and waiting for the thing to change is a total waste of time.

Having caremerge for only a week, my review may be a little early. So far I have put in a work order, checked the menu, looked up where a resident lives and found out that a resident had died. I think as we get deeper into it we will find it extremely useful and easy to use.

Has a lot of useful features. Will take time to find how to access them all. Being a committee chair the group features should save lots of time reminding members of meetings and commitments. Calendar reminders for the next several days on a rotating basis would be nice. So far I have not been able to access the monthly display. More data is needed which I’m sure will come.

This is such an improvement over the previous app at broadmead. I’m finding it easier to navigate and I am likely to use it. Other system used by resident gets me faster to the desired space. Bill Hardy has an easy to navigate system.

This is one of the best communicable web site I have ever used. I enjoy using it. Any information you are looking for you can easily find here. It is my go to for everything,

I can find everything I need to know about what’s going on in our retirement community in GoIconCommunityApp: who lives where, what’s on the menu in our restaurants and peruse lots of great activities that are available - as well as read the minutes from our leadership meetings and postings from our residents.

GoIconCommunityApp is a ”mini daily events calendar” where I can see a wide variety of events and activities, announcements, information, and so much more happening in our independent living community. GoIconCommunityApp is easy to navigate.
