I was very happy to have Smou because it’s an innovation in this OLD Europe, BUT:
1. it doesn’t remind you to finish your parking when you’re leaving the spot. Smou has maps and geolocation, I mean come on ;). I have paid 2-4 euro for nothing for 3-4 times already, because I was parking for 5 minutes but forgetting to finish my parking when sitting in the car and promptly driving on. Smou only told me 15 min before the time limit that the parking is finished, so I paid 1 hour 40 minutes for not using the parking, looks like a scam.
2. One time I tried your new cool feature to enter the covered parking and exit it just paying with Smou and not having to struggle with paper tickets and finding the payment machines. It worked just fine when I entered, it read my license plate and let me in without any ticket, but at the exit, the machine told me that there was no info about my license plate entering the parking. I ended up sitting in my car at the exit for about 15-20 min, trying to solve this with the information phone box because there was no staff in the parking and those guys on the phone were struggling to find my info about entering the parking as well AND of course during all that time, there was a queue behind me of around 5 cars waiting for me to exit so they can exit as well. Weird enough, however finally they found me and I solved it, BUT this wasn’t the end. I wend out of parking and just entering my home, I found out that in Smou , my parking counter is still going on and there is no phone number, nothing to contact and ask for help, except of a contact form which is taking 2-3 days (maybe even more) to get an answer. So, I had to spend gas, drive back to the parking, take a ticket (because I don’t trust anymore this feature in your app), talk to the information phone box again and ask the guys to end the parking counter in my app, so it’s very inconvenient and costly for me to pay for your guys’ fault. I don’t need to pay for your fault, it’s not my responsibility, so please make sure that you test Smou and it’s features before releasing it, so that your users don’t feel rubbed, scammed and etc because your fault should cost you money, time and effort, not mine or anyone else’s.
In overall, I had to pay around 20 euros for your incompetence. This money didn’t make my life, but you need to deal with your issues and fix them. If you’re trying to make people’s lives more comfortable then make it right.
