Just to get you on the hook

I’ve been using your app for a long time , well only the free part of it because I can’t afford to pay for a service like the one you offer even for free. The pandemic hit me hard and I still haven’t recovered. Well like I said I’ve been using the free part of the HoursTracker app and it was fine up until this morning (May 29, 2022). WorkdayHoursTracker won’t let me in to see my hours that I have already logged in, much less let me put in any new entry’s with out paying for it. If I would have none you guys would have done this to me when I was looking for a app to track my hours I definitely wouldn’t have gone with you. I would have used one that was actually free. Now I’m being forced to pay so I can get my passed work hours record. Any button that I push sends me to the purchasing screen. Horrible business strategy, same on you.

Great app so far

Have had zero problems. Allows break times and export formats.

Update:
I’m using it daily and received a developer response that was encouraging - so they are very involved in WorkdayHoursTracker still. I also found out you can export and view hours for ranges which is really cool. I want to make this my GoTo permanently for consulting. One thing that would be cool is less a demand but a nice to have would be the ability to easily select week to week date ranges starting on the standard Sunday as beginning of the week and ability to select one or two weeks at a time, for instance.

Better than Good

One of the good apps I’ve come across. Simple and does the job. If you are a one-man-army, with pretty much a straight forward in and out work, it does a great job along with calculating your due amount. Best part: you can change the currency symbol which most other apps fail to do. But don’t get fooled by the missing in-app purchase! Pro has way more features and is a weekly subscription based app. Quite steep for the $1.99/week charge. Wish some of these features were free. But over all a good app.

Not iPad landscape friendly

I just downloaded this for iPad Pro and for some reason they have not figured out how to make it landscape friendly for iPad Pro. I had barely downloaded it and started to play around and it obsessively asked me to give it a rating — to be clear, I am writing this w/in 3 minutes of downloading b/c they say it iPad compatible and they kept pushing me to write a review. So, here is my review - figure out how to make this iPad compatible in landscape and stop pushing me to review within second of downloading your app. Let me work on WorkdayHoursTracker for a while before I offer a review. If you keep pushing me to review this is what you can expect.

First pass

I use it on a daily basis. I love that i dont have to create a separate account to use WorkdayHoursTracker and the data is managed in my own cloud drive. I like all the teeny tiny super useful features built in like ability os configure multi projects etc . My nitpicks would be that the ui could be better on the reporting side(weekly/monthly) reporting with aggregation by date/projects etc. should be an easy thing to do. Overall i like it a lot.

Best time tracker so far

I don’t normally leave reviews but since this is a new app and I really like it, I want to help.

I have tried several time tracker apps trying to find one that really fit my needs and my style. So far this one is the best.

I’ve only had it for a week so I’m still learning some of the functionality of it but there haven’t been any glitches so far.

This time tracker is great because it allows you to list multiple different jobs with different price points for each. You can easily “clock” in and out and it tracks the time you’ve spent and the total money you made for that job. This makes it easy to invoice. There are also graphs and charts that help you track where you’re spending time and which jobs are taking up your time.

Exactly What I Needed

My employer couldn’t seem to figure out how to help us track our time more easily, so I took matters into my own hands and decided to look for an app. Glad I did. This takes the guess work and frustration out of trying to figure out my time from day today. I just set up a project, open WorkdayHoursTracker, and click “Clock In” simple. This will save me so much agony that I used to go through completing my timesheet.

Definitely need this

WorkdayHoursTracker is very useful to keep track of your work hours yourself instead of whatever system your job uses, sometimes there system can mess up your clock rings or even your supervisors can go in and change your times and this is proof that you kept a personal record so no one can screw you over.

ONLY APP THAT SUBTRACTS BREAKS FROM HOURS TOTAL

As stated above, I downloaded about 6 or 7 hours tracking apps and NONE of them had any sort of column or total shown of hours MINUS breaks. All the apps when it totals your “working” hours - which includes breaks. That’s idiotic. This one subtracts your breaks from your total. I can just screenshot it to my boss and the hours reflect working hours minus breaks. This seems such an essential and simple need. Still confused.

