Needs much improvement

SonosAutomation does not want to fully integrate with apple airplay and multiple zones or systems. It keeps dropping the speakers and then locks up while trying to find them. I must be doing something wrong.

Added SonosAutomation and signed in as the instructions said to do and nothing happened. There is nothing that works on the screen of SonosAutomation .

After you run the shortcut that was created it doesn’t work . It just hangs then errors out

Brutal Shortcuts Integration

2023-04-12

No clear way to add shortcuts to the Shortcuts app and then once they do magically appear in the Shortcuts app, there is no way to manage existing shortcuts. Try overwriting an existing one with the same playlist and the old shortcut persists, forever.

Does not work

2023-05-13

Once I open SonosAutomation the screen is blank other than a button to log in. This takes you to a broken page.

App Works Great!

2023-06-14

Downloaded SonosAutomation and was a little skeptical. 1 thing to note, you have to have the things you want to add to Siri in your “My Sonos” section of your Sonos system.

Works great and would definitely recommend.

Features

Sonos Automation integrates directly with the official Sonos API, so any music you trigger to play is streamed directly from the cloud to your Sonos speakers as opposed to streaming from your phone to the speakers, which drains your phones battery.

You can setup Siri Shortcuts for your Sonos favorites and playlists and you can trigger them with Siri directly or include the shortcut as part of a workflow in the Shortcuts app.

Sonos Automation lets you automate music playback on Sonos speakers using Siri.

You can trigger these shortcuts from anywhere - unlike the Sonos Controller app you do not need to be on the same network as your Sonos devices.
