I was so hopeful for a simple, useful app

Accessing my account was easy. Scanned my card and entered the pin. No problem.
But when I attempted to place a book on hold it wants me to enter the card number again and the scan option doesn’t even work. Make it simple. I’m logged in on the app. Use my account info you already have and don’t make me enter it again. No, making me scan it again is not a simple solution even if it worked. I may have my phone with me everywhere I go but not my library card. You know who I am because I’m logged in. Use that.
What I had most hoped for in this app isn’t simple to use, but should be simple to fix.
Can’t even log in!

I was so excited about this app, but it won’t even recognize my account number and PIN. Tried several times and no go. Maybe another update will fix it? Also, it’s crazy that they used a developer from the UK rather than an LA-based county-approved vendor. How does that work? Who decided that one???

It won’t scan my barcode. When entering the number and pin manually it won’t log in. This happens both on the iPhone and the iPad app. When logging in on the website, all works is fine. The app is unfortunately useless.