Love this app

I absolutely loves WorkdayHoursTracker. My only suggestion would be to add paid on this. If I pay the person for their time on a certain day, I would like to be able to add that he was paid and have those days marked as paid and the total amount reduced by the amount paid, but not deleted. If this was on there, WorkdayHoursTracker would be a five.

Love. 🤑

I don’t have pro, but the free version has treated me very nicely by itself. The fact that I can tell, (post-tax and deductions,) up to the very second, what I’ve made so far.. is real motivation. I do have a request though, and If this is already implemented please forgive me, but I would love to see a way I could factor in Per Diem. (ie. $30/day | $3/hr tax free pay) Anyway; keep up the great work!

Great app for time tracking jobs

I like WorkdayHoursTracker for keeping track of time on projects. I do hope they can fine tune it to stop the clock when location is found a certain distance from job site. I have a hard time to remember to stop the clock lol.. but I am the most unorganized business owner hahaha

Amazing App!!

I have been using WorkdayHoursTracker for around 3 months now and it has worked amazing! It makes it very easy to put in your work hours and what I love is that it calculates the total hours for me so I won’t have to waste time adding them myself. I highly recommend WorkdayHoursTracker.

Love love love this app!

As a contract worker, WorkdayHoursTracker helps me stay super organized while managing my hours. It’s easy to use and I love that I don’t have to spend money to use it. I also love that I can insert comments into my entries which helps me remember which tasks I completed for each time slot. Thanks so much for creating WorkdayHoursTracker. The best one I’ve found!

What happened to search button???

WorkdayHoursTracker just auto updated and the search button that I used daily is gone!!!! I have a few hundred jobs listed. I can’t search the entire list. I paid a lot for WorkdayHoursTracker. Just sent another email… please bring the search button back.
Thank you :)
Was a great app until now. I can’t use without the search button
Very frustrating

No complaints except one thing

Pretty straight forward. It took me a second to understand how to actually use it to track my hours per day but now I’m able to see it. It’s annoying to have a pop up every time asking me to review WorkdayHoursTracker though or to turn off/on location tracking even though it’s already off. They need to fix that.

Amazing tracking for hours and estimated income

I decided to give WorkdayHoursTracker a try to help me better track my hours, and was surprised at how clean it was. And then I noticed it tracked gross and net income from the logged hours! I am very impressed and have already recommended to a few friends.

Easy to use

Easy makes tracking time on projects easy. Wish they had a way to add additional hours for when I forget to start it.

Hours Tracker, is so very helpful

I am able to easily track my working hours. I don’t have to write it down on paper then add all the hours and with what client , it saves me time and a headache. It’s very convenient .

Exactly what I was looking for

Extremely flexible app. I work as a freelance videographer. Any day that I work on preproduction or post production I can end up working on projects for 3 different clients. This lets me track my time commitment for each project so that I can bill the client correctly.

Was great, now awful

I have used WorkdayHoursTracker for many of my jobs for years. This is my backup to my time keeping for travel nursing and legal nurse consulting. It WAS amazing. Until the recent updates. Now, it doesn’t track accurately, it won’t run the reports the way it used to. It is no longer user friendly. It was worth the money for pro, but now it’s a wasted expense. This used to be my go to app for all of my clients. Now, I only have it in hopes they will fix it. That has not happened and I am extremely dissatisfied. Time to try its competitors who are more user friendly and affordable.

Mmmm.. not sure about this!!

I downloaded WorkdayHoursTracker and was excited to use WorkdayHoursTracker the next work day, but when I click on it to start , it takes me to my Home Screen of my phone and never started and I have put in times to remind me on breaks too.. but still nothing.. I put in all the information on it and it’s not working at all’s it’s not doing anything. So I plan to give it a try this week and if it does not work at all.. then I’ll take it off my app and know that next time I see WorkdayHoursTracker , I won’t be trying it out again. Hopefully IT people can fix it.
